It's one of those cool places that is worthwhile visiting, but not jaw dropping. Food items are of a certain good quality level, but there are definitely better alternatives elsewhere. What I really liked about this cafe is the quirky sitting arrangement. The modular up-down set up, is brilliant and funky all at the same time. They're also extremely thoughtful around how they package their food items, and how it's finally presented to you. Lastly, servers are very genuine, no need to deal with attitudes whatsoever. That all said, food items are simple and hard to go wrong. Yet at the same time, it's hard to awe anyone. Just treat them as a simple Chinese breakfast, and you'll be okay upon managing your own expectations.

One of the loveliest dim sum places in Yaowarat. I really enjoyed the set meals. We, a group of four, ordered one savory set and one sweet set, and that was enough to fill our stomach. The savory mushroom bun was well presented. It came in the shape of a mushroom and tasted heavenly. The sweet orange cake is also a must.

Waiting very long time. It seems they are not eager to clear table and pressure old customer to leave. I think owner need to monitor waitress more than this a lot. Food preparation is fast and service is nice. The inspiration for customer to leave such as discount on fast eating should be implemented.

Great wall paintings and good-looking deco. So you can get plenty of beautiful photos. The drinks were way too sweet... I also ordered the durian bun and that was very sweet, too.. The staff gathered in front of the restroom (and it felt so awkward to go there snd use it) and seemed to enjoy talking...eating which I find very.. unprofessional in the restaurants... It's a pity... 😅

Interesting cafe! Dim sum was decent, but we especially enjoyed the roast pork with steamed rice. Meat was well roasted and the sauce provided complemented the set very well — we had it twice on our trip!

Interesting dim sum place at BKK. You can opt to have your dim sum at a higher ground - climb a few steps (treat it as a little exercise before and after your meal 🤣😂.) It has quite a decent spread of dim sum options. Well, I enjoyed snapping away on my phone more than crunching away the food in my mouth. I will recommend you to visit this place if you are a foodie and you like snapping pretty pictures of your food. I wont recommend this place if you are a foodie and cared more about the taste than looks. Well, if you know what i meant, you know..... 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Chanced upon this while walking along china town... Interesting seat arrangements.... The upper seats are for party of 2 only ..... Takes abit of climbing to get to it... But real fun... We also had the 'emperor breakfast' set which is porridge with simple dishes.... Great... After many Thai feast, this lunch is welcomed.... Do remember you would need some help to snap that perfect photo since you are so high up....

When I tell you that they have an amazing food and amazing service, believe it. This place has an amazing ambiance, good for those IG worthy shots. You can find this cafe easily with that neon sign outside—also instagrammable. Price-wise and taste wise, tasted amazing and you're really getting more than your money's worth.

Lovely ambience and quite OK pricing. Some more modern dim sum, the food was good but not great. Some minor stuff that could have been much better. Also beware if u take a dimsum set u don't fit much more on your table as the basket they are served in are huge.

One of my favorite place for Chinese breakfast and dim sum. Well affordable price, fast and great service. Not to mention how well the food’s presented to our eyes. Of course since this place is extremely instagramable, you might need to have some patience if you come by during peak hours or weekend.

Great little cafe offering some tasty food. We shared a bamboo steamer filled with dim sum delicacies and I was really quite impressed. Food was tasty and presentation was great. Drinks were a bit of a let down. Butterfly pea options were both available with Thai tea and as a latte so we ordered both, however in both instances the flavor of the Thai tea and the coffee in the latte completely overpowered the subtle tones of the butterfly pea so the only evidence in the drink was some slight coloring and a few dried flowers. The drinks were both good, however there was also far too much ice which is a poor way of reducing the drink quantity. After removing the ice it seemed only a third of the glass contained drink so this was a bit sad. Food I’d recommend but drinks suggest go somewhere else unless you want to let ice melt and water down your drink to make it last longer.

Overall, the eateries provided a new experience when it comes to seating layout, which is a positive. The unique seating arrangement adds to the ambiance and increases the novelty factor for customers. The presentation of food is commendable. The dishes are visually appealing and well-arranged, enhancing the overall dining experience. This attention to detail suggests that the eatery values the aesthetics of their meals.

