Uncomfortable beds. Some customers live in the hostel shared rooms. Pretty clean common areas. Receptionist was strict, uptight and anxious. Strangely off-putting; not a very welcoming atmosphere. They asked for more paperwork and documentation than anywhere else that I've stayed. There are better hostels to be found in Bangkok better prices.

We stayed at the Loftel 22 for 3 nights and we really liked it. It is clean and comfortable. There is a Cafe inside where you got tasty coffee and other drinks. The staff was helpful and friendly. Also the area around is interesting. Not far from the hostel you can get the bus or boot to get where ever you want. Thanks!

Fantastic hostel at a very reasonable price! Incredibly tight but relaxedly run ship at Loftel22. Great room, helpful staff, nice cafe and excellent location. Check out the clips on YouTube (in Thai but give a good feel for the place). They also have a couple other hostel options in the vicinity as well. Will definitely be a return visitor!

One of the best hostels in Thailand! The design is industrial retro; very hip. The staffs are helpful. The location is near Metro and Boat Station, next to 711 minimart, walking distance to the vibrant China Town and several temples. Best value for money!

We book a double private room. It's located at 5th floor. May be dorm rooms be lower floor, more convenient, but not private room. Quite hot, the A/C has broken at night. But the staff very polite and helpful, change a another room quite fast. 3 stars for overall experience + 1 star for helpful staff.

Perfect little hostel. We stayed there for a week in a double room with aircon, and with bathroom facilities shared with only 2 other rooms on the floor, so it was never occupied. Also, hostel has a nice rooftop terrace. It's pretty close to Chinatown and there are lot of options to grab a meal from the street vendors who make authenthic thai food for good prices.

Really nice boutique style hostel. Great in room wifi and nice AC. About a 10 minute walk. Staff WA not very informative about getting around using public transit, always pushing taxis. Common room and cafe are shared.

Excellent location and priced right. Staff very helpful. Only slight point as to say 4 bed dorm area quite cramped. Otherwise a decent venue.

I book a bed in a dorm because I need a few hours to refresh before my next flight. I checked in late. Although the hostel says that they have 24h desk, i found no one and had to wait 2 or 3 hours before someone shown up. The mattress is hard. Guest has to share bathrooms and they are not clean (even in the morning). If you have problem with handling heavy luggages, this hostel might not be the choice for you.

This hostel is super convenient to access and has amazing helpful staff available on premises. The rooms are really tidy and the beds comfy. Each of the dorm rooms have 4 beds (2 bunk beds), there isn’t much room inside of the sleeping area so they supply lockers (see picture) for the storage of bags. And above you in the sleeping area they have ‘safes’ for you to store the more valuable items. Make sure you bring a lock or they do also have some available for 50Baht per lock. The cafe also has some nice breakfast meals available, however it is quite expensive compared to meals you can get other places.

It's very comfortable and also a good way to visit Thailand, is good for small groups (I went with 3 friends) and also it has nice dormitories, I guarantee that you'll enjoy the place

A perfect place for a comfortable and inexpensive stay. The place was super clean and very well maintained. Nice people in and around making it a really good stay. Even though its a hostel with external bathrooms, they have good number of bathrooms and with close proximity hence almost feels like a pvt flat. The neighborhood is also really good as its very close to China Town and all the major touristy places in BKK. We had hired bi-cycles from Loftel itself for local sight-seeing and travel. Would strongly recommend this place.

I did not have the best experience here. After the air conditioning exploded and having to be moved rooms by a very reluctant grumpy man I was bit to shreds by bed bugs and a week later I’m still covered from it. The area is by China town but has very limited food and drink places nearby, I would recommend staying in Khaosan (which is where we went next). The highlight of staying there was it was by the river which offers a free boat to the most insane shopping centre with a beautiful water show (that looked incredible at night) I think the times were 8.20 or 9.30 in the evening.

This hostel is easy to find. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite standard small for a hostel. We slept in a four bed room with 2 bunk beds, AC and a little box with a lamp for each bed. They provide you with a towel and a blanket. It was very noisy though, I thought I kept everyone at the same level awake because of my coughing during the nights. Shared toilets (2) and showers (2), at least on the highest floor and they also have a outdoor "hangout" area. They also have a "women's level" below. Free drinking water, computer service and luggage scale near the reception. Coffee shop with lighter meals and breakfast are also provided. 7-eleven is your neighbour. Walking distance to Chinatown, appr. 5 -10 min.

Pretty nice hostel. Reception is very kind and helpful. There is also a nice café in the entrance where you can hang out and drink coffee/beer. The dorm rooms are alright, though the doors are almost always unlocked. Two showers and two toilets, never really busy there. The rooms have a wall that doesn't go all the way down, so you can hear people snore from the other room.
