Room and shared bathroom are clean, but it's way too loud between 8 in the evening and 2 in the morning the club next door blasts music so loud that you can barely communicate and the beds vibrate to the beat. Unless you're a party person who wouldn't go to bed anyway before 2 I would absolutely not recommend staying here. The rooms with AC are supposed to be better, but still loud. Never again.

The owner woman was ok but the ladyboy receptionist was really mean and tried to charge me 600 for a bit of nose bleed on pillow. She was a terrible person no sense of service! Many better places in Khao San I’m afraid. I won’t be returning…

It’s the bare essential of a single bed and limited shared bathroom/ toilet. No fridge, mattress like stone. Thin doors that can hear every guest coming home. Better value elsewhere.

Worst customer service as the front desk staff is so rude, the rooms are devided by card board so you can hear people chit chatting outside or next doors. 100 meter from Khao San road so you can hear the loud music until 3am in the morning. No drinking water provided and the air condition is uncontrollable. The beds are making a lot of noise. Will not come back again.

The hotel is located in the busiest streets of Bangkok i.e, in khaosan. This is the cheap hotel one can find in Bangkok and the rooms are ok. One might feel room to be too small. The share bathrooms are not commendable. The authorities can work on maintaining the shared bathrooms well. The centipedes surprise you sometime while using the shared bathrooms. Water facilities and the electricity supply is good. AC also works good. Coming to nightlife, the hotel is located in the busiest streets and the pubs and clubs pay music so loud, one can feel Disturbed all night for the loud music. For a budget backpacker, this hotel is very good to stay.

Worst costumer service i had ever seen in my life. Dirty and air conditioner is totally locked (you can not change anything even turn on or off).

My recent stay at Khaosan Hotel in Bangkok was incredibly disappointing. I can't find a single positive aspect to highlight about this experience. The rooms were subpar, with outdated furnishings and a lack of cleanliness. The noise from the bustling Khaosan Road kept me awake during the night, making it impossible to get a good night's sleep. The staff was unresponsive and unhelpful, showing a lack of interest in addressing guests' concerns. The overall lack of customer service left me feeling unwelcome and frustrated. I regret choosing this hotel and would strongly advise against staying here. There are far better options available in the area that offer better accommodations and service. My experience at Khaosan Hotel was, unfortunately, a letdown.

This hostel is right on the khaosan road but cars can’t come directly to the front door so have to carry your luggage. 300 baht security deposit and decent rooms. There’s no lift facility so the higher the floor the tougher it can be. Decent place to crash if you don’t mind to adjust.

Do not STAY in this hostel if you're up for an incredible service. We stayed in this hostel for 5 nights, booked a triple room but we were okay with what we paid for. Unfortunately, I had an argument with the middle aged lady receptionist (not the ladyboys, they were nice) on the afternoon of December 18 which was our fourth day of stay. I asked the receptionist nicely if we could leave our 5 pieces of luggage filled with belongings of our late sibling in the reception hall because we had to attend a meeting in the nearby university. We stayed upstairs and there was no lift which was okay but we were more concerned about the upcoming meeting which is why we had to request them to let us leave our luggage for the meantime. She didn't let me finish talking and wanted to charge us per bag and assumed we already checked out which in fact was not. Since she couldn't speak English, I asked the guy who managed the van service near the door to help us translate what we were trying to say. They guy didn't help and was upfront in telling us "NO, TALK TO HER NOT ME". We had no choice but to carry about 90 kgs worth of luggage and was late in the meeting which was about the death of our sibling overseas. I never complain about any service given by most hotels that I stayed at but I couldn't pass this one. We would understand if there's a policy that we couldn't leave our bags for the meantime but I noticed they accommodated white foreigners more than their asian counterparts. Also, the guy never felt any remorse for not helping us translate Thai into English the previous day but he instead had the nerve to offer us an expensive transit on the way to the airport when we checked out. To be clear, I am not unhappy that the lady receptionist couldn't communicate with us in English but what we were extremely disappointed about was the action of the GUY who REFUSED to help us UPFRONT.

Location is good but too close from speaker bass party If you have kids or want to rest, pick a hotel with parking and hotel hall not linked to loud bars on that main Animal beast crowded

Wish there was a kettle or a refrigerator so i could make some coffee, otherwise excellent value for money. Clean with AC.

Great place. Clean and cheap. Alowd us to check in early (8am). It's very noisy at night though due to the close proximity to all the bars. Take ear plugs cause the music doesnt stop till 1-2am most nights

Good points: -location, in city center. Close to party streat; - price; - reception speaks English; they advice to re-book/change a room for less noisy for available one with extra pay. Negative points: -very noisy, OK for 1-2 nights stay but not more; -air condition is working only when you are in a room; -poor bathroom.

Wi-Fi is fast, service towels and liquid body wash is available. Their toilets are clean and have heaters available. Rooms were tidy but no TV. bed is quite hard and only 1 electrical outlet in our room (triple room). Not sure with other rooms though.

This is an okay place if you wanted to save money but needs a place to stay along khao san road. The bed is not that nice and we requested for one big bed but it's still two beds when we got there. Only one outlet for charging so we need to take turns in charging our cellphone after a long night. The shared comfort room is nice but I'm just worried about how the men's and women's toilet are placed side by side. A guy can easily access the women's toilet and just say that he didn't notice the sign. The receptionist is okay. Wifi is okay.

Very decent experience staying here although I’ll say it’s not for the faint hearted. The noise coming from Kaosan road is gonna keep you awake. Till at least 3am anyway. Clean room. Good A/C and decent window. Not too shabby a place to stay.