An intriguing tea shop located in Chinatown that I found to be worth visiting. The seating arrangement at this place is particularly amusing and perfect for a group of up to four people who want to spend some quality time together. While the food and desserts served here can be found elsewhere in Yaorat, what sets this place apart is the serene and enjoyable setting that it offers. The ambiance of the tea shop is perfect for a relaxing afternoon with friends or family, and the menu here features a variety of teas that are not only delicious but also quite unique. So, if you're looking for a cozy and entertaining spot to unwind while sipping some delicious tea, this place is definitely worth checking out!

Nice food. Not only all the dimsum I had but also plating, both of them were great. Duplex type but not that big restaurant. I didn’t need to wait for queue when I arrived around 5pm.

I was here 5 years ago, and I'd have to say that their standard had dropped by a lot. Still a great place to be at to take photos and to absorb the atmosphere. But the quality of the food have since dropped. The fried bun I had was over fried and was overly oily due to it soaking up too much oil. The rest of the Dim Sum are average at best. If you are looking for a place for good Dim Sum, I would suggest you try other places instead. This cafe is only good if you are just here for your Instagram shots.

Ordered the dim sum - some of them were sold out by the time we were here. Petite portions but well cooked and very pleasing to the eyes. Interesting drinks available here too, the milk tea is done very well - not overly sweet but good strength. And they gave me my favourite kosong lemon tea - for that thumbs up.

Not much of a choice. For big eater, the portion for 2 is actually for 1 person. Dim sums are all in small portions. Their pork rice is 3/10 (deep fried to dry and not juicy)

Love the concept, however unless you’re sitting on the second floor (bunk?) then you don’t get the full experience. But the food is nice, we had shrimp dumplings, mini bbq buns and chicken.

Visited a Chinese cafe in Bangkok's Chinatown and we really liked it! The atmosphere inside was unusual, we ordered tea and traditional sweets. The prices were average for Thailand, and the staff were friendly. I recommend this place to visit.

10 Sep 2023. My loved one recommended this special place for makan. We ordered a rice and mini bun. The rice is good with coverage of many pieces of rosted meat. Good place to eat and relax with the air-conditioning.

This place is an excellent stop for some Dim Sum. The prices are affordable, excellent flavours, really nice tea selection & a number of vegan options. I particularly enjoyed the Mushroom Bao bun that was shaped like a mushroom! The cafe is cute and we loved the Nobel seating arrangements.

One of the waitresses was a bit too moody to work. The food was fine for its kind. Nice and well-designed decoration. It’s beautiful and yet practical. For the idea and the efforts of creating something different, I think it well worths the price you pay. If you want to eat original, centuries long history ,big table, huge portion Chinese food, there are plenty around the corner.

I’d call it a Chinese tapas cafe. I admire this cafe. Chick and cozy. My hot tea was fresh and floral fragrant. Unfortunately, you are only allowed one time of refilling plain hot water. Our snack combination was fine. As you can see in the photos. But my hot tea was so flavorful.

Retro chic instragramale cafe settings. Ordered their dim sum, very photogenic, but taste average. Well, this is bacause I am from a country with Chinese majority, and have tried way too many dim sum breakfast. But i will still recommend this place for the atmosphere.

Love this place. It's a little bit expensive than expected but worth the price. Their food was delicious. If you like durian, I would recommend to try their durian bun.

Please use an application called "QueQ" to avoid waiting in front of the shop for too long. Tables on the upstairs needs to wait longer but more fun and pictures will be nicer (when booking, only choose upstairs if you don't want to try your luck on where they will place you). Parking nearby is available at 30 baht/hours. You may leave one of your members to wait and the rest enjoy the Temple of the Golden Buddha first. Food is good and reasonably priced. Service is above average.

tbh about this cafe, I have read a few reviews before coming here and most of the reviews said it’s good so I chose to come. however, the taste is just so so since I have high expectation before coming here. I have tried half of the menu but nothing stand out in term of the taste. only a few good things about this cafe is decoration and their service. beside that nothing special at all. so, im not really recommend here if you are looking for tasty but if you wanna take some good photos, I would say this is the one for photos.

Don't forget to order durian bun and shrimp suimai. New Year combo is best choice. The menu is not varied but the taste is worth a try. Decoration is a plus. VAT is excluded.

