Silom Space Hostel originally I was planning to stay for few days. I really enjoy location cos cross the street they have central park. It's located close to embassies and official offices of banks and companies. I really excited cos they have roof space where I did workout. Good idea to make co-working and kitchen with free coffee and tea. Room was clean and box for personal things has a space. Team who work here amazing. So I m trying to say I will be back and thanks a lot for your work

Awful experience. I stayed two nights. Both nights I had trouble sleeping, as the loud music and partying next door was constant and disruptive. In addition, there were two friends who returned to the dorm at 4:30 AM and disrespectfully talked out loud as if they owned the room. There is no visible sign asking people to keep quiet in the dorm, nor does staff advise guests – upon checking in – to refrain from talking in the dorm as anyone could be trying to rest or sleep. With regard to staff, there’s an older lady at the counter who is awful and rude. I had asked for the Wi-Fi password (which was not given to me at check in). She then asked me for my room number, and when I couldn’t recall it and looked for the keys — she visibly got angry widely shaking her head as if I had committed a sin. I find it funny that someone like her would have high expectations of people when she runs a sloppy operation, and she herself is poor-mannered. She’s the first rude Thai person I’ve met across multiple visits and interactions with locals. Other reviews speak to the same rude lady, so it’s unfortunate she’s a problem that will remain. Go elsewhere; there are other better options at this price point.

Excellent location, very busy around the area and lots to do. The hostel is very quiet considering how central it is. Communal area very relaxing. Room was very clean with nice bed sheets. The mattress was firm but comfy. Lots of Plug sockets. Massive shower head with strong water flow. The decor might not be to everyone's taste but all in all I enjoyed my stay here.

Price is great, location is great. Common areas are clean. Only issue is my bunk/bed is full of mold. **update: mold allergy kicked in. Been coughing like crazy. No change of room available

4 stars for this hostel. Beds were comfy and clean. Ac in mixed dorms was working well but in the female dorms it wasn't. The hostel is clean and well maintained in general but the washrooms can get dirt sometimes depending on traffic and the management overlooks it. Only 1 washing machine and 1 dryer. The service was nice and the location was awesome but it can get a little noisy on the weekend with the music coming from a near by club. We slept well through it though.

Very recommended on this hostel. Snack, coffee, tea and mama noodle provided free 24 hours. Morning extra provided baking bread, milk and orange juice. It is guest house style, no TV at room, room small but if compare to other guest house, it should be 4 star. The place is very convenience, near to BTS and MRT. Not need to worry about food at morning or night. If you're looking for guest house, I am sure you will like it. Recommended.

The hostel could be improved for more comfort. The biggest gripe was the hard bed. It felt like a pad on a hard floor. The single most important aspect of a hostel is the bed in my opinion, and when this isn't sufficient, nothing else matters. They do offer free coffee, noodles and water, and the showers were great, but you spend most your time sleeping when at any hostel. The outside noise is another factor, though that's more out of their control. I could hear traffic and people outside almost all night AND I was wearing earplugs with a noise cancelling headset. So it was quite difficult to get a good night's sleep.

Nothing to complain about and surprisingly quiet considering its location. I'll more than likely keep returning here for my future visits. They offer free drinking water, packet noodles, teas and coffees, and have a washing machine for 40baht. It's pretty great.

The bathroom is always clean. But there was no hot water. There is a lot of food around and the location is really good. The most serious problem with this hostel is the smell in the room. It smells like old mold and disgusting urine. The smell was really so bad that I couldn't stand it and my clothes smelled later.

Fantastic location if you're looking for LGBTQ nightlife. BEWARE though, I love going out dancing but DJ station was so packed on a Monday night that I didn't bother going back for the rest of my week here. The 15 minute walk radius has multiple shopping malls, food, travel agencies, parks. Train station is right here too though I never used it. The hallway entrance does smell like vomit all the time though because of DJ station. But the hostel itself is quite clean & tiny. Highly recommend a lock!!! Note: the elevator locks from 12am-7am. If you arrive outside of those times like I did, you'll have to call or hope someone is entering or exiting. You can't walk up because it's locked from the 3rd floor (spa) and up. *I wish I knew this.

going as a solo. This hotel is located in very strategic area, near both BTS and MRT station. Easy to looking for affordable food and entertainment. Going up by elevator which is a plus. The staff also really helpful to bring your luggage to the room. Cozy common space, free water and mama noodles (heaven for me), clean toilet and bedroom. Provide towel and padlocked without additional charge. Hairdryer is not the best tho, but it's OK. My concern is the bedroom door is using the traditional chain locked instead of card system. I accidentally went to the wrong room since their room isn't locked. Next to the hostel is DJ Station Club, in my opinion, you could hear their music until the female dorm but it's really small so it doesn't really bother me. Overall, it was a really nice stay. Will definitely back again~ Shekakigatal

I never thought a bunk bed is a place to be relaxed. This place changed it..Though outside area is a party area, my stay I was peaceful, clean, relaxing, and quiet.

