What a charming place! It’s so classic yet contemporary, and will completely immerse you in the old-time Bangkok. Just sitting there and appreciating the decoration could make me full. The drink and food menus are hearty. Their brownie is so rich and moist. You should also try their carbonara and strawberry pie!

The delicious pastrami bagel featured a soft textured bagel and well-seasoned pastrami. Their high-quality coffee is not sour or bitter but exceptionally smooth, with hints of cinnamon. Their exceptional food is accompanied by a friendly wait staff. Prepare for potential wait times, it can be busy during lunch.

Charming place in the the back lanes of local workshops in the middle of nowhere. They've really celebrated their context and the historic layers of this building. Their service, set up and food makes it feel like you're in the hidden alleys of Melbourne. Tasty, wholesome and enjoyable. Their prices seem out of reach for locals. Most tourists would take a taxi to get here and then take another taxi to go somewhere else further because there's nothing much to explore around here. Maybe it would be nicer if this neighbourhood goes through some complementary gentrification? 🤔

Had brunch at Sarnie's and it was absolutely wonderful! The vibe and service were top-notch, making our morning start on the brightest note. Here’s the lowdown on what we tried: 🍊 Orange Juice: Super underrated! The smoothest and creamiest orange juice ever. Ask for it with ice on the side to avoid dilution – it's a game-changer. 🍳 English Breakfast: Incredible. A hearty and fulfilling start to the day that can't be missed if you're feeling hungry. 🥑 Avocado Toast: For those with a lighter appetite, this is the perfect go-to. Simple, fresh, and delicious. 🍜 Tom Yum Eggs Benedict: Cute and creative, but not for the faint of heart with its spicy twist. Interesting, but perhaps an acquired taste for breakfast. In summary, the stand-out items that I’d recommend anyone to try are definitely the smooth and creamy orange juice, the rich and satisfying English breakfast, and the fresh avocado toast for something lighter. While the Tom Yum Eggs Benedict was a unique experience, it may not be for everyone, especially if you’re not a fan of spice in the morning. Overall, Sarnie's offers an exceptional dining experience with awesome service and very reasonable prices for the quality you get. Highly recommend for some really good vibes and a delightful brunch!

I loved the vibes. The staff is friendly, and will help make recommendations if needed. I find it hard working with Thai people because of their attitude, but the staff here are good. The food here is very good, and I recommend it.

Was searching for a bagel around the corner at Sarnies Sourdough, but they're not open yet😂 Met Ben and Nick whom invited us in with warm hearts and welcome arms. Nice folks. They pored us up a couple cappuccinos and Lattes and took time to tell us all about their place. Then they directed me around the corner to their restaurant. This place is AWESOME, looks like its out of New Orleans or something. Great feel and atmosphere. The food was excellent, Tom Yum Eggs Benedict with Salmon, and the Meatball sandwich❤️❤️❤️ Loved it Highly recomend this place. Its a little pricey, everything on the menu is about 350, but I felt it was worth it. The food is great❤️❤️

Really cool spot and perfect place for breakfast. They have vegan options which was important for me. Great, English speaking staff. They also have great coffee and kombuchas. The place has a cool hippie vibe to it. Give it a try you won’t regret it!

Best cafe in this location. Old town style cafe with really good food and Drink. If you looking for good cafe in Vintage style this one will perfect for you. Nice and yummy dessert. And don't forget to buy some bottle of Cold Brew Coffee back to you home.

The portions are bigger than breakfast portions in Toronto. The sourdough bread tastes good. The one I ordered was 3 layers of cheese. It was full of cheese with spinach and mushrooms, and it tasted good. My friend ordered beef, and the cheese with a richer black pepper flavor was paired with medium-rare beef. I love the crispy, fluffy bread and the non-sour texture of this bread. The price/performance ratio is really better than any similar breakfast restaurant in Toronto, Canada. Of course, it is more cost-effective than Western restaurants in China. Recommended recommended. I love dirty coffee, but the portion size scares me. Maybe after drinking here for 2 months, the American style is huge hahaha, and the cappuccino tasted by my teammates is also very mild. Love this place and I will recommend it to my friends in Bangkok.

We booked in advance but when we entered, the staff had no idea about the booking and did not prepare the table. We often needed to look for and called for service. And honestly the service was pretty poor. The chicken burger, garlic bread and sausage with smashed potatoes were ok but others meh. Limited choices of food not sure if we better come for breakfast or brunch. It was a family dinner but we were not happy. Parking for free at Robinson and walking distance to the restaurant.

