(November 2018) I stayed here for 5 days. Price wise for a single room with fan and private bathroom with hot water at 300 THB a night is wasn't bad value (other hostels in the street are looking for the same room rate but with cold water or with shared bathrooms so if you like your privacy....). The mattress was pretty firm but not the end of the world. There is hot and cold drinking water supplied which saves one quite a bit in making your own coffee or not having to go to 7/11 and buy water. Papa at reception (Indian owner?) is proud of his newly opened Indian food restaurant which is where the Tattoo shop was in the photos posted (I didn't eat here so cannot comment on food or pricing and value/quality). If you want basic and you don't want to spend a fortune you could do worse than at the Place Inn. The night action is a short walk away.

The room is comfortable and the Wi-Fi is excellent. Perfect for a solo or couple traveller on a budget. Free coffee and really chilled owners

Wrong Location at Google maps but doesnt matter, because nobody should go to this hostel. The rooms are really dirty and bad smelling. Beds are dirty too. The showers and toiletts are dirty, cold and no toilet paper. The staff is doing loud noises in the middle of the night.

The food was really excellent and fresh! We didn't have to wait long and the service was attentive. The ambiance is quite simple, yet clean. Highly recommend this spot for lovers of Indian food!

Actually it's not so worth hostel to stay in Bangkok for me because I had a bad experience of paying more for the key-deposit charge (which I didnt get the key when checking-in) while I stay, regardless its cheap price (120 bahts per night). And also, I think the bathroom should be cleaned regularly.

Its a new place opened about 3 months ago. They don't have lot of variety but food served is really good at affordable prices. Specially Kadai Paneer and Malai Kofta tasted really well. The rotis and naans are all made on tawa and are served hot.

First place we got a functional AC and a fan worked perfectly and I miss my Nepali friend who promised me and my Girlfriend 25 baht a person if we get kids. We'll be back just for that.

I spent one night there and while we were out, 100 euros have been stolen from my bag. Obviously, i asked the receptionner if someone went into our room (the personnal is logically the only one to have access), he just laughed. Careful, thiefs in here.

. The room was mouldy and dirty, there was no sink in the bathroom, the bed was as hard as a park bench, it was very noisy, the owners didn't let me have a remote to the air conditioner. The shower is just underneath the light fitting with exposed wires and was too dangerous to wash myself in there.

No smoking policy not imposed. Breakfast only made out of toast bread and jam, and you make it yourself. Tea & coffee all day. So much smoke coming into my room I don't know from which floor, I can't even write this in clear thoughts. Bins has no lids in halls, making whole building smell whatever in the bins. Hot water for drinking. Reverse osmosis machine for drinking water downstairs. Upstairs shower had electric shower but broken, had to do cold showers. In most places in Thailand here too, you don't get running hot water in toilet sink. If you can bare these, very good breakfast places just outside the road, around popular with backpackers, very close to Grand Palace or some of the popular temples. For me 3 days was too much staying at this hotel.

Lovely little Indian restaurant with superb food. It's tucked away in a small street across from Khaosan Road. We tried the Paneer Masala, Chicken Fry and Butter Naan. Everything was delicious, and the owner and staff are all extremely friendly. It's definitely worth a visit!

The food here is great, authentic indian style. One of the only places I tried out chai in Thailand and it was worth it. Prices are affordable too, and the staff was very polite and gave us directions for bus transports to different places in the city. Must try Indian restaurant in khao san.

Hot Paratha's and Indian Tea after big rain, was the ultimate experience, we could have imagined! Superb Staff, Very Authentic Taste, and Cozy place! Loved every bit of experience! Generally, I don't eat at Indian Restaurants on my trips abroad, but this was really worth trying! Recommended to all coming to Bangkok..
