Hands down the worst, most discusting, smelly, dirty and uncomfortable hostel I've been to in 11 years of backpacking. This place should be shut down so they can clean the mold out of the walls and replace the bathroom which I doubt they'll ever be able to clean the stench out of. Didn't even stay overnight...this place is a slum and DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDED FOR SINGLE FEMALE TRAVELLERS. Would not recommend for anyone.....spend an extra two dollars and go somewhere else. And don't be fooled by the many fake reviews on here made by their friends.

I booked to stay for two nights but left after one. It is more like a slum than a hostel, with worn out, dirty beds crammed into tiny rooms to which the doors don't shut. You can't wear footwear upstairs which would be fine if it was clean but the toilet floors were constantly covered in pee and there was dirt, hair and water all over the place. I didn't sleep at all due to the knackered mattress, inconsiderate long-term stayers in the room on their laptops and making noise all night, and biting sensations which the next day turned out to be bed bugs! I told the staff who said they would sort it. Apparently after giving the bed a quick spray with an aerosol can it was good for me to sleep in again the next night - erm NOPE! Instead I got the heck out, boil washed and dried all of my belongings, and moved to a new hostel nearby. The staff didn't return my money for the second night I had paid for, or apologise for the inconvenience I'd had. I feel sorry for the next person who sleeps in the bed I was in, so beware. If you like sleep, a basic level of cleanliness, safety and consideration then don't waste your time and money and stay elsewhere instead. I wish I had done in the first place.

The worst hostel I ever stayed in. The hostel is badly maintained. It's dirty and has cockroaches in the toilet and bath. It is smelly as well. The rooms are too small but they squeezed in 4 bunk beds inside, 8 people in a size of a bathroom. The aircon is not working properly at night and during the day when it is not allowed to use aircon, there is only 1 fan in the room that cannot cover the entire space, doesn't work properly because old and also very dirty. The worst situation to be in a tropical country where it's hot and humid. Also, they put me in a room where the room light is not working. Imagine a dark hole 🕳️ and you are in it. I told them about it and was told they will fix it tomorrow and I politely ask to do something about it during the day it is fine but at night? You cannot see anything. Then they just move me to the next room but the light is so dim. Plus, it's like a chicken house in a factory. Super bad. I booked for 11 nights but left the next day after a night of stay. I booked via booking.com with the payment on arrival system. I paid in cash upon arrival but when I decided to check out the next day, the receptionist didn't want to give me the rest of the money because according to him I booked on booking.com. It's paid in cash and would have been negotiated but since they are greedy they just took the money and didn't want to meet in between the situation. A perfect example of a business that only wants to earn but doesn't actually love what they do!

Don’t be fooled by all 4-5 stars reviews. This place is dirty and moldy. I paid for 5 nights already via Agoda but I did not hesitate to look for another hostel.

Filled with middle aged men, mainly Indian, who don’t know any hostel edict! I stayed for one night and had to leave for my second, just a few things that happened. Answering phone calls at 2am, room lights turned on at 1am, playing videos out loud on their phone literally all night and talking loudly early in the morning. It was a terrible nights sleep and the rooms were also quiet hot

Very bad hostel, don’t book it! They try to rip you off your money for tours. The tours cost 800 Baht and they try to sell it for 1300 baht. I would not recommend it! Absolutely not. Spent 2-3 euros more per night and book a other hostel.

Worst hostel I ever stayed in. Don't be greedy like me if you are up to European standard. And be missleaded by the photos on agoda. I survived there 2 nights, thankfully I didn't book for longer. Rooms are packed, no space to move. Bathrooms on the holloway, no soap and smelly. Just feels like a dungeon. They request 100b deposit, just thinking what I could make worse there.. But isn't located bad.

The best feature of this hostel is the price: it s quite cheap. However you get what you pay. The hostel it’s cleanish, but the dormitory is very crowded and the bed is quite small and not really comfortable. With a few more baths you can get a way better hostel in the same area. Recommend if you are really looking for a cheap accommodation. I wouldn’t stay again.

Terrible!! The building is the same awful inside and outside. Bad area, filthy bad, freaks and homeless people. Never visit this place.

The room wasn’t clean when I got in. Sheets didn’t look clean, hair on the floor. Checking lady wasn’t there upon arrival- had to wait awhile. Very poor English spoken so was hard to communicate. No bed sheet provided other than initial one covering mattress. - just warm blanket which isn’t necessary in this weather. No towel or toiletries in room or bathroom. Booked private room. You hear everything in it- from water going through pipes to people hanging in the lobby.

The least expensive hostel in Bangkok. I stayed there 6 nights and extended my stay twice. It has good community spaces and I found the temperature of the showers to be perfect. After my first booking, I left a review mentioning a urine smell from the urinals. The next day there were urinal cakes in the urinals. They really try to do a good job and correct things when they can.

Very friendly and helpful staff, But yeah as it is the cheapest place to get accomondation be prepared to find some unusual room mates, majority of people are high on drugs and never leave the hostel. Its a good and cheap place to spend the night, get a good sleep and roam around in daytime, its ideal for just sleeping at night, rooms are mixed so put some sheets around your bed for privacy purposes.

Location is just exceptional. This hostel is at perfect distance from the Khao San Road. The staff here is just lovely. The environment of the hostel is so socially good. So many people to meet and just enjoy your time in Bangkok. The rooms are also so good. They have air conditioners and every facility to make your trip great.

