This place is currently shut! For all of you who have reservations through booking/Agoda and the like you'll find it closed on arrival (Jan 2022), apparently it has been for a while!

Absolutely in love with this setting. It was a simple, clean, quiet, everything-you-can-ask-for hostel that is centrally located to all attractions in bangkok. The staff were friendly and had answers to everything. The common lounge is fresh and a great place to meet fellow backpackers. I walked to every popular attraction from here. I would definitely go back here and recommend this place to anyone looking for a neat little place in the heart of activity. P.S. I took the 8 bed female dorm, it's nice, quiet and tucked away with loads of privacy.

First hostel I stayed at in Thailand which really kickstarted my Travelling experience. The staff were super friendly and chatty and would join you on days and nights out to boost your experience. The dorms were pretty big and there would be two bunk beds per room and approx. 10 rooms per dorm. Perfect if you are looking to meet people as just a walk to the locker or the bathroom would get you doing just that. The lockers were large enough to fit a 70Litre backpack inside them. You would just need a small lock. There was a male and female bathroom on each floor consisting of a toilet and two showers. When it is busy, expect to wait but generally people want a 2min shower then get back in the sun. The communal area is large and a sociable setting to chat to others :)

A great social hostel close to Khaosan Road. The sharing area is very cool with some mattresses and pillows which you can use when you arrive early or after your check out when you have a late ticket. You can take bus S1 from and to the airport (60 Baht) which has a stop so close to the hostel. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The only negative point was the air conditioner which was too cold, specially when you sleep on the upper bunk.

Super nice place to stay. We got here the first time and got so warmly welcomed by all the staff, we ended up booking the same place for our second visit in Bangkok. Would really recommend, super friendly environment and nice and clean dorms. A special thanks to View for the amazing hospitality and friendlyness. 10 outta 10 would recommend to a friend.

Enjoyed my stay here. Very clean and quiet in the bedrooms. Crazy comfy bed. Social but not a crazy party atmosphere. Nice that there is do it yourself laundry, as well. Will absolutely be back! The only real downside was that there were no privacy screens on the actual beds and that the AC gets turned off in the rooms during the day.

NapPark is such a good hostel,View is very helpful. During the day it has a chilled vibe and during the evening it is more partying. The hostel provides many activities which were great, cooking class, karaoke etc

The host is really friendly and helped us loads when we first arrived. Rooms are really nice and everyone is so welcoming. They run activities during the day if you don’t know what to do. Amazing.

The place looks like the pictures and the rules online are accurate. It's a great place considering the price. You have a little kitchen facility which gives you hot water and there is hot water in the showers. The staff are really friendly. My cousin and I spent two nights and it was enjoyable. They also have lots of games available to play if you wish and lots of open space and communal areas for people to meet others. You also see the staff cleaning the place regularly and everything was kept at a good standard. Although, the AC was a little bit cold at night but that's very subjective of course haha. But after the first night it didn't feel so bad. Just to be mindful though in case it is important to you. The location is perfect as it is walking distance to some temples, food markets, supermarkets and central Bangkok.

Cleanest hostel I’ve stayed in during my time in Thailand! Super great location— close to Khao San but far enough away that it’s very quiet. The dorms have bunk beds separated by transparent screens so sound carries if there are loud people. Guitar in main common room with lots of lounging area. Wish I could have stayed here more than one night

My stay in the hostel was a bit underwhelming. I expected a nice hostel, based on their claims of being an award winning hostel. However, it turns out most of those were almost a decade ago. I would not call the garden in front of the hostel a garden and there is not really a place/bar for people to socialize (except for some places to sit at the entrance of the hostel). They gave me an 8 person dorm, even though I paid for a 6 person dorm. The beds however were comfortable. Also at the check in check if the staff helps you to tie your bracelet key otherwise it is very likely to fall off. The worker that checked me in forgot to adjust mine and eventually I had to pay 400 baht for the lost key. Except for this incident the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Extended my stay because I knew there was nothing better for the price in Khao San. The staff here are very sweet and attentive, they will take care of you! The rooms were also very clean and nice, featuring veiled dividers if you would like more privacy. Very comfortable beds too. Overall, I'd say you won't find anything more chill and authentic in Khao San!

I stayed here for only 2 nights, but it was such a great experience! They hosted a cooking class which not only allowed us to make and eat delicious food, but also gave a great opportunity to meet awesome travelers at the hostel! I arrived with a sprained ankle and Gopa noticed right away and made sure I was set up on the second floor with a lower bunk so it would be easier for me to get around. He truly went out of his way to help me all three days! Thank you Gopa and the rest of the staff for being amazing!