Brunch tastes good but service not so desirable as most of heat cafes in Bangkok city. When I step into here the staff (p1) was not active and warm welcome. During the time here his not quiet helpful as well. The price of coffee is reasonable but they don't provid tap water for free. Still water charges 75 baht a bottle. Anyway it is a cool place if u live nearby Then recommend to come.

Big portion and flavorsome dishes, well-executed in every dish. The quality was outstanding and worth paying for. The chocolate was rich and thick, coffee was well-roasted that comes with nice fragrance. Seasonal kombucha was really refreshing and wasn’t too strong and overpowering. Can’t wait to come back again.

Relaxing chill cafe with great variety of bread and brunch food with a local Thai twist. Meal was very filling and hearty, it's possible to share one meal between 2 people if you're small eaters. The bacon the crispy chips type, so if you're a soft bacon lover, you may find it dry.

Great brunch place. We went with friends and ordered all the vegetarian options they had. If you don't eat eggs your options will be more limited. The triple cheese toastie is great ! Good quality ingredients!

A great place, very trendy design and layout and great food and coffee, the salmon eggs benedict is awesome. They also sell their own coffee beans “tiramisu” and “smooth criminal” Only downside is prices are a bit high, but it’s worth it for the great ambiance. If they are full downstairs they have a second floor also

Cute coffee shop in bangkok! Smaller inside than it looked in the photos, but super adorable old building. Lovely barista/servers and amazing coffee. Surprised on how good the NYC style bagel was! Cute place to hang out. Full breakfast/lunch menu available, more than I expected for a coffee shop. Great place.

Amazing tasting food; we had the Tom yum eggs and the pastrami bagel - so tasty. Lovely heat off the eggs. You must try the white coffee lemonade! So refreshing and surprisingly tasty. The staff here speak English and you can pay by card. I’ll come back to try the evening meal of pasta!

This cafe is tiny, but adorable! The food was delicious and large portion sizes! I wasn’t able to finish my breakfast sandwich, which saddened me because it was so tasty! I also ordered an espresso milkshake and I was so pleased with my sweet treat. The service was great as well! The only downside is that this place is pretty loud! Between the espresso machine and multiple conversations echoing through the small space, I would say this is not ideal for getting any work done. However if you just want to grab a delicious breakfast and specialty coffee, it’s perfect! I highly recommend!

I have mixed feelings about this one. Ups first : Staff is very friendly, coffee is pretty good, convenient location with good parking opportunities in Ploen Chit. Good selection of bakery goods. (And you MUST try their sour dough egg tarts, they are great!) Downs : It seems they don't put much effort into cleaning between customers, bits and pieces of bread and cake all over the floor, and some redish sauce on the table, as a result there are many (too many) flies in there. And also much unpleasant smelling smoke from the hot plates in the corner of the open kitchen in the corner. So when I left, my clothes smelled like I had been to hotpot shabu-shabu restaurant, not a cafe. Basic cleanliness is MUCH more important than temperature measurement by the entrance. If they can improve the overall cleanliness they can easily get 4-5 stars, but until then, 3 stars it is. I will check back next time I'm in the neighborhood to see if things have improved.

Place was a fun, older style cafe/restaurant that also had live music - a big reason we went. Fish finger burger was very good, and the homemade cola high balls were sweet and delightful. Also had the kombucha gin & tonic.

Excellent bagels in a cool restored building. Staff were friendly. Lots of choices for sandwiches and more substantial food. Creative options for drinks also Had a iced coconut long black. It was interesting - not my thing, but I could appreciate it. Definitely come here for the food and the chilled vibes. Free wifi also!

The Aussie's style cafe. They have created a variety of interesting menus in Australian style with Thai taste. They're looking good. The coffees are good. However, the food prices are quite high and there is no car parking close to the cafe. The nearest parking is at Phlu Temple which is in 200 meters walking distance.

Lovely breakfast spot - think Thai flavours (big, bold, umami coming in strong) with Aussie-style breakfast plating. Loved the omelet. Fresh sourdough and for fun tried a coffee out of my comfort zone that was made with coconut water. Felt like a tropical start to the day!

Oh my, the Tom Yum eggs Benedict was top notch! It was really flavorful and a good portion. I ended up saving half for later and I was happy I did because I got to enjoy it twice! The entire menu looked really tasty and I'll definitely be back to try more! It's a bit higher pricing but its illustrated in their quality and the craftsmanship of their dishes.

