My third time staying at the hotel as a Titanium Elite member, and the manager really needs to iron out the supposed "elite" check-in, which is a time-wasting disservice more than a service as others have noted. My suite upgrade was denied. After flying 24 hours I just want to get to my room and shower and nap, but instead I was made to wait for an "upgrade" of unclear value. Otherwise the hotel is lovely, it's just frustrating that 2 out of 3 visits I've had this bad first impression.

This hotel is only friendly to European and American members, which is one of the characteristics of Thailand's tourism industry. The concierge service is very professional, and the attitude of the staff in the executive lounge is actually indifferent. You sit there for five minutes and no one asks what you want to drink, but if you're white, they'll greet you warmly and warmly with a smile. The location, facilities and concierge service of the hotel are very good, but the staff of the executive lounge treats guests differently. If you want to feel discriminated against, then I recommend you to come to this hotel.

Whenever we go back to Bangkok, Athenee has always been our first choice, as our recent visit. I would like to express my appreciation to all hotel staffs who had worked during 3-8 Jan 2022. Although breakfast was limited compared to pre-Covid time, you will find plenty of choices with good food quality. Most importantly, I would like to personally thank Ms. Kaewfah, duty manager, for your kind assistance and patience to help solving our problems relating Covid case. This trip could have been way more chaotic without your help. Thank you very much much. We truly appreciated your excellent service.

Best stay in BKK. Price is reasonable but it exceeds expectations in many ways. 1. Details Staffs will fold your charger cables and make the room well organized after cleaning. Cleanness stands out here. 2. Food and lounges Breakfast and food in the lounge are also high standard. Great selection of snacks and drinks. 3. Staffs More welcoming than other places nearby. Staffs escort you to the elevator and wait until you enter every single time. Check in and check out staffs are trained to find topics with guests as well.

Great location, lots of good food places within walking distance (5-20 min walk). Service is top notch. They come around and give you water a few times a day. The pool is nice although there's no jacuzzi. Rooms are nice but standard for this type of hotel.

Very much enjoyed our stay here. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. My husband and I were celebrating our honeymoon and the staff welcomed us with a cake and balloons in our room. The rooms were clean and some of the comfiest beds/pillows I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. Breakfast buffet was also a highlight. Would absolutely stay again and recommend to anyone in Bangkok.

Very nice hotel with very good gym and swimming pool area. Beautiful rooms and friendly staff. Very comfy beds. Only thing is that food and beverage area needs a lot improving. Breakfast was basicly disaster. 4 mornings of 6 we couldn’t get our eggs at all, waiting timed were long and hosts usually bit rude. On some mornings we asked after our orders 2-3 times and nothing happened. There were many other unhappy customers as well with same problems. Coffee or tea was also luxury item (if you managed to get some). Tried also ask for crepes from pancake station and cook ran away and came back after few minutes waiting and said that there’s no ingredients which was weird answer when there are pancakes available. Still very nice selection of foods and nice fresh juice bar. At the pool area there were few times when our order was forgotten and we didn’t get food we ordered. Some of the staff didn’t understand english at all which made it bit hard to communicate. Door service at the lobby was very good and effective as well as the service at the lobby bar.

Very nice hotel in the heart of Bangkok. Big rooms, friendly staff and very attentive, easy access to pretty much anywhere around the city because it’s quite in the central. A good selection of breakfast. They served pretty much everything that Bangkok has to offer. It’s a pleasant stay to be at this hotel. This hotel has becoming one of my favorite in the city. Hotel is good. Very clean and nice. Great breakfast as well. But the lady guest relations manager or something is very dubious. Getting the private numbers of male guests and contacting them on non guest stay matters is a bit too dodgy.

Beautiful Hotel. Super friendly staff. Great Breakfast (with a fresh fruit juice station where they will mix you any juice you wish). Very large and beautiful Lounge with great snacks and drinks to offer. Pool area is very large and relaxing.

Such a wonderful hospitality from the staff. They have quite a few technical issues with our group, but overall the service was great and I was very satisfied during my stay. Room was very spacious, elegant and felt luxurious. They are spot on by having it a Luxury Collection. Due to our busy schedule in working days, it was unfortunate that we truly enjoyed the whole buffet of breakfast on our last day. But it was unforgettable indeed. Not to mention how close it is to the BTS line station and all the shopping centers around the location.

Stayed here three times in the last 8 months and every time has been wonderful. Location is very convenient. Staff is incredibly friendly. Room (and bed/pillows in particular) are super comfy. Pool area great (although a shame that new skyscraper is now blocking the sun in the afternoon, but the hotel can’t help it). Breakfast is top notch and I also dined at the Allium once which was yummy. The last time I stayed I had my cat with me, so pet friendly!!! And the staff were so great with her <3

The Athenee is simply superb - we stayed there for eight nights and the team is incredible, starting from the door to the housekeeping! A special thanks to Graph, Ake and Alongkorn, the concierge team who provided excellent advice and we DO recommend that you take part in the Destination Discoveries activities provided complimentary by the hotel. The Athenee Prestige room is spacious and well furnished with Byredo amenities and a huge and comfy bed. The breakfast has all kinds of options and amazing staff. The pool is so beautiful, loved being there at dawn and the team working there is also excellent. Also tried and loved the spa, a true 5 star experience. It is a busy hotel but the staff just treated us so good, so really the best asset of this hotel is the AMAZING staff. Would be back for sure, everything was perfect!

One of the best services I’ve ever had. All staff is super attentive and helpful…from doorman to check in to restaurants to housekeepeing. The design is not appealing to me (prefer modern design and decor as opposed to classic), but that’s the only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5. Locationsnis also fantastic right next to central embassy that has a lot of food and shopping options. Walking distance to central world (15 mins).

