It was a cozy hostel conveniently located in Khaosan road. The staff are friendly, helpful, always responded promptly with questions before trip. I'd recommend if you're on a budget and looking for friendly, convenient and basic accommodations. Would stay again! Loved.

Please do not get confuse by it's Name that this is on Khao San Road. This is a Hostel by the Name of "KhaoSan Station" This is near by Soi Ram Butri street. After I spend 3 days in Funky Flashpacker I have all the right to compare a Hostel to Hostel. This wasn't as happening place as Funky Flash of Siem Reap was. This Hostel had strict house rules. But I must say that it was a well maintained place to stay. Totally Peace, Friendly Staff, clean and spacious rooms, ok type of Breakfast. Over all it was Value for Money...

This place is good for Backpackers. It has bunker beds. We stayed in a room having 4 bunk beds. Rooms are air conditioned and has one wardrobe. This place has common toilets, separate for men and women. Place of stay is clean. No drinking water provided. No safe lockers. Since it's located in busy street, the main door closes at 7pm everyday, you need to access the rear door for entry and exit at night. Bathrooms are not maintained clean. Drinking alcohol and smoking is not allowed. No outside/ outdoor footwears are allowed inside the room. Host is welcoming and friendly in check in, also help you in planning your Bangkok/ Khao San itinerary.

I don’t recommend this hostel. We left Bangkok with a heavy heart. We were saddened by how one of its attendants treated us rudely. The incident may sound shallow for some but I think posting this is appropriate since it wounded us. 4 hours before our flight back home, we decided to eat breakfast since we paid for it in the first place. We were at the lobby where breakfast was served 10 minutes earlier. Since there were others who started eating, I and my friend never hesitated to get two slices of bread and one cup of coffee each. 5 minutes later, our other friend went down to eat breakfast as well. When she found out that there were no loaves of bread left, we asked for some. To our surprise, this gay guy (attendant) responded to us in the most unfriendly way. He said that we shouldn’t be asking bread since breakfast is normally served at 7. He turned his back murmuring in Thai language, making fun at us and talking against us to other Thai guests without even explaining to us what was happening. We could tell. His gestures made us very uncomfortable. We left the lobby after that. When we went down after 10 minutes for our check-out, the mocking continued. He talked to an old lady telling something we don’t understand while pointing at one of my friends. But we all knew that it was not good through his gestures and facial expression. We were hurt. Do they have to treat their guests that way after we spent thousands of bahts for a poor service? It was so disappointing. We can afford buying bread. He should have talked to us properly whatever are the reasons behind his badmouthing.

Cheap prices but neat and clean accommodation. I took a bed in 10 beds dorm and bed was so comfortable. I was on upper bunk, still bunk beds were so strong and sturdy that they will not move or make noise, so it was comfortable for me and person staying in lower bunk. Plenty of toilets and showers. Air conditioning was chilled in humid weather. I liked simple breakfast as well. Overall, I was very happy and satisfied.

First time staying at a Hostel, but it was a great experience, that I stayed a few more days. The room I had had 4 bunk beds, which are big enough for 2 people. We shared a bathroom which had 2 toilets and 2 showers. The bathroom is clean and the water pressure is the best ever, with hot water. Just bring your own towel. Breakfast was included which was fresh fruits, coffee and breads and jams. The hosts are super friendly, always helpful and so accommodating. It was near Khaosan Road and all the attractions, which was a bonus. Meeting so many different nationalities, 👍👍

Left after one night though we'd booked several nights. Had a private room with private bathroom on the ground floor. The room was dirty, with paint peeling off the walls, mould covering the ceiling and the worst damp smell I've ever smelt. We survived one night there, but couldn't manage any longer. The corridor to our room smelt awful and there was rubbish and junk scattered everywhere. The fruit was nice at breakfast, but all else was not worth it, cheap "jam" and bread, that was it. I'm happy to stay in very basic places, but I would expect a decent level of cleanliness and maintenance. I was very surprised that this place had such good reviews. Possibly other rooms are better. The pictures looked nothing like the place and room we stayed in.

Located close to the Grand palace. Wearing footwear is not allowed in the hostel. Peaceful and clean atmosphere. Using the storage room for luggage has a nominal cost per day. Breakfast is free. Mostly consists of fruits, coffee, bread.

I had an issue with the hostel I booked, somehow I ended up at this hostel abs I had a fair experience. I stayed in double room with good rate for 4 nights. There were no cleaning service and I didn’t-ask as well.

Docking one star because the main floor smelled like a house with 5 litter boxes and 12 cats. Rest was fine. Bed was comfy enough, breakfast was good for being included in the low hostel price. It was toast coffee and fresh fruit

The bed is very spacious and clean. The service and guests there are friendly. It’s pretty clean there too. Breakfast is simple, the same every day but good (coffee, watermelon, bananas and pineapples). You can keep your food in the fridge.Very cold in the room because of the air conditioner (+24 degree).

