Location, accessibility, and friendliness are perfect. The owner is so kind. The only thing I took off one star is having to climb stairs and the bathroom? Is the shower room a bit scary for a woman to use? High precision? The first room I had was one without air conditioning, so I asked to change it, and they responded kindly. The rest was so-so. It's also fun to see Thai locals busy in the morning. They also tend to look into tours well. Good for playing and eating!

The staffs was really kind to help me book the bus ticket. The hostel is located in perfect are. There is a local market nearby opening during day time. 5 minutes walk to Khaosan street to discover the nightlife. However, the price is quite high compared to others. The breakfast was not really good as it's included. Don't use the laundry service as it's expensive and not really good. I only had a T-shirt and a short pants, but the receptionist said that "it's 1kg for both". How nonsense it was!

Update: Apparently they lie that they never had bed bugs before, but several other reviews proof them to lie. The friendly seeming staff just seems friendly apparently. Better avoid this place! Unfortunately I have to share our unpleasant experience with this hostel. We booked 2 nights, staff was friendly and let us check in a little early as well. Room (double room, one bed) seemed fine, bit much noisy towards street, maybe earplugs necessary but should be fine. Then at midnight we had a bed bug crawling in our bed. First experience with bed bugs for me. My girlfriend and me googled and figured we wanna be discret as it may not be the hostel's fault. The lady for the nightshift just sent us to a super tiny twim room without door, just a curtain and a bunk bed squeezed in. Sheets were not clean and under the sheet we found and egg possible bed bugs too. Was a terrible night in that room, super noisy fan. Next morning we keept beeing dirscret and asked for what we should do and if we should wash our clothes before moving room. They showed no interest in that and even though they have washing machines we could not use them as they are not for the guests. We have to go to a laundry service and pay. Pretty unprofessional how they handled it we thought. When they sent us to another double room, we found another bedbug walking under the sheet right away. We told them and they said we should move to a different location then and get the 2nd night we booked refunded. No refund whatsoever for the first night in that twin room which has the same price as the way bigger and better double room. We moved then to a different place and washed our clothes on our cost. We are not mad at the hits hostel, as they are friendly, but the place currently needs better cleaning and problem solving management.

Exterior is looking old. But internal is all new and having nice atmosphere. Cool mood. Beds are comfy with good AC. Especially the owner&staffs are very kind and friendly. Extremly recommended. Do not miss Free breakfast.

It was a little difficult to find it since the outside is full of street shops that make it difficult to see with the naked eye. Area very close to kao san road but far enough away from the night noise. Their employees are very friendly. The rooms have air conditioning. The bathrooms are shared but there is 1 on each floor.

Very small room and not really clean. The toilets were okay, but it is very hot there. There is no toilet paper, which is probably common in Thailand. Breakfast consists of toast, butter and you can choose freshly prepared egg dishes every morning. The location is great! Not too busy, but still close to Kaosan Road.

Pretty comfortable bed, a locker right at the bed, a curtain so you can get some privacy. It was quiet at night. The staff are very nice, Apple at the reception super friendly and helpful. Breakfast officially starts at 7 but on the morning I was leaving the lady who makes breakfast came earlier so I also got fried eggs not only corn flakes.

Friendly and accommodating staff, very easy to talk to. Cheap prices for beds but very clean and decent. Very close to Khaosan road but not too close that it's quiet enough at night and you won't have to suffer the rambunctious revelries. I booked a whole room since there were 4 of us and they gave us the 5 person room instead since it wasn't booked and it was on the 2nd floor (less flight of stairs to take). Breakfast is okay and consists of your choice of bread and spread, and/or cereal, and eggs (however you want it cooked, just ask the lady cooking). They let us use their plates and utensils when we decided to buy take away, and they wouldn't even let us clean the kitchenware we used by ourselves.

The rooms were fine, beds comfy, however we weren't allowed to bring in food. Socializing area out the front was average but the large mattress was a nice touch. As was the free breakfast. I didn't have time to meet alot of people there but I was in a 4 room dorm rather than a 10.

Very clean, air conditioning in dorms, breakfast good, complimentary tea and coffee all day. WiFi available in dorms also. Well worth the little amount we paid. Allowing us to keep luggage there after checking out a bonus too.

3.5 stars. We got a queen bed private room. next to a street near Khoasan Rd and could hear the chatter outside but not see it (privacy window). No channels on the TV. In general, I have found the TV's pretty much unwatchable at most hostels. Shared bathroom with soap and shampoo provided. Can hang clothes to dry from the roof with hangers provided. Really good breakfast for a hostel. Omlete made for you. Also had toast, jam, coffee, tea, and orange juice provided.

Great clean hostel. Stayed here 2 nights. Saturday night the staff invited us to eat dinner with them which was delicious. The front desk was helpful and honest about booking train tickets (they recommended we buy them from the station directly rather than them to save money). A++

Bed bugs! We checked in to a double room in 4th floor and first impression of the place was ok. The room was small with a window which you couldn’t look outside, and a bit noisy from the street. When we were going to bed around midnight, we saw a bed bug running across the bed. When we checked the mattress we also found something that could look like eggs. We talked to the staff and she gave us a twin room. We checked the mattress there also, and found the same type of egg, but we chose to stay since it was so late already. The next morning they gave us another double room, but we found another bed bug running around when we checked the mattress. They told us then we would have to find another place to stay. The staff said they’d never had bed bugs there before, and that they would get some people to look at it, but they seemed rather relaxed about it and didn’t even take a look at the bed themself. I would not recommend this place cause it seems rather dirty. The owner was friendly though with suggesting other hostels we could stay at.
