Hidden but not difficult to find the best waffle and local roast in Bangkok. Very quint and quiet environment to spend a leisurely brunch/afternoon with friends or time for self. Staff are always friendly and cheerful, you will always leave with a satisfied stomach and high spirited soul :-)

Found this hidden gem tucked away in the affluent neighborhood of Ekkamai. Everything is right with this place. The food, the coffee, the ambience, the music and the people. The Thai pasta deserves a special shout out. It’s mighty yummy !! There is also a small clothing store attached to it too and they have a variety of curated clothings. I’m in love with this place !

Great small specialty coffee shop that serves both local and imported coffee. Staff is extraordinarily knowledgeable and helpful. I ordered Thai coffee beans, forgot whether it was espresso or filtered- regardless it tasted phenomenal! There's a clothes shop next door. 10/10 would recommend.

I loved cafe hopping while living in Melbourne. So when I heard that the cafe scene in Bangkok is pretty good, I couldn't pass up the chance to have a meal at least once in one of the much talked about cafes in Bangkok during my recent holiday. I chose to being my family to One Ounce for Onion, a hipster cafe in Ekkamai. Its tucked inside the residential area, hundreds of metres away from the main road, and the only way to get there is via Grab or Taxi. We arrived for a late breakfast, and to our surprise, we were the only customers at that hour. This was also before the opening hour for their adjoining clothing store 'Onion' so perhaps we were in between the breakfast and lunch crowds. After all, this is not a place dependant on usual foot traffic. If you have space and time for only one dish, then the one to have is the grilled croissant. It is Da Bomb. The croissant is buttery, flaky, and comes with a house-made spicy tomato sauce added with minced pork and egg yolk, which you can dip the sliced grilled croissant in. It's soooo umami. It was so good we had to order a second bowl. The scones with Greek yoghurt and pineapple jam is amazing too. And what is a cafe without amazing coffee? The coffee here ticks the right boxes. Just for that hour or so, we felt like we were back in Melbourne. Oh... And the staff are pretty chill and a rather good looking bunch too!

Second visit. We have just learned that now Brassica's doughnuts are also available in Onion's cafe. Their doughnuts are not just sweet. Cream is real and rich, playing a good harmony with the chewy dough. So far, my compromise was Krispy Kream, but from today my best doughnut in BKK is Brassica. Staff speaks beautiful English. As always, Onion's items were edgy. Never betray the customers with a keen eye. This place is located on a narrow street, so the parking is a concern. ===== Very nice select shop and cafe. Good coffee. High quality brand that you wouldn't expect to meet in Thailand, such as Baracuta and Salomon etc etc. I love the long skirt, but didn't buy it as I have no chance to wear in Bangkok (too hot). Maybe a bit cheaper to get in Tokyo, but it was great to see those collection in here. Love the owner's selection.

Small limited menu but they get it right. Very small cosy joint which shares the same space with another retail store. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Loved the grilled croissant!

One of the best cafes I have been to during my trip to Bangkok! It is a must try! Food was well put together and flavourful! The toast was crispy and fluffy and the coffee was very good too. The staff can speak English as well which is great! :)

One stop for both eating, drinking and fashion shopping. I love its coffee, best selected!! Snack is fine. And you can drop by at the shopping area where you will find a selection of glasses, shoes, clothes. Carpark can be found in the soi but not that much.

I've been here a few times and love the menu and shop next door. The location is a little out of they way (best get a taxi) but the staff are friendly and it's a peaceful spot to enjoy a coffee or take friends.

Everything I ordered here was amazing. There is a high level of attention to detail, flavors, and textures. The coffees are chosen and brewed to bring out their bright(sour) flavors for a surprisingly seamless experience, please try them.

Here is one of brunch & coffee spot in Bangkok. Don’t miss flat white, grilled croissant, smoothie for your choices. The space is quite limited , just bring 1-3 people to get seats easily.