Worst hostel I have ever been to.. Very unprofessional staffs.. Bathrooms are not at all clean. Insufficient number of bathrooms when compared to number of guests. Beds were not comfortable either. Wifi doesn't work, works only in lobby. Staffs switches off air conditioning in the morning. Worst experience. I would not at all recommended this place to stay in bangkok.

The fan blew at full speed so close to my upper bed dorm , some beds have curtain some don’t. Shabby , the receptionist grin when I mentioned the complaint to him , and replied to me I should have closed the fan , horrible never coming back here again

Is cheap and the location is not bad. The rooms are very packed and not really clean. Just 1 toilet per floor for around 20beds. They didn’t give even a bedsheets to cover me, just the one covering the mattress. The only positive thing is the price but for that price you can find something better They provide bread, butter, banana and coffee for breakfast, that’s a positive point

I was here and I really liked it! For this small price of course you can‘t wait luxury but it was enough for sleeping, you had a shower, coffee in the morning, it was clean and people there like a family, especially don’t forget it’s locality it is a great place in Bangkok and you have everything close to you: street food, laundry, exchange office, massage, and many sightseeing

this hostel is old building like wood is so old and the most cheapest hostel in the area but if you deal with that price dont think you will get the good one , the doors are not lock so people easy come and go and there was no cctv ! you have to be carefull with your stuff , the ac is not 24 hour, its so hot in day , so many food vendors near it , you can walk to khaosan road just like 12 minute , you have to pay for towel 20 baht , this hostel good if you dont care about anything and just sleep at the night, and be carefull with you thing .

There's definitely a reason for the mixed reviews here. The place itself ain't the King's Inn, but for the market it attracts, it does a decent job. Good communal area. WONDERFUL staff. Coke and beer in the fridge for a reasonable price. No soap in the bathrooms, though. And only one toilet and one shower. Take it or leave it.

Once I stayed here. There were a lot of backpacker. Hostel provide you only bed and blankets. No towels, shampoo and soap. You have to bring your own towels or rent it. They provide breakfast (Bread banana coffee and tea; self service) not far away from Khaosan road so you can walk. The room is so tiny but with a very cheap price at least I expect the clean bed but it wasn't look clean.

The receptionist did the impossible to help me out. I wasn’t feeling safe in my room because of one roommate, and he found me another room at 10pm! I am so thankful for that! Room is comfortable. Perfect location!

Utterly disgusting hostel. The place stinks of sweat, is full of dodgy looking guests, has no locks on any doors and no lockers large enough for backpack considering anyone could walk in off the street. Regardless of having paid for a night, I left after five minutes and booked another hostel.

It was an Okay stay If you really wanted to have a very cheap accommodation and longer days in Bangkok i would recommend this for Group and kinawboy style...the cr are common. But the best thing here is you can put your bags if you will have a tour. Thank you for letting us stay

-Best for its money -Helpful staff -Fast wifi -Coffee and bread for breakfast -Tired facilities, cold water but not freezing one -You have to have your own lock for the locker, otherwise it will be open -There is no hostel vibes with everyone hanging out together, people even not answering "good morning" back, so I would say mostly for introverted people :)

You get what you pay for, more of an old school youth hostel than what a modern hostel is. Rooms weren’t great and there’s no social kind of area, location was really good though so if you don’t wanna spend any time at the hostel it might be for you

Staff very nice and friendly. Premises are absolutely disgusting. Bathrooms stink and have mold everywhere. AC gets turn off from 11 am until 6 pm. During that period, it is miserably hot. I decided to cut my stay way short and went to stay at a 5 star hotel in Phuket on thr beach ⛱️ best decision I made during my trip.

The hostel was good for the location and basic facilities like free wifi, water, breakfast. The only and most annoying issue here is the aircon timings which is 6pm to 11am. If you are here for party and enjoyment you will head out at evening + night. So, basically no ac when you actually need it which is in peek afternoon duration.

I arrived here as a solo female traveller and immediately felt unsafe to sit in the hostel reception. Way too of creepy men in large groups and the hostel was not as pictured. You get what you pay for with the low price. I don’t expect the rooms were much better but I can’t review that part fairly as I left as soon as I arrived and went to stay at revolution. The receptionist was friendly and gave me my deposit back. I really don’t recommend staying here especially if you are alone. Felt very so uncomfortable I sat at a different hostel while booking a different place to stay.

It is a good place to live in sharing with several nationalities to broaden your perspective 😀. Not recommend for family stay over there. They provide the locker to secure your expensive product, but you have to purchase your own lock 🔐 due to security reasons. You also have to take care of your own all belongings.

the level of the hostel is such that hungry people take food that is beyond their control, it should be a shame. disgusting when you go to rest, how can you then eat something that is not subject to you, if you asked, I would buy it for you, took without asking theft without asking

  • 3/5 Tanvir A. 1 year ago on Google
Inside the hostel, there is only one AC for a small room for eight people. The room size is 12*14sft. No smoking room, no eating place for dinner and lunch. Only good thing is that bed is very cheaper in Bangkok city 😏

Good location, kind employers, super cheap prices, building is ok. I have lived here for 20 days by single and it suits me. If you need a place to sleep it's good enough.

I paid the hostel for 10 nights with mixed room for 2 people, when I go checking in there is no such room conditions as I paid! I can't believe it there are only mixed room with 8 people. And the staff is not helpful at all they can't manage and fix the problem they keep blaming to their own boss and throw the problem away from them. It happened today and I feel so bad to face the hostel like this👎