A decent option for those traveling on the cheap (we stayed in the double room with private shower), although since there's a nightclub directly underneath the hostel, I would probably avoid this hostel if you're sensitive to low-frequency noise like I am (I do realize this isn't really the hostel's fault). The location is very convenient with easy access to both a MRT and BTS station, and many nearby malls (although the area nearby seems a little sketchy) and the room was quite clean.

Perfect location, with easy access to Lumphini Park, street food, BTS (sky train), MRT (subway), and bus station. Really appreciated that they have free filtered water, ramen, tea and instant coffee always available!

Such a nice and warm place to stay in the very central area in Bangkok. The transportation is super convenient just right by the BTS sky train Sala Daeng or MRT Silom station (less than 5 mins walk). There are common space open for 24 hrs, and don’t worry about food, there are plenty of food stalls 24/7 near by, also an air conditioned food court, 7-11, KFC and many more! The room is clean and comfortable, reasonable with the super cheap price. The boss and the staffs are very friendly, helpfully, polite and welcoming. This is my very first time here, but I will come back for sure! If you are looking for a comfortable place with reasonable price and good services, Silom Space Hostel is very recommended. :’)

Phenomenal. Clean, quiet, comfortable, and superb location. Only 2 mins walk away from Silom BTS and opposite Silom Complex shopping mall. There are two other malls nearby, along with multiple fast food restaurants, restaurants, pubs, and massage joints. I got the double room that had a single and another loft bed and an ensuite toilet. Well worth the price. There's a communal pantry with a fridge, microwave, water cooler, and utensils to share. There's also a shared washer and dryer. Highly recommend this to travelers on a budget.

After trying 3 other hostels in BKK this one is my favorite! I ended up staying 3 weeks! This one has a woman-only toilet, a little thing that others didn't have and I feel is so nice to have. It has a great space for eating, meeting and leptoping. Has free water and coffee. Even free instant food. The staff is super nice. Toilets are cleaned at least twis a day, maybe more. Very clean place. The roof is cozy and also a nice place for sitting with coffee and a laptop. Have free towels and no deposit for keys. The location is awesome, right next to the blue line subway. The best coffee spot is 7 min walk. Also, the Lumpini park is 5 min walk. So nice to be close to it for some sports. The dorms have big luggage lockers and small lockers outside of the room. Also have big current for privacy. You do need to have earplugs here as it's on a busy club and road, but! I am hypersensitive and for some reason, it didn't bother me at all.

This hostel is really superb and nice. The location is perfect, closed to BTS&MRT. Staffs are very helpful and facilities are full options. You cannot find others at the heart of Silom in Bangkok with this price. I always stay here when I visited Bangkok. The price is range from really budget in dorms with bunk beds, to the private rooms with nice and cosy.

I had a private room. Great value, nice location, and really nice room setup. Good bathroom facility too. Lounge area provides a nice atmosphere and tea/coffee all day. A bit more than just toast provided for breakfast too. Only problem was it was quite noisy from the street below.

Great hostel, superb location! Staff was very friendly. I was here with my parents. Downstar is a very common gay bar but the room was quite. They provided free instant noodles, water, cafe for the whole day.

Do not recommend. I always stay here for many many times but the receptionist changed a month ago. The receptionist woman Aor is very rude and never kind. She treat us like lower standard words and always angry.

This hostel is definitely no-frills but worth it. One downside for me would be the entrance. If you come in at night, you'll be mixed in with the crowd going partying downstairs. Good thing the noise doesn't come up to the hostel floors.

perfect location just in the middle of Silom area, there are also free coffee sachet, creamer and Mama instant noodles. This is my second time coming here, awesome!

Very fresh and clean hostel. Good WiFi, nice common area with free cookies, drinking water and instant noodles. The neighborhood is good if you're here to party, not super children friendly I would say.

Despite located next to dance club, you can hardly hear any noise in the room. The lobby is a lively area with plenty of large bean bags, seats , free cookies and filtered water around the clock. Private room sleeps 3; very clean with toilet. It would be perfect if they can provide more than 1 set of keys

The room is good, but I got COVID-19 from this hostel. There is one guy in our dorm keep coughing all day, then I have gotten COVID-19 symptoms days after and now my whole trip is ruined. The management shall check their temperature and/or asked everyone to do test before allow anyone to check in.

Stay at private room. The bed is comfortable. Shower has strong pressure and hot. You get free water and instant noodle. Very convenient as very near to 2 subway lines and many good food nearby and shopping malls.

Located in the heart of Bangkok, I really enjoyed my stay there, everything was a walking distance around it. The staff were really helpful, I had a private room. Super clean & cozy. They serve coffee & noodles 24/7. There are weight scales for the luggage. Awesome place 🙏

You pay what you get. Clean, okay service The hostel is close to party place so there were some noisy customers when they came back, but it's not hostel fault.

  • 4/5 Court H. 1 year ago on Google
A very decent hostel offering free tea, coffee and ramen noodles. There is a decently sized lobby area with free wifi, tables and chairs, and bean bags for lounging. Only downsides: bed is very hard and there's no parking area for motor bikes.
