Had a very nice stay at PanPan Hostel Bangkok last week. It’s a cool (& clean!) little hostel in Bang Rak area, very close to Silom Road. It’s just around a 5-minute walk to two BTS/Skytrain stations (Saint Louis and Surasak), making it easy to go around the city. My room was a spacious double with a very comfy bed & cool AC, with a shared bathroom. The lobby is cozy, with a big-screen TV, a lounge area, a rack full of books to read, some board games, free all-day coffee & tea, and a travel-sized guitar that I couldn’t resist playing! No breakfast is available here (probably due to Covid), but there are plenty of choices around the hostel, from street food to cool cafés to a 24-hour 7-11 convenience store. All in all, Panpan is highly recommended!

I arrived tired having walked far. I was met with disrespect by the last kind of person one would hope to meet. I then met the owner. The owner was nasty and abusive to both myself and the guests present there. The owner also tried to cheat me - he tried to sell me a room at double the online price.

A fantastic stay with all of the amenities: free laundry(!), teas&coffees, games (scrabble, cards) and even a free book swap shelf where I managed to pick up a book that I had been after for 3 months! Such luck! Bedroom was comfortable & showers were hot with good pressure. Also close to transport links and within walking distance of the King Power Tower & Icon Siam. What made this stay even better was the kindness shown by the owner (May) with a mix up of my clothes. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for somewhere comfortable to stay in Bangkok. ✨

We moved to this hostel due to its convenient location and the excellent reviews. I have to say I am very very impressed and pleased with this place. After staying one night near the Khao San Road, this is the perfect place for us to rewind and relax. The neighbourhood is so quiet and the rooms are so nice. It has a shared bathroom but since it is low season, we didn't even see anyone around so it was like our private bathroom. The people at the reception are so nice and polite and the prices are so cheap that it is totally worth your money! I totally recommend anyone to stay here.

The hostel is in a great location to catch the sky train, bus or grab cab. It's nice, quite, clean, air-conditioning, roof top accessable, laundry, water, fridge, toaster and complimentary tea and coffee. Lockers are huge! The beds are so clean. The lady working there was super nice. We had to catch a train a day earlier than planned and she gave us a refund for the day we had to leave. I would definitely recommend and stay again. It's close to food as well.

Great location and super nice staff. Unfortunately the single rooms are very basic and really bright in the morning so I couldn't sleep in. I did appreciate the service, and the price is low. But proper window blinds and some touches inside the rooms would go a long way.

Great hostel. It is light and clean. They say that breakfast isn't included, but the whole day there is free tea/coffee and toast available, so that makes a fine breakfast (or dinner when necessary!). Also you can hand in three pieces of laundry for free every day.

Had a really good stay at PanPan. Very clean rooms with shared toilet and bathrooms. Lobby is very homely with bread and jam along with tea/coffee for breakfast and best part - free laundry service (limits apply). Owner was very down to earth and gave us a lot of information about things to do around the area. BTS is about 7-10mins walk. Highly recommended and would stay again.

This is the best hostel that I can recommend with anyone who wants to stay for a vacation silom bangkok..very organized, neat clean and all stuff that you need are there. System inside the hostel is very organized. Most of all, services are very GOOD. They have free laundry, free computer surf, free coffee bread and jam, TV etc. And owner is very friendly and accommodating to the guests. They treated us like a family though we are just strangers which I appreciated them most. I will surely stay with them again once I visit for the next songkran :)

Great way to meet fellow travelers. Reasonably clean. Felt comfortable leaving most belongings unattended and unlocked. Was a reasonably comfortable hostel and what you'd expect out of a hostel in Bangkok. Complaints: hot water very sensitive. Can only run A/C after 5 PM. Says breakfast is provided but it's merely bread and jam. 40 baht to run the washer is a bit steep. Not confident that the sheets are washed after every stay, although I saw no evidence that it was for sure the case.

Clean rooms with with the basic necessities covered. The beds are very comfortable and the AC in the rooms worked great. Free toast and coffee for breakfast, nothing fancy but a good option to start the day. They have very cute toast holders.

Cost, clean hostel with very friendly staff! Thai family run! Free coffee, tea, toast & jam all day! Clean, well equipped kitchen. Awesome location for surrounding food markets. From Silom nothing seems to far to reach!

I enjoyed my stay here. It was almost perfect. If there is one thing I wish was better it would be the AC on the 3rd floor dorm. Besides that everything was great. They have a good common area with a large screen TV. Bathrooms are good. Appreciate the hairdryers and toiletries provided for guests. Beds are good. Curtains would have been nice for privacy. Decent location with restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Very friendly and helpful staff. Overall a very pleasant experience.

I first came to Pan Pan hostel back in 2015. It quickly became my place of choice whenever I visit Bangkok, which is generally about 3 times a year. It is conveniently located about 10 minutes walk from Surasak BTS. Silom Rd with lots of shops, hotels etc is only a few minutes walk away. Plenty of eating and drinking options nearby and the Myanmar embassy is just around the corner. The best thing about Pan Pan are the lovely couple who run it. Very friendly, knowledgeable about Bangkok and Thailand and helpful. Nothing seems to be too much trouble. Pan Pan is very well run. The beds are, by hostel standards, really comfortable and it is kept very clean and tidy.

The place isn’t easy to find, it is located in a small alley. My big luggage only can put it at the first floor, because it is too heavy to take it upstairs, there’s no elevator to help, and the stairs is steep and narrow. However, the bedroom is quite nice, it’s comfortable and cheap!
