Probably the best kept secret of locals. Well this market just froze in time, and the fiod here is exceptional and fantastic. From the desserts to the soups and the mung bean "omellete" (Kanom Bueang Juan) and the one bite (Miang kham) and the Curries (the panang chicken is crazy). I want to bring a tent and live there. So much to explore.

Local market with no tourists which is a good thing. Great place for a quick lunch. Outside the main road there's a fruit smoothie shop is super tasty and refreshing, the lady doesn't speak English but she is very nice and friendly.

Came here as part of a street food tour. There are lots of vendors and quite a bit of space for seating in the middle of the market. We tried a variety of sweet and savoury dishes, including a pork noodle soup, betel leaf snack, various coconut based sweets and lots of interesting tropical fruits. Visit was on a public holiday so it was relatively quiet but I would imagine it gets very busy at lunch time during the week.

Surprisingly clean market which tailor itself to both local and tourists with many signs explaining the dishes being sold. My favourite is Kanin tuay, a little steamed coconut treat. The two layers of jelly one sweet one savoury complimented each other extremely well. Had to stop myself at two…

Local prices at 40 to 100 baht for a meal. It's walking distance from our current place and locals around the area go there for lunch. Most of them can't speak English but there are some pictures on their menus so... just point. 60baht for a bowl of fish maw vermicelli noodles. 25 to 40baht for juices.

We had an amazing experience with this tour. Nut & crew knew so much about old Bangkok & the origins of foods like pad thai. The canal boat ride was fantastic - didn't even know we could do that! We visited a fantastic old town market, trying curries, pork, duck, noodles, pandan jelly, fried radish - coconut everything. We got to try the original sriracha! The tour was well paced with small bites along the way so we never got too full. Everything we tried except for the curries at the end and mung bean dessert - were completely new. Everything was delicious, except our American palates were not super fond of the mung bean dessert! Some of the foods were spicy but most weren't. You will get your money's worth + snacks to take home. If anything it went by a little over time so if you're on a schedule say something! We got to meet locals in the neighborhood too!

This market is primarily a ton of food. Seems to me like it is enjoyed mostly by locals and there are so many options. Come hungry!

Hidden gem which not many tourists know. Local markets providing a lot of traditional market snacks and foods. For a wet market, it’s considered as clean and well-maintained. We tried a lot of rare and strange local foods here. Love it.

Although it was late morning and a lot of vendors were still closed, there was more than enough to choose from. Some interesting foods and snacks which I haven't seen before. There are 2 big areas for eating which is kept very clean.
