It’s
a
good
hostel
with
a
lot
of
footfall,
too
much
actually-
that
has
its
pros
and
cons.
Taxi
sharing
and
lot
of
activities
are
pros.
Don’t
even
dream
of
checking
in
a
minute
early
if
your
there
earlier
than
3pm,
they
simply
don’t
let
you
do
it.
There’s
a
little
space
for
luggage
storage,
maybe
for
10-15
bags.
When
the
clock
struck
3,
there
were
about
20
people
queuing
with
a
200THb
cash
deposit
to
check
in
on
a
fine
July
Thursday,
and
about
50
bags
to
jump
across
to
get
to
your
bag
cos
you
reached
earlier
in
the
morning.
Until
the
checkin
we’re
allowed
to
use
the
common
spaces,
Wi-Fi
and
restrooms.
The
common
room
couch
becomes
the
homeless’
bed.
They’re
located
very
close
to
Khao
san
road
and
so
it’s
very
accessible
to
the
night
markets
and
also
the
morning
service
from
Lompraya.
However,
almost
0
public
transport
reaches
anywhere
a
kilometre
close.
The
closest
place
to
get
a
bus
is
democratic
monument
I
guess.
They
sell
water
bottles
instead
of
having
a
water
filter.
Business
triumphs
sustainability
still😥Wi-Fi
passwords
are
printed
on
tiny
bits
of
papers
and
shared
with
everyone
who
wants
it-
another
waste
of
resources.
Stayed
a
night
in
the
double-bedded
dorm
cubicle,
quite
a
nice
concept.
It’s
basically
a
double
decked
metallic
frame
with
about
4’
of
head
room
with
a
nice
thick
mattress
and
blanket,
two
storage
cabinets
or
three,
4
power
sockets
and
two
warm
lights
in
an
air
conditioned
dorm
room,
each
with
nice
thick
curtains.
The
number
of
toilets
in
a
floor
to
the
occupants
might
feel
to
be
a
bit
low
during
peak
hours.
Would’ve
appreciated
to
get
two
key
cards
for
two
guests
as
it’s
required
to
open
the
dorm
door
and
also
keep
power
in
the
cubicle.
The
beds
and
comforters
were
very
comfortable,
temperature
was
slightly
warm
initially
as
many
of
the
guests
used
to
keep
the
dorm
room
open,
but
was
very
pleasant
later
in
the
night.
The
pool
was
a
small
one,
good
for
10-15
people
to
just
hang
around
in
it,
hardly
10m
long
and
a
few
meters
wide.
Didn’t
jump
in,
but
apart
from
a
few
leaves
and
twigs,
the
water
looked
fine.
They
have
an
in-premise
bar
selling
Chang
on
the
tap
for
THB90/pint
equivalent
and
a
few
other
hard
liquor
options
as
well.
So
outside
alcohol
isn’t
permitted.
Outside
food
however
is
allowed
in
the
common
area.
There’s
a
7-11
very
close
to
the
hostel.
The
reception
is
24/7
and
refund
of
the
deposit
was
instantaneous,
so
had
absolutely
no
trouble
checking
out
at
5.30am.
Overall
I’d
appreciate
if
the
check-out/check-in
policies
are
made
a
little
more
friendly,
and
stop
selling
more
plastic
bottles-
you
may
charge
for
filtered
water
per
liter
or
so,
but
please
consider
having
an
alternate
to
forcing
guests
to
have
to
buy
water
bottles
during
their
stay.