Honestly everything to the location, staff, and atmosphere here is wonderful! Centrally located walking distance to Khao San road, but just enough away where the loud crowds and music wont keep you up. The atmosphere here is a great blend of social and calm, that makes a great mix to meet new people and explore together! The staff, I could go on for hours about how amazing they all are! Kat, Gopal, and View are some of the most wonderful receptionist you will meet! Very helpful and friendly, who are there to help you in your stay! They have re-opened their bar and have events throughout the week. The rooms vary on size depending on how many beds. No matter what room you choose, all the beds are comfy, clean, and have aircon until noon! I would highly recommend this so anyone traveling to Bangkok!

atmosphere, cleanliness, staff - everything is very good! The big plus is who lives there, the contingent is magnificent, young people from different countries, it won’t be difficult to find a cheerful company. if you are traveling alone - this is the place for you! The location is simply gorgeous, I walked around the corner and found myself in a night market in the best Thai style! I will definitely come back here for longer ! Kapun krap!

Great place to stay, well maintained and helpful staff. Washing machine can be used but charbale. Spacious air conditioned common room, internet PC, tourism books, comes with purified water, Refrigerator, microwave and cutlery in kitchen. Has a Tamarind tree of over 150 years. Green space on the top floor next to laundry area is a top spot for a quite space.

Staff exceptionally rude, rooms are not as advertised, reported bed bugs. Staff seemed reluctant to actually do their job and help those staying at the hostel At all points in my stay the staff were exceptionally rude, rooms have NO privacy, showers have no locks on them. Washing machine and dryer don't work properly, just ate my coins without working. Definitely won't be back, and recommend travellers search elsewhere for a hostel

This is my 3rd time staying at this hostel in the last 2 years and I still love it now just as much as I did the first time. The staff are great and very helpful - “View” especially took care of us and gave us great guidance and information. Social hostel with great chill out areas.

I had a very bad experience with the night shift front desk lady, she had a very bad attitude against me, very rude. I forgot my key inside my bedroom and I just asked for help but she refused and told me not to talk to her…. She let me at the reception after midnight for 5 hours because she doesn’t wanted to help me! Also she made up a false story about me that was totally false. The rest of the staff was very very friendly tho, hopefully she can improve herself

Lovely stay, the staff were great although no one listened to them most of the time. Emma was amazing and gave me an hour worth of thai lessons, Gopa was cool too. Many foreigners, both guys and gal's whom are a little loud at night. Great alternative to mad monkey and runs a little less expensive, great naps, great place when looking to stay near the centre of BK.

Hostel in a great location, bed are decent and rooms have good AC. The hostel gave free tickets for a Thai boxing event also. Staff are super nice especially View, she was fun and a really a good laugh.

Nappark was really fun hostel, the rooms were big with a massive locker space. The hostel its self was very sociable with various lounge spaces for mingling. The staff were friendly and helped out. The location is perfect! The hostel put on free activities which is a bonus and they set up beer pong & kareoke every night

  • 1/5 Finbar J. 4 months ago on Google
Quite different to how it is pictured on hostelworld and google maps, some of the features advertised in the rooms are simply non-existent, e.g. balcony and curtains. Bathrooms were somewhat clean but also had open lidless bins filled with used toilet paper frequently overflowing. Staff care more about you wearing shoes inside than running a good hostel. Stay somewhere else.

Comfortable hostel which is a two minute walk from khao san road. Montantip travels is right opposite the hostel adding to the convenience. The staff is extremely helpful and fosters a collegial environment. Special shout-out to View who is amazing and helpful.

It's a place full of obnoxious backpackers, not somewhere you'd want to take your family on vacation.

After a long tiring night train journey to Bangkok we were allowed early check in at 7:30am by a super friendly woman on reception at the time. There was only two bunks until others checked out that day (which was fine as we are a travelling as two couples so we shared singles). It has decent bathrooms with great showers. The atmosphere seemed good here too and rather busy considering. When receiving our other bunks it wasn’t until we started to get ready for bed that I noticed my bedding and sheets hadn’t been changed at all. They were dirty with brown stains from where someone had been sat/laid previously (I dread to think what it was). The pillows smelt of sweat too. When asking the woman politely on the night shift to get my bedding changed she pulled a face and acted quite rude towards us. I even offered to bunk back up with my partner to save the hassle with it been late but she shrugged and insisted it got changed. After the maid changed them we then noticed what could only be explained as “stains” on the wall from which ever male had been there before (see picture) which dripped all the way down to the bunk below. We also miss placed one of our bags one day (which turned out to be in my friends locker) and asked the same lady on reception if she could help us and again she didn’t want to know, didn’t even offer to check CCTV, just said “no ones checked out today“ (even though one of the bunks had been made up when we got in and another person arrived the next morning). Checked out and spent our last night across the road instead which had clean and tidy dorms with friendly staff.

Pretty cool! Location was really a good thing! Near Khao San Road but not in the middle so you can sleep. The bunks are grouped by 4, so no matter how many are in your room, you have the feeling as you’re sharing only 4 people always. Pretty convenience locker just to leave the whole bag.

Great social hostel. Did not like the lack of curtain around the beds, would be nice to have a tiny bit of privacy. Met lots of people here as a solo traveler, would definitely recommend it to people looking to stay in the Khao San area.