Everything about the place is nice. Rooms, AC, peace and nice staff. You cannot smoke in the hostel and have to come out everything which was a bummer but the prices are so good in comparison to the services that you don't mind. I showed up late night without booking and owner still found a spot for me which was super nice . Just make sure your card has not stopped working while in your wallet before walking up all the floors!!

We booked a private room for three days. Ended up leaving after one night. The room smelt very badly of damp. It had damp all over the walls and ceiling. With absolutely no ventilation. The space smells quite badly of sewage after it rains from backed up drains. The lobby/common area is very messy and chaotic. The photos of the location are very out of date and do not match its current appearance. The breakfast on offer is extremely poor. For full disclosure they did offer to change our room but both me wife and I decided it was better to move on somewhere else.

Khaosan station is the best international hostel stay ive seen in Khaosan! Breakfast was solid, and i really loved that you could enter the hostel any time be it night or day, simply with your keycard. The place is very near and have a good connective reach to every famous place nearby. Hostel maintainence was very good, neat and tidy. I can suggest this hostel/stay to any kind of.people with out any issue. Highly Recommended...

Was quoted 500thb for the room like online with a 250thb deposit. When I went to checkout they changed their mind and took 550 for the room and didn’t return my full deposit. Room had mosquitoes, and loud due to road but overall clean and decent. But on floor 5 with no elevators so long walk. Bathrooms are outside the rooms and shared with no tp

Excellent place to stay as backpacker.. to view Bangkok city, nearby to all attractions and khaosan road night life.. not recommended for family .. couples is ok if you got separate room and not dorms.. but overall clean , nice breakfast, you can meet different culture people and have fun time staying there. Very friendly staff and no fuss.. enjoy!

We did not stay at the hostel, only booked a tour instead. The service for that was amazing though! The lady at the reception is extremely friendly and helpful! She even asked us later whether we had arrived safely etc. So it was just nice to see that she did not only want to earn something, but also had a great interest for everything to work out. Just lovely!

Not recommend. Reception Staff is not friendly and did not change my sheets and pillow cover even thought I asked several times so I did change it by my self. Bathroom is not clean also soap was not refill either toilet papper as well. It is cheap with Breakfast. That's it.

Incredible value for money. Free toast, coffee and bananas (no drinking water). Dorms and shared bathrooms were always clean. Fridge to store medicine. Unfortunately they don’t wash the duvets (no covers on them), they just spray them with air freshener between different guests.

Nicely located for a good price. Dorms are ok, lockers are there, bathrooms are clean, basic but everything you’ll need. Not a spot to meet a lot of other backpackers though. Breakfast is included, but be aware that it’s some fruits and toast (sadly fresh coffee is not included).

On my visit to Bangkok I stayed with some colleagues, it is a backpacker place, the rooms have a/c and it is not bad in terms of cleanliness. In the morning you have toasted coffee and seasonal fruit for your breakfast, you can also order an ice coffee at a good price. for me it was great to be there

Stayed for over a week and loved it! Host and staff are nice, welcoming and helpful if you need something. The hostel is clean, quiet but well located, not far from khaosan road. There is a buffet breakfast with lovely fruit, toast, jam and coffee, 24h reception and hot water in the room. Highly recommended :)

Stayed in private room..very small for its price..the bathroom also is very small. The lady though is very friendly and it's very close to Khao San road but far enough that you can sleep without the noise disturbing you. Breakfast served is ok.. mainly bread jam and fruits.

The hotel is very well located. Bathrooms were super clean. There wasn't escalator to get my 4th floor room. It was not good thing to count. People were rigid and scary to talk. Maybe it was my first day in the region that I didn't get used to it. To sum up, I think that there would have been nicer choieses with same positive conditions.

Stayed here 2 nights in a private room with en suite. If you're on a budget then this place is probably ok for you. If you're a flash-packer, then this is maybe more of a 2 star place and you will want to invest a few extra dollars. + Bathroom recently renovated, so in good condition and clean. + Staff friendly and chatty. + Staff let us check in early. + Let us store our bags for free after checkout. + Can walk to Khaosan road and the Royal Palace quite easily. Close enough to visit, far away enough that you don't hear the noise! + No real noise from other guests, but our room was next to the toilet, so may be noisier in high season. - Breakfast was pretty poor. Toast, watermelon and little bananas with seeds. Most basic breakfasts at least provide eggs... - Room really reflected the price. Small, basic, needed a good dust! Not somewhere to chill out. - Room could use some extra basic facilities such as a safe. - Wifi issues - kept having to log in again. - Stairs to the upper floors.

Good location, air conditioning and friendly staff. However the rooms are not nice, the bathroom is a chaos (shower on top of toilet, everything gets wet) and there were mosquitoes in the room and no bed net was provided, and the saddest part was the breakfast, they had some fruit and that was the only nice eatable part of the breakfast. The place is cheap for sure, but for the same price you may get something better.

Location wise and price wise it's great. But thumbs down for poor cleanliness. Room was not wiped and sheets were dirty.
