Unfortunately my stay at your hotel was one of the worst experience in my life. Absolutely everything was just terrible!! I booked the best room in your hotel. I just scare to think what could I get if I would book regular single room. On the next day I was running away from that place and now I'm leaving few hundreds meters away from your hotel, paying same price and just love my beautiful, 100% comfortable and cozy room!! Every month I drink tea/coffee and water provided by my hotel. There service is also perfect. So it's easy to understand, which hotel I would recommend to my friends. P.s.: even if I would not find my present hotel, I would shift in any other (even more expensive hotel), bcz it was absolutely unacceptable to stay one more night in your hotel. I hope my review will help to your business. All the best!!

The advantages of this hotel are location and tasty breakfast. Disadvantages are: rooms are very small. Bathroom smells very bad. Dust is everywhere. Whole night plays music, people drink and shout until 4 a.m. If you are a fun of night life welcome to Khaosan and dirty Sawasdee hotel. ))

Unlike many other reviews I found Sawasdee to be the best cheap solution in central Bangkok. The hotel is very close to Khaosan Road but located in a back alley that makes it a lot quieter than most nearby hotels. The room was small but clean and check in was very fast. Only bad note was someone playing musing through a small speaker in the room next to ours at 2am in the morning. It didn’t last longer than 15 minutes.

A very good budget friendly hotel for backpackers... I would surely recommend it for a group of friends who travel on short budgets... We have no lift in this hotel but you have a good balcony sit out road facing so take the stairs and enjoy your view

Its alright spot, music downstairs throughout the night didnt stop till 2 am was the worst part. The mattresses are abit hard too. AC Is good and staff are friendly found it clean l. Unfortunately is down a alley somewhat with a second property leading to a worst alley. If you want cheap and comfortable it's great but dont expect too much! Paid 26 euros for 2 nights between myself and the misses.

Rooms are very dirty. We saw lots of hairs on the bedsheet and pillows. The blanket is too dirty and the walls even got some big black marks like footprints. There are no lift at all and also none of the staff helped us so that we had to bring our luggage up to the 3rd floor. Since the room is being super dirty and the staffs are being so strange, we left the hotel just after few minutes. We didn't get any refund for that and in stead of that they replied that they have already clean the rooms ( even its clearly visible that the condition of the rooms can't be change just by cleaning abit coz it needs a lot of changes for the whole hotel). The photo that shown in booking applications are quite nice but according to my experiences, no one should choose this one. DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL.

This guesthouse is in quite a central location but has very cramped rooms to reflect this. Our room was also dirty with lots of things damaged inside. Yet the bed sheets seemed fairly clean in comparison. The staff were a little blunt yet helpful overall. Wifi doesn't work in the room at all just in lobby. Room was tiny bit noisy, from local clubs. Is a cheap place to stay though.

Little bit better than average expierence. The Rooms are quite Small but the Space is reasonable for the Price that we Paid (90 € for 2 Person for 5 Night). Our Room had a Bathroom with Hot Shower. All in all the room was clean, we had an own Fridge and an TV. The Door locking seemed not so safe, but every door has the possibility to lock it with an Lock that u can bring by ur own. They had a nice sitting area in the Ground Floor which was freshly painted and furnitired in Vintage Style. WLAN and Aircondition was working without problem. The Service was average, the offered free packaged drinking water everyday but the Reception refused me to use their phone (even when i offered them Money) to make a local call for a restaurant booking (I solved this problem by asking the reception of the opposite Hotel, which let me use the phone for free). U are really in the center of KhaoSan which includes Loud Music till late in the Night everyday.

Please read this review before booking here!!! Bitte lesen Sie diese Rezension bevor Sie hier S'il vous plaît lire cette critique avant de réserver ici !!! This hotel isn’t just dirty, this hotel is filthy! The staff is very rude. 1. When we checked in we showed the front desk clerk our reservation. He booked us in and gave us a key to the second floor. They have no elevator and he did not offer to help carry any of our five bags up. We went to the room and when we swung open the door we saw the dirtiest tiniest room. I thought it was the maids closet. I double checked my booking and saw I had booked the superior room. We went back downstairs to let them know they made a mistake. The boy at the front went and got what I assume was the manager and she changed our room and told him to help us move our bags down to the first floor. When we saw the room we were relieved to see it was bigger but it was dirtier than the first room. The bathroom was so small when you sit on the toilet both of your shoulders are jammed in between the wall. The walls were covered in handprints and dirt. The bathroom had mold on all of the tiles, and even the shower head had mold on it. I took photos and will attach them with my review. 2. The first morning after we checked in we needed new towels and the trash to be emptied. My husband went to the front desk at 1pm was o request housekeeping. On the door of our room it had a placard that instructed you to let the front desk know if you needed your room cleaned, they requested you wait until 13:00. After an hour my husband went and requested housekeeping again. After two more hours (4pm) I went downstairs and asked for housekeeping. I was told “Maybe not today” .... we did not get housekeeping that day. The next morning our our way out to get breakfast I stopped and talked to the front desk. I explained what happened the day before and the woman looked me in the face and said “I was working all day yesterday, you and your husband did not request housekeeping” I was shocked! Then she told me she would check and see if they were available to clean our room that evening. After a while she came back and asked for my key and said they would get to it. I’m not sure if that means they only have a single copy of the room keys. What happens if you lock your key inside? That would explain why our door frame was broken away from the wall. 3. There is nothing but nightclubs here. From 8pm-2am you will hear nothing but musics and screaming from the streets. If you’re looking to party then this hotel is super convenient but I recommend only booking here for the nights you intend to party as you won’t even be able to watch tv unless you have headphones. Yes - it’s THAT loud. 4. The room has no accommodations. No kettle, A tv that has 2 channels, no phone.... it’s just a dirty box with a fridge. They don’t have a restaurant, no room service, no coffee or tea. I ordered from food panda one night and the driver was having difficulty finding the hotel. We asked the girl at the front desk to give him directions and she reluctantly did so but gave as much attitude about it as possible. The last night there someone vomited in the hall. It was there most of the night.... right at the top of the stairs..... Consumer beware!!!

Honestly, I wish I had looked at the Google reviews before booking, as I booked through Traveloka and it didn't seem that bad. How wrong I was.. By far the dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed in, stains on the walls, stains on the sheets, the only thing that was clean was the towels (I hope!) Stayed here for 4 nights, but paid in advance so no chance of a refund. The first room they put me in had a hole in the wall (which was covered with tape), dirty walls, dirty sheets, everything. So far from the romantic place I needed for me and my other half. The shower dripped constantly and you could hear it through the thin wall between the bathroom and bedroom. The fridge leaked and we actually had to request to be moved after coming back from a day out and finding water all over the floor (it was leaking both from the bathroom into bedroom and through the wall next door). Upon moving the bed, there was heavy damp on the wall behind which was where water was coming through due to there being an air con unit on the other side. They moved us into another room on the same floor, thankfully with no water leaks, however the air con was very poor and one of the lights in the bedroom didn't work. Location wise, it's good but loud. Very close to Khao San Road although this is the reason that many people would book it for. Expect loud dance music until 2-3am and then another hour of glass smashing as the street is cleaned ready for the next day. Overall I guess it's true, you get what you pay for. Cheap but not at all cheerful. Be careful when considering booking this place, as I would have gladly paid extra for a cleaner room at a quieter place, where everything is well maintained!