NapPark is the perfect place to stay for anyone on an adventure to Bangkok. I've stayed at NapPark so many times, I've lost count how many times I've returned. It's my favourite place to stay in Bangkok and one of the best hostels I've every stayed in. All of the staff here are some of the friendliest I've come across at any hostel. They will go out of their way to make sure your stay is comfortable. It's a unique place as it's so easy to meet people with mattress setup in the main lounge area. You'll regularly find people chilling here, chatting over drinks. It's so simple yet effective. The rooms are also super comfy. Whilst some sleep a lot of people, they are still very private, as each bed is closed off by a set of curtains. NapPark is located two streets down from Khao San Road. So you benefit from being close to all of the action, whilst being far enough away for it to be peaceful. It's also pretty hidden, down a small alley way so it's off of the main street. This is the place I always stay now when travelling through Bangkok. If you're planning to stay, book early, as it gets full very quickly!

GREAT LOCATION! Nice, clean, simple rooms. Women's bathroom had great showers and was well-kept. Computers available in lobby. It is advertised with a bar but in actuality it is a cooler with beers priced nearly double of 7-11 down the block. A/C is turned off all day. Tours available to book through front desk. Public spaces are in definite need of update but location is awesome.

The larger of the dormitories is very nice with draw cord privacy curtains separating beds, although clumsier and fatter guests might disturb others just moving or fidgeting on the floor with their luggage. The decor too is very soothing in greys, terracotta and sometimes black. In the ground floor reception lobby space is a medium-sized collection of books. However I seriously don’t like the absence of bum guns/bidets. Furthermore there are too few washrooms, although if you’re prepared to rise early or are a morning person no worries about arrogant and slow white people hogging these facilities.

6 a.m. 21 August I asked if I can leave my luggage there until 7 p.m. and the guy on reception requested 200 baht. 1 night stay is 500 baht there. This is how you lose clients, think long term. 200 baht for 1 bag, for what? If you want to leave your luggage check Radical Storage, it’s 100 baht. You can book it via app.

Nice and Good hostel to meet other travellers 👏 for parties ane fun at Khao san road !

  • 5/5 Lucas C. 1 year ago on Google
I truly recomed staying here, the environment is more catered to building a relationship with other travelers. It's always clean, and you can actually get a good night sleep with the comfortable beds. It's located the perfect distance from Khao San road where you can't hear it, but not too far where you won't make it back if you stupid drunk, and it's walking distance from many main attractions. I could not ask for better service than what I experienced. They treat you like people and not just customers. When I got really sick, the staff would always check up on me to see if I was okay and would try to make me as comfortable as possible. Nappark will always hold a special place in my heart. I'll definitely come back here.

Super friendly reception staff; very professional and helpful. The place as a whole was kept clean and the security measures gave me peace of mind for my belongings. A great hostel if you’re looking for a bit more peace and quiet compared to some of the surrounding party hostels!

Very good layover service in a great location. For 150baht we could leave our luggage all day in their storage room, take a shower (they provided towel), use wifi and hang out in the common areas. Shower facilities were very clean and wifi area very comfy with pillows and all.

The hostel is really well located, not too noisy at night. It has a great environnement for meeting other travelers. YET the bed feels like a rock, and the rooms are not well isolated, in the sense that you will here everything happening on your floor (from people showering to people just opening their door). If you don’t mind the noise and like sleeping on a wooden plank, then you might be fine.

Great service. Chilled atmosphere. Cute receptionist (male). Idk his name 🥲 Very warm welcoming people. Would definitely book it, if I revisit.

This is definitely the hostel to stay at in Bangkok! - the facilities are amazing. no shoe policy inside ensures great cleanliness. shower and toilet facilities are fantastic and feel modern - true to it's name - the sleeping experience is second to no hostel in Bangkok. the mattress I slept on was very soft and the blankets were very comfortable. - all the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant - the common lounging area is wonderful for meeting other backpackers. also the perfect place for a nap - I will book here again for sure!

Nappark Hostel is very well located, secure, sociable and clean. You are in the centre of Bangkok with the bustling Khao San Road very nearby. The hostel is very sociable but not a loud party hostel. I was able to sleep during the day in their 22 person dorm and disturbances during the night were minimal. The staff are very helpful and got me on a cheap tour of the biggest floating market for 750 baht, a travel website was charging 1250 for a single journey. One of the staff also took me to one of the night markets and we spent the evening together which was lovely. The hostel feels modern and authentic at the same time. An electronic wristband is needed to get into the hostel and into each dorm so you feel very safe and secure when inside. I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone staying in Bangkok

Very clean and social hostel! Comfy beds! You can’t hear partying from Ko San rd so that’s good. Great location near the city’s attractions like markets and temples. Very kind staff 10/10 would recommend

I like this hostel. I've stayed there twice and will go back. Rooms and washrooms are small. They have big lockers for all your luggage. The beds are clean and comfortable. The staff are super friendly, kind and helpful. Good location very close to Bramaputtri Alley and Khao San Road