In the center of high end Bangkok if that's your thing. Very helpful staff and high end club with excellent food presentation....but big and busy. Food and drinks were great and pool on the 4th floor is nice. It's a very busy feeling hotel and traffic makes getting a taxi in and out challenging, but it's a really nice property with great service

Dominic’s customer service is the best I’ve ever experienced at any luxury hotel! There was a minor mix-up during a very busy holiday season. However, Dominic quickly took accountability for the error and ensured a quick fix. He turned a stressful situation into the best hotel experience we’ve had to date. We stayed at Athenee during our visit to Bangkok. The hotel is at a convenient location, we were able to walk to the premium malls and restaurants around. The hotel was super clean and the staff members were very friendly. Spacious rooms with city view. We enjoyed the rooftop pool and the spa.

Stayed here for our honeymoon, the team did a wonderful job to make it a special stay. Hotel rooms are comfortable with lovely Byredo bath products. Fantastic location, with great BTS access. Breakfast was nice but not the best I’ve had in SE Asia. Would definitely come back again.

The Athenee is now my favourite hotel in the world. It's really a demonstration of the importance of hospitality in the hospitality industry. The staff in this hotel go above and beyond in providing a good experience to guests. The public facilities are absolutely gorgeous throughout the property, while the rooms themselves are charming and very well maintained, with housekeeping being very meticulous. There's a number of very respectable food options on site, and a plethora of choices for breakfast. The location is in the middle of a busy hotel district, which made it feel quite safe and locates it next to a number of choices for shopping. If you're taking cabs, you'll be located relatively close to the major tourist sites in the city (20 minutes in light traffic, 30-40 minutes in heavy traffic). The lounge for seasoned Bonvoy members offered high quality, if sparse, items in the afternoon and evening, which can serve as delightful snacks before a meal or a full meal if you're intent on not going out to experience the culinary splendor of Bangkok. What really set it apart for us personally was the care shown by staff when we had a medical issue that required a visit to the nearby hospital. They went above and beyond in helping us through the entire process, and that was very much appreciated. I genuinely feel both admiration for the way they handled the situation and gratitude for their help. Aside from that incident, other interactions we had with staff were very favourable as well, they never shied away from a friendly wave or hello at any time and were helpful with planning visits to tourist spots. Thank you all and I wish I could be back already!

We had a pleasant stay at Athenee Hotel last month, and glad that we chose this hotel. The staffs were polite and helpful. Room was spacious and clean. Lovely swimming pool. Location was great close to BTS and shopping malls. Breakfast buffet were fantastic too. Only comment is that they should have more items on room service menu. They had a lot of corporate events when we were staying, its quite a lively hotel. We will definitely return.

Only good things, nice room, perfect service, great breakfast and a great pool surrounded by high rise buildings! Nice neighborhood with good choice of restaurants, although I guess that's pretty standard for a city like Bangkok. The sheets are first class and the breakfast, choice, quality and service is one of the best I've experienced!

I would say the services are beyond expectations. The staffs are attentive and friendly. This time we brought our cats to stay with us (just knew hotel is pet-friendly) They prepared everything and little details they do are impressive. We spent 4 nights there and enjoyed the stay and food in Oct 2021. We used business room during workdays so my husband and I didn’t need to be in the same room when having meetings. Bed is very comfy.

Although the room was comfortable and for the most part immaculate, I found the service to be less than satisfactory, especially compared to what is to be expected from a Marriott. Although it is understandable that midday is a busy time, the lack of service during the check in process is completely unacceptable and left us quite disoriented; we were not even offered drinks. The piano should also either have a sign or is otherwise locked if it is not to be touched. Some parts of the room like the lamp and the shower floor were visibly dusty but did not majorly affect the general comfort of the room. Don't let this review stop anyone from booking a room(s) at this hotel, it is a fantastic hotel and I believe I am just particularly unlucky.

I have been a long-term guest at this hotel and can vouch for its high quality rooms, location, and food. But what really sets this hotel apart is the level of service. Staff take the time to learn your name, know your preferences, and treat you like a king or queen. I really don't want to leave and I cannot imagine staying anywhere else.

Really enjoy this hotel. The staff is really friendly and helpful, the rooms are the right combination of functionality and luxury, and the lounge is really nice. If you have Marriott status, the lounge serves light snacks/meal through out the day. There are also complimentary drinks from about 5:30-7:30

I never had the chance to stay here so this review is purely related to the customer service experience to a potential consumer. I paid extra for a fully refundable room. My trip was canceled due to travel restrictions and for the past two months I have been trying to receive my refund. At first the costumer service office was helpful, but they have since disappeared and will provide no answers or basic communication. I am still waiting on my refund. I would expect more from anyone in the hospitality industry especially a Marriott.

My husband and I stayed here for five nights during our honeymoon. The service was exceptional. Each day, the staff was attentive and provided knowledgeable recommendations. The daily breakfast was exceptional, with a wide selection of international options each morning, including fresh-squeezed juice and smoothies and cooked-to-order eggs. The room was larger than most, with a spacious bathroom and ample amenities.

I visited about five years ago and stayed in an executive room. I had all the breakfast in the club lounge, but there were not many kinds of food, but it was nice to have a quiet meal. I drank martini in the lounge every evening and the manager of the lounge always kindly asked, 'How was your day?'. The pool was quiet and nice, and overall the facilities were good. However, when I checked out, I left my luggage and went sightseeing in the city, but there was a confusion with the staff in charge, so I had a hard time finding my luggage. And the sidewalk from the subway station to the hotel is too narrow. It was good that there were not many Korean tourists. see ya~ :)