Wondering around china town and arrived this restaurant unexpectedly. Such a smart seat planning in a small place and also you can have good beverages with a reasonable price. We hadn’t have food since we’re full. But seeing others ordering foods, the food also must be worthy enough to try. Also reasonable price!!!

Instagram place for a quick drink and dessert. Full house when we reached and people do like their high seats. Service was efficient and the cups and plates were very beautiful. Drinks quality is normal. Dessert was too sweet for my liking but it should sit well with most diners.

Order a set of various dimsim. It serves with a giant dimsim steam bowl. Look fantastic and cute. All delicious!! Small shop but great decorating with 2 tier seat.

Love the atmosfer of this place, good food too. I like how they design this place and they present the food. And it is not just a good look but also good taste. Price is a bit on a higher side but it is still acceptable.

I wanted to come to this place for some time already and finally here! Whee 🎉 And yeah it's pretty as good as I expected it to be, snacks are nice, tea is lit, I sure can have the whole jar by myself which I don't even like tea that much trust me lol. I also love the way they decorate this place and the seating area is something you sure want to climb on haha

  • 5/5 Janice G. 1 year ago on Google
What a quirky experience! Two levels of dining takes on new meaning. You will need to climb up the stairs on a scaffolding like structure to reach a table for two. We were a little over the mid century old so we stayed firmly on ground level. Food was good, tea was good, presentation of food was tops! Lovely place to have breakfast before heading to Chinatown

  • 5/5 Joe M. 1 year ago on Google
Cool Cantonese tea shop. I loved the 'up & down' seating here. Tons of quirky fusion drinks and some Cantonese snacks. The coffee was excellent. The sharing dim sum plate also hit the spot, especially the mandarin cake. Delicious. Busy spot and often have to wait for a table.

We love this little restaurant! A little gem in Chinatown. Probably one of the coziest restaurants I been to. We ordered the Mala Fried Chicken and the Crispy Pumpkin Cream Buns. Both were so delicious! Before we left we went back for another round of Mala Fried Chicken and will go one more time when we return to Bangkok before we leave Thailand!

  • 5/5 Alberto R. 1 year ago on Google
Not your usual dimsum place, first of thanks to a quirky and special furniture. The food and service is excellent, and I recommend to get there around the opening hour in order to avoid queues. Next time we will come back to try their menus, this time we ordered a-la-carte. The Oolong is one of the best I have ever tried by the way, superb.

  • 3/5 Addy 8 months ago on Google
We ordered 299 baht set for 2 persons. It's not good, almost all dim sum were deep fried and just like the instant dim sum that sold in supermarket. The middle was a cake which we couldn't finish. The Thai milk tea was good though.

  • 5/5 Priscilla T. 8 months ago on Google
Really liked the atmosphere here especially the unique seating area. We over ordered for 2 pax as we really wanted to try many food! But my favourite got to be the bbq pork bun and egg lava buns 😋 would recommend this place if you are coming with older folks or just want to enjoy the vibes here !

Good place for dinner at beginning of yaowarad road. Sometimes this restaurant will be very crowded so better come early. Lot of menu and foods with very nice hot tea. This restaurant is suitable for 2-3 people and probably spend about 1-1.30 hrs max for your meals.

  • 5/5 Alexis O. 9 months ago on Google
I came here on a whim since I couldn't find any food nearby (First day here). I must say, I was pleasantly surprised! Portions are good, price is fair, and taste is good! I'll be the first to say, none of the food here is "authentic" as you can clearly tell it is not made in-house. The downside to that is that this is not an authentic experience. The upside is, the food still tastes great and it's also very familiar taste (USA). I recommend this place for travelers if you're looking for something that's not too risky, yet still gives you Thai flavor. Highly recommend!

Great food and friendly staff! Saw this place on a TikTok and decided I’d give it a go, The food was amazing and came pretty fast after ordering. The dim sum set was incredible! We got a butterfly pea lemonade to try also as curiosity got the best of us, if you’ve not had one before I’d recommend you try it. The tables were something different and would defo recommend giving the upstairs booth a go if you can get upto it. If you’re in Chinatown and fancy some dim sum then this is the place to be!
