Came to Bangkok for a night to do *shopping* (cause why not!? Lol 😂) booked a hostel nearby the famous shopping mall in Pratunam area The Central World. The room is not big but very comfy for 500 baht a night. If you’re a back packer and planning to stay in Bangkok alone or with friends then you can give it a try to stay here. The place is clean and the staffs are friendly.

Great hostel at a strategic place. Very near to go to almost all the hotspot in Bangkok using grab. The caretaker is such a friendly and welcoming lady and make you feel right at home. The rooms and toilet are clean and comfortable to be used. The next time I'm in Bangkok, I will definitely choose this budget hostel!

Pretty good value. Stayed in a single room which was similar to a dormitory but without bunks and with solid walls and lockable doors for each bed. The space is narrow but it's good to have a private bed. Warning to tall people, my bed was less than 6'3" / 193cm.

Situated right beside Pratunam market, the hostel is surprisingly very quiet despite the noise outside (and also right in the middle of "massage street"-came downstairs and immediately we have a variety of massage parlours to choose from! The hostel owner is very friendly and made us feel very at home in the space. The rooms are very clean as well with room cleaning every 3-4 days (I stayed here for 7 days). Overall I'm very satisfied with the hostel for a budget trip to Bangkok. Would recommend for budget travellers who want to stay in private rooms (with shared bathrooms)!

Super lovely staff. Was able to get a room for just a few hours in the afternoon. Perfect to grab a shower and catch up on sleep during a stopover. I’ll be staying here again for sure.

Bed was very hard, I like that but my fiance did not. Rooms very noisy and we had to share the A/C with our neighbours. Good location, friendly staff.

I stayed for 4 nights, the room was clean & staff was really friendly & helpful. The price is worth for staying here. The hostel is also close to Platinum mall & pratunam market. They also asked 200 baht for deposit and they returned the money after I checked out.

Overall a nice place in a good location. The rooms are clean (the lobby area not so much). It is a big room divided into smaller (very small) rooms, which is a nice combination between dorms and private room (a cheap small room, but with a door that gives you privacy). Although, every little noise someone makes sounds clearly in all the other rooms, and the light from other rooms can be distractive.

I love the place they structured the room. Instead of bunk beds, a separate room with private space is more comfortable. They offered a blanket, towels, shower cream and shampoo. The private room and shared bathroom are pretty nice and clean. The rooms are large enough to fit you and a few items. So, I would suggest leaving your luggage on the ground floor. It’s also frustrating that it doesn’t have stairs. So, if you get a room on the upper floor, be prepared to climb steep, several stairs. 🥵 I would suggest writing more detailed instructions for the guests. If you don’t want the guests to open the door (the dormitory door, not the private door), please post it on the door. So the staff does not need to come up and tell the guests. Reply to "Response from the owner": Thank you for the response. Google Reviews do not allow me to directly reply to you. I totally understand the point you made. Your explanation of the stairs is very reasonable. However, I am not that persistent in opening the door. I instantly accepted when you told me "I cannot do that". But the way you communicate that message with me should not be that harsh. That's all I am saying. All the best.

The staff is incredible! They are thoughtful, sweet, and accommodating. I felt very taken care of. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Water for sale in the hostel, as well as local fruit always available in the lobby. The beds are a little hard for my taste, but someone else might love that! The location is perfect, tucked away in between two excellent coffee shops, 7-11, and massage parlors. Taxis and tuktuks are abundant and ready to pick you up at any moment. Highly recommend and would love to come back.

It was horrible!!! My first time…. First day trip was destroyed. I booked 29 Nov to 2 Dec 3 nights 4 days at Micro hostel in Bangkok. I arrived at DMK airport at 1:30 am 29 Nov . I was waiting at airport until sunrise to go to hostel. Coz I went there solo and first time. So I scared to take the taxi in the middle of the night. When I reached at the hostel it was around 8:00 am and some of the Filipino guests are having breakfast at table. And I texted messages to the micro hostel’s WhatsApp and asked that is possible to check in earlier or not . I know my check in time is 2:00 pm . But I need to shower and rest a while. If the hostel got room available for early check in I’ll pay for early check in fees . After a few minutes later, one of a woman come down and told me that can’t check in and no available room. She welcome me pull the long face and frown . And asked me “ why don’t you come yesterday? ( it means 28 Nov ) why you never replied and confirmed the booking? ( I did replied every message and I did confirmed and send messages confirmation appointments ) . She so freaking rude the way she asked me . OMG ! I was shocked! I told her that I wasn’t book 28 Nov . So why would I come 28 Nov? . I thought she was miss with somebody. However, she may not able to treat that way to guests. I don’t believe that guests are always right. But I’m not a bad guest for sure . During our conversation I told her that can I shower now ? Is that ok ? I did asked more than 3 times said that can’t shower. So ok I’ll pay for 3 nights hostels fees and can I leave my luggage? Then first, she told me that can check in 2:00 pm then she said again can check in 2:00 pm over … it means can’t check in if I come back to hostel exactly at 2:00 pm . I so disappointed and went into the toilet and changed my clothes. Then I decided not to stay 3 days in the horrible hostel. I cancelled my 2 days booking. I stayed 1 night only. I went there coz I read good reviews. But for me definitely wrong. I’m not gonna recommend to stay in this hostel .

The plus side: affordable single private room in Pratunam area with toiletries, towels, hairdryer, all day tea/coffee, free breakfast of bread and jams, refillable water, shared microwave, laundry service, luggage storage and in the middle of 2 Airport link station and also BTS station, location is surrounded by spa, 24hr minimarket and little cafes and hawker food nearby, friendly staffs, one of the staff have perfect English and ready to help. The down side: small space, thin wall, No lift and the single private room located only at the top floor (4th and 5th fl.), lobby is cluttered with too many luggages and owner stuffs, it's not really near to the station and with Bangkok weather is excruciating to walk long distance , the so called woman's area have no privacy to dry your hair or brush your teeth since it's in public area.

For a budget traveller, this is a good place. It is very basic, with shared shower and toilets. The single rooms are cabin structured and just enough to squeeze in a single bed. The stairs are steep up to the 6th floor, so makes the climb up the top floor quite a task. The staff are super friendly, and extremely helpful, and goes out all the way to find the best deal tours around bangkok and pattaya. Seven 11 is located just a block away so your basic essentials are taken care of. Micro Hostel is located very close to Platinum mall and Indra Square. If you are looking for a budget stay with minimal facility, this is the place.

The rooms and dorms need stairs on upper level. No breakfast. I thought i would be staying in a room however it was just a cabin with open ceiling for aircon. There were 6 such cabins in one room. Pretty tight and the guy next to me snored like crazy, never heard anything as loud as that. The location however is great for shoppers in pratuman
