Beds were like sleeping on bricks, the covers weren't clean. The whole place is pretty run down, with entrance to the property being in a very run down back street. The toilets and showers were pretty dirty and staff members uninterested and unhelpful. However, there is a chilled out area with a nice view of the river and the hostel's location is pretty good - 10 min ride to main tourist attractions.

This place is just great! If you are looking for a nice view and good atmosphere this is definitely the place to go, it’s a hidden gem within a huge city, you have to walk through small roads to get there but when you are there it’s quiet and great! The owner Ben is just an amazing human being 👌 he gonna make your day better with his great humour. The rooms are great, for the price it’s just what you expect, nothing more or less. Probably the best place to stay in Bangkok for backpackers there looking for a place to hangout in and go back to after a hectic day in the city 🖖 The location is good, walking distance to the party street and food street, and about 5 min away for the ferry transport, the bus to the airport 901 is 5 min walk away as well. Good and comfortable place👌

Never choose this place for your trip to Bangkok. The way to this guest house is too small to be included on the map and in reality only one person can fit the width of it. If you come at midnight, you might be bite by neighbors' dogs cuz the way is very narrow that the only choice is walking while dogs are released. The price might be lower than other hostels or guest houses, but I still feel I paid more that it really worth. There are many trees in the garden so there are a lot of mosquitoes. Two bathrooms are shared by all guests and there is no air conditioner in my room.

Cheap, decently clean and with ac. Staff spoke very little English, didn't understand us when we requested some sheets as we were missing a few. Beds were uncomfortable but not the worst we had. Good on a budget, but if you have a bit more to spend I recommend you do so.

Great river view. From terrace, not from your room. We spent a night in some place without windows. No light and lots of sound through thin walls. Shared bathroom is old and dirty. Only if your budget is extremely tight.

It meets all the needs of a budget traveler or backpacker. Common area sink, cold water shower :(, bidet wand, private or multi bed rooms. Great staff, out of the way and on the river. The lounge area is peaceful. The WiFi is strong in the rooms and lounge area. They also can do laundry and provide meals.

Stayed there for five nights. Absolutely recommend it! On my arrival after 17 hours flight a very friendly man welcomed me, Ben. He´s very helpful and good fun. The dorms are great value. My first night I stayed in the sharing one. Quite comfy, mosquito net works well, as well as the ventilators on top of you. My second night I shared with my friend a private room. Nice too. Views to the river. Sunrise and sunset are stunning. It doesn´t feel like paradise, this is PARADISE! He did a very tasty barbecue and invited everyone there. Thank you very much Ben for your kidness :-)

I am really happy and comfortable here. There are mosquito coils for the insects, that only bother me around sunset. There is a kitchen, plenty of places to relax, and the best possible river view. But there can be the smell of old water sometimes.

interesting hostel / bungalow guest house by the river in a great location a few minutes walk from Koa San Road. Basic but cheap self contained bamboo style bungalows or optional shared dorms. The immediate area retains some traditional character with a maze of winding wooden platform pathways to arrive at the guest house. would stay here again and recommended.

It's my house in Bangkok! I love the bamboo dorm, I think it's unique in Bangkok! I like to be in a quiet area and being able to reach places walking 10 minutes. The local market Thewet is not far, and the parc in Phra Athit, as well as khaosan rd. Nice river view, other guest houses I checked where called river view but where not on the river. I am happy to use the kitchen as well. I like to stand on the terrace at night and watch the beautifull bridge and the boat restaurants passing by, meeting nice people. The staff is quite nice too! Transport and location are good, many buses on samsen the road. The nearby pier is not for the orange flag boat, though. There are 2 big varans (giant lezards) living nearby, we don't see them often because they are shy, but it's really fun to see!

Good place to stay for cheap in walking distance from many attractions. Also looked after our bags after checkout. :)

The owner was very kind and helpfull, always asking if i was doing okay. Owner is a good hardworking guy, i had a great stay for 2weeks, great river view!,was very clean, hot water, very secure, and felt comfortable in the area. Lots nearby and neighbors are friendly, so atleast say hi to them in their language! Everything you need is a walk away! And great price for rooms!