Quite expensive (price per head about 500-700 THB) exotic foods. Recommended to come early before getting too crowded. Staffs are nice but since there are too many customers in a small space so the service may not be dropped. Anyway, love the architecture and the vibe.

Nice interior in an old brick-wooden house. The menu is compact and has several choices for breakfast as well as main dishes. Wide selection of coffee. However, the food is good, but average. Although there are lot of waiters, the service is slow. Parking in the soi will be difficult, so Robinson nearby is a good choice.

3 stars because of the decoration, ambiance and great service. The menu looks great and there are probably some very delicious dishes on it. I just had the bad luck of not choosing the best one. It is one of the top sellers: eggs Benedict, salmon, spinach with a Thai sauce. The big problem is the sauce. It’s to much and the taste is to overwhelming! You could have put the sauce on any dish and it would have tasted the same as this egg Benedict dish. Another problem is the spinach. It’s difficult to cut through and you destroy the bun by trying to do so. So in a few seconds you have changed the good looking dish into a food warzone! Be aware the prices are high. But if you don’t mind that and you are into a good looking trendy place with good service and you pick out the winners from the menu then you will most likely come out with a big smile on your face!

This is the second of the Sarine shops we try, the other was nearby. This is a little more vibrant and has a different (better) menu. We really enjoyed this one too and are planning to go bsck there tomorrow. I know we could eat at the same place twice but we really liked it.

I chose the pastrami bagel and added a double shot cappuccino some eggs and sourdough along with the chocolate dessert and watermelon juice. The sauerkraut made the pastrami bagel flavorful, sourdough was quite sour (a good thing) and the sea salt (I think it was) was coarse and salty so use it accordingly. The chocolate dessert was quite good and soft when ordered warm. Bill is on the high side of just under 1100 thb, but the food was very good.

I recently visited Sarnies Bangkok coffee shop and would like to share my experience with you. The coffee shop has a nice location near the Shangri-La hotel, with many massage places nearby. However, I found the seats to be very uncomfortable, especially the seat for the gentleman, which was quite a killer. If you are a gentleman and let your girlfriend sit there, be warned! The coffee has a nice taste to it, but I don't think it's worth the price of 52 baht. The beans and sausage are spicy, so if you are a typical British person who expects Heinz baked beans, this might not be your kind of chill. However, if you're a bit more adventurous and like to go the extra mile to taste something more exotic and delicious, then this could be a great option for you. The hash brown was totally delicious and melted in my mouth like a combination of soft butter and bread. The coffee and cappuccino were just nice, and felt great after each sip. I also enjoyed the homemade feeling of the spiciness in the sausage and beans, although the beans were a non-sticky type which I don't usually prefer. Overall, while the seats were uncomfortable and the coffee was a bit expensive, I would recommend Sarnies Bangkok for their unique and delicious menu items. Just be prepared for a bit of spice in your meal

This was my first meal out of quarantine in Bangkok. It was basically Aussie Brunch with Thai twist. We got the tom yum eggs benedict and muffin with Thai sausage. The orange mocha was also delicious. The muffin came with literally the best hash brown I've ever had in my life!

The Sathon area around Saphan Taksin BTS has lots to explore for the walking tourist. This area is filled will fanciful eateries and several budget hotels. In one of those unsuspecting alleys, one finds Sarnies Bangkok. An oasis to beat the heat in 2 stories of a rustic old shophouse blanketed in heavy touches of design. We were hunting for breakfast, did not want to have it in the hotel. Sarnies opens 8am early and was a perfect venue for us. Was amazed to find they offer decaffeinated coffee, most places in Thailand have no idea what decaffeinated is. We had one of their generous portions of breakfast. It had a good serving of bacon, many grilled tomatoes, two toasts, hash browns, scrambled egg, an Italian sausage, buttered mushroom and their baked beans was enhanced with minced meat and sauces. We sat upstairs and had the whole place to ourselves the Sunday morning here. Soothing chillout music filled the air as we had our hearty meal to start off our day.

The place is charming in an old building. There are 2 floors of seating areas. The staff who took care of us is very polite , very professional. I have not seen that for a while. Thanks for good service. The food is good, but a bit expensive, but I think it goes with the quality of ingredients. The coffee, flat white, was great. If you drive, you can park at Robinson Department Store or Wat Suanphlu. I did park at Robinson. It is a short walk. Enjoy!

