This place attracted us with its fun yet sophisticated atmosphere. We visited twice, the first time stopping for spritzes, then the next day for lunch. Staff is friendly and attentive. We ordered a salmon filet, a pizza margarita, and spritzes again. The pizza was perfect. The salmon was moist inside, crunchy outside, and it was paired with roasted vegetables beautifully glazed in lemon sauce. Highly recommended.

I want to like Viva Aviv so much - but I just can't. Their team is one of the longstanding Bangkok shakers and movers, running awesome indie places with lots of character since 20 years, defining the music scene when there was none. But this river location, despite being super nice with views etc - feels just overpriced. Sorry to say it and I'm sure the rent is tough on them, but I'll leave it to the tourists. The food is decent. The drinks are OK. Nothing special here. The river view is fantastic. Their history at other locations is amazing. The prices here - less so. I hope you open another electronic music place in some off-the-beaten-track location one day and I'll rave about it then day and night again. Until then: good luck with this one anyway! See you at some hole-in-the-wall any other day.

Went there with my girl gang and had a great time. It's a cool place to hang out by the river. I'll definitely come back again.

Great location on the waterfront, lively atmosphere and beautiful people. The food is okay but expensive for what it is but you pay for the location.

Lovely spot by Chao Phraya River .. just had a drink here while waiting for my river cruise .. but super nice atmosphere and good service.

We have been in June for dinner. Reservation is necessary to get a table. The place at the river is very nice. The service was always satisfying and the food is so far ok.

Well this was accidental finding this place. It turn out to be best spot for my family at this time of the day. All good, food , drunk, servise and good atmospher

I didn’t actually eat here but they have Tabasco. So between draft beer and Tabasco, automatic 5 star in my book.

The location and atmosphere are great! Sitting outside right on the river is always a wonderful experience. This is a chill hangout spot (get the bottle of wine). The Pad Thai was tasty and the Cosmopolitan was perfect.

Went there for a drink and some snacks. The price are way too expansive for what they serve. We ordered fried calamari rings for 230thb and got 5 tiny squid ring. Plus we ordered french fries at the same time which they served 40min later. The drinks were ok. We paid 1000thb for 2 drinks (spritz and pina colada) and the tiny calamari. The view from the terrasse is good but it was wasted by the cruise boat arriving and putting the music volume so high to show off or something.

Saw Viva Aviv on the weekend and it was packed. Decided to try it out on a tuesday. It was very quiet in the afternoon. They have both indoor & outdoor seating area. The indoor area has a very quirky decor. But less so for the outdoor deck. There are some hi-table & hi-chairs, but the other tables were only wooden table with plastic chairs. On another note, the view was good and the service was quick. The servers are very friendly too. Since it’s in the afternoon, i only ordered dessert. I was recommended to get the Lemon Tart, since it’s a best selling. But it’s sorta disappointing. The tart has a cakey base, the lemon filling was covered in gelatine, and the taste of lemon was very mild. It is served with raspberry ice cream. The color was too much, and the taste is so candy like & not natural. Maybe should tried out their pizza, because many people raves about it.

A lovely spot for a lunch by the river. The food is wonderful, and although it's a tad on the pricey side for Bangkok, it's well worth it for the atmosphere and the views. Perfect for a couple's date, or as part of a visit to the galleries at River City.
