They
gave
my
room
away
to
someone
else.
I
had
booked
just
one
night
at
the
Boss’
Sathorn
Hotel
as
I
was
coming
from
south
of
Thailand
that
same
day
and
flying
early
the
next
Morning.
After
a
14
hour
journey
to
Bangkok,
quite
late
in
the
evening,
I
was
met
by
a
very
confused
staff
member
who
told
me
to
wait,
I
waited
for
a
good
30
minutes
while
he
was
obviously
trying
to
get
in
touch
with
someone.
He
then
told
me
that
the
booking
was
cancelled.
I
had
had
no
message
or
anything
indicating
it
had
been
cancelled
until
just
after
he
said
that
when
I
got
an
email
from
Agoda
saying
that
the
hotel
was
trying
to
cancel
my
booking.
So
they
sneakily
went
and
cancelled
my
booking
while
I
was
sat
there
waiting
for
my
room
that
had
been
paid
and
confirmed
days
in
advance.
So
then
quite
late
at
night
I
ended
up
having
to
walk
alone
on
the
streets
with
all
my
stuff
looking
for
somewhere
to
sleep.
As
a
female
solo
traveller
this
did
not
feel
very
nice
at
all.
I
ended
up
finding
a
place
for
double
the
price
and
in
the
end,
after
wasting
2
hours
on
waiting
for
them
to
screw
me
over
and
finally
find
a
place
that
had
a
room
available,
I
got
about
5
hours
of
sleep.
Safe
to
say
I
was
extremely
upset.