A cozy coffee shop with a hip and trendy menu. The service was friendly but the steak sandwich was on the verge of being bland, same goes for the unseasoned Nori-fries. The coffee is really great ☕.

Nice and cosy place for a meal and coffee. Good meals (light and heavy), western style ranging from bagels, sandwiches , salad to pasta. Taste good and generous portion. Coffee is good and professionally brewed. Other drinks are also interedting and good. (Haven't tried any dessert... Too full, hehe) Quite pricey,... Price seems like you are dining at the original place in Singapore, haha. No parking, you can park at the nearby Robinson department store and take a short walk.

Amazing food and atmosphere only ruined by the influencers that come here to have entire photoshoots. Take hundreds of the same photos with multiple outfit changes. It ruins what would be the perfect chill weekend coffee vibes. They have free wifi and plugs but it's too distracting to work from when you see everyone around you trying to take the perfect photo to tell their followers how great of a time they are having. Some of these influencers didn't even really eat the food they were pretending to eat in their photos 🫣 Besides that, try the coconut iced coffee ☕ 🥥

Very nice cozy and inviting industrial feel, the coffee and tea was awesome, we had the matcha latte and dirty coffee along with the fried up breakfast, tom yum egg benedict. Beware portion are huge! Be there early as the seating are small. Was there in the morning and the service was very good with smiley young waitresses!!

Loved it as it’s nestled in an heritage building. Friendly staffs with fast service. A little disappointed with the food and the taste was underwhelming. The avocado toast was pretty boring and seasoning could have been better. Tom yum hollandaise sauce salmon Benedict was a big let down. The taste of the whole plat wasn’t in equilibrium. A little tried too hard to localise this dish. The best among the 3 dishes we ordered was the grilled chicken fruit salade.

Nice and comfy little cafe. Food is pretty good but the English muffins were quite doughy and hard, was not to our liking. Lots of interesting choices of food but the hot/cold thick chocolate was too too rich and thick for my liking and after a few sips it makes you feel very full. Overall I would say that it is for the experience.

Super fun dining experience tucked deep inside a tiny street, not a place you'd discover just by exploring. The ambiance is industrial chique and the food is fusion Thai western. Main meals were phenomenal. Highly recommend the meatball sub and also the pastrami bagel. Their cold brew came in a sizeable bottle and was smooth and tasted like chocolate. Interestingly, it also said that on the bottle, so I'm not wrong in my evaluation.... Lol But, their brownies, the matcha and chocolate were more like fudge consistency and too hard, and the only negative thing I can say about the experience. Really wonderful experience overall.

I have cycled past Sarnies in Singapore many times but never tried it until I was here in Bangkok .There are some cafes around here but I liked Sarnies because they have some outdoor seating as well as window seats to have coffee and watch things go by along the street. The cold brew was good and I also had a Treacle Cake: it was interesting but a little too sweet and rich for my liking after a few bites. Their sandwiches seemed popular.

Uniquely classic style building in old town area of Bkk with fantastic scent of coffee. Also provides an authentic food which is both good taste and good decorating as a painting on your dish. I recommend here📍 ,cause they are not always only serve a food but also serve a good mood ,feel so cozy😊

we ordered the signatures tom yum eggs benedict, beef sandwich and the cashew butter & grape toast. all of them tasted good but the cashew grape toast was a bit too sweet and heavy for a brunch for me, i would personally file it under dessert. the atmosphere was really cool since its in an old building, overall a good brunch place to hang out with friends and grab coffee.

I had the Fry-up (a big hearty breakfast dish) and CB&J Brioche (cashew butter + roasted grapes + honey, which is their signature dish). Both were amazing, especially the latter one. Unique and the combination of taste & texture was perfect to me. The Iced Coconut Long Black was great too. Loved the quality of dried coconuts, as well as the fresh coconut meat. Generous amount too. It was my first time here and was definitely a happy visit. - Recommend making a reservation (or at least call to check if it's okay for walk-in) - No wheelchair access - No space for parking (If you drive there, park at the nearby Robinson) - Could be quite a number of customers taking instagrammable photos in front of the restaurant, but was still alright for me.

My favorite cafe-restaurant in Bangkok! Not only do they serve amazing coffee, but the innovative food that they sell are outstanding, as well. The ambiance and interior is top-notch, too!
