This is very useful and happy place for the kids to play and learn their children life through many activities serving for every ages. The place is friendly and decorative for imaginary and social interaction. Car park is available for family car. Social distancing and hygiene services are provided frequently.

Everything went so smooth and easy on a Saturday afternoon. The place is quite generously huge with many interactive games for kids. Very educative and informative. The staffs should be praised for their helpfulness, showing visitors how to use the interactive devices and games. There were many staffs on site, all willing and friendly to give instructions etc. Surprise to see all of them being able to speak a decent amount of English to assist us throughout our visit.

"Most amazing attraction for children in Bangkok!" The Children's Discovery Museum is a must-visit attraction in Bangkok for children! It offers various educational and creative activities. Entry is free for all, but foreigners should bring their passport for ID verification. Food is not available inside, but there are tables and chairs for seating and eating your own snacks. The museum has multiple buildings with different activities that can easily keep children engaged from 10AM to 4PM. There is also a water play area, so be sure to pack an extra set of clothes. While some of the activities may not be operational, we highly recommend trying out the Dinosaur Digging, Large Block Building, City Building, Pretend Play Area, and Library. Tired family members can enjoy shopping and a massage at Chatuchak, opposite the Museum.

Disappointed is a huge understatement!! Me and my family have been looking forward to visiting for nearly a year. Upon arrival, the water play was closed, they said they would open it at 1:30 (even tho the sign said there should be a session on now) So we walked around, and pretty much everything was out of order or broken!! There was so much potential, but it was such a letdown, All the giant signs are written in English, and ALL the little text was it Thai!! The dinosaur sand pit looked amazing but unfortunately had no cover or shade, and it was far too hot for the kids to he in the nearly 40-degree sun! Why not charge people a little bit and maintain what you have rather than letting it all rot!! The park opposite was far better!! Squirrell food and fish food is only 20B, and the kids loved it the lake if full of all kind of crazy fish!!!

It's a family and budget friendly activity that you can enjoy when at Chatuchak BKK area. It's free entrance with good facilities for children of all ages. It can get crowded on weekends/holidays but surely kids and families will have a great time at childrens museum. Recommend to drop by and check it out when your at the area. Just opposite Mint Chatuchak where you can grab a nice meal and quick shopping after visiting the museum.

YOU CANNOT BEAT ***FREE***! Do not miss this on your trip to Bangkok if you have kids! There are outside playgrounds as well as tons of stuff to do inside in the AC. Be sure to bring a swimsuit and small towel so your kids can play at the splash pad! Also, don’t forget your passport if you are a foreigner. We had a long day in the intense Bangkok heat the day before, so this place was the perfect way to relax and chill while our kids had a blast. Plan to take your time at each station and spend the whole day here. You can buy food across the street at Chatuchak. The activity stations are organized by age and has plenty to do for all ages. A good place to make some core memories!

Best free place to take your kids. You will be able to enjoy the whole day. And shopping mall next to this place. Enjoyed it!! Remember to take the food. Otherwise you will have to walk out and get register again to come inside.

Beautiful place for kids with different interactions on each level...there is no aircon so its hot in the afternoons. Some activities are weekend based (like thai cooking) also age specific. There is no admission fee, just local id card or passport for foreigners. You need to carry food n water there is no cafeteria inside. Very close to chatuchak market so that means on weekend u will have more eating options outside and can also cover the market on the same day. Also the place is very well kept and sanitized even during these covid times and the staff does speak English too which is a big blessing for foreigners.

The children’s museum is quite large with both indoor and outdoor activities. Outdoors has play structures for both bigger and smaller kids and a water play area (only open on the weekend). Indoors main building has a mix of activities and exhibitions to explore. First floor has an activity in the center (that day it was coloring a paper, limit one per child), a science exploration area, funny mirrors, a kids kitchen (must be 6+ years old), and dinosaur exhibit (with outdoor sand to dig, but it is not shaded and no shoes allowed inside). Second floor has some exhibits on arts and activities like weave a basket and make a science experiment. Third floor has wooden building blocks, a lego blocks area, and a kids play theater. There is a separate arts building with a baby room on the first floor (0-12 months) second floor for kids 3-6 exploring different professions like fireman etc. In the front is an arts building for kids 7+ and a family center. There are probably a few more things but I didn’t go to them all. Some things to note: 1. Admission is free but you must show Thai ID or passport. They give you a wristband when you enter but you won’t need it for anything inside. 2. IMPORTANT Covid restrictions mean every hour on the hour they close every single exhibit plus the outside play structure for the first 20 minutes for cleaning. This is very annoying because your children can only do 1-2 activities and then for 20 minutes there is nothing for them to do but wait for things to reopen. They should stagger the cleaning times so that at least some of the activities are open at all times for kids to do. 3. The indoor area is quite hot as there is only air con in a few small areas or a few fans inside. 4. Bathrooms are quite clean but there is no food so you need to bring your own snacks 5. Some exhibits are closed because they are broken. 6. Some personnel are lovely and clearly love children. Others can be quite curt so just be prepared. Just down the street is the JJ Mall where you can cool off, eat and shop after.

Great place for kids older than 3 years old. There is no food shop, so it's better to bring something to eat and drink. There is no charge and they have many activities, toys and equipments, so you can sped full day here. You just need stamina to run after your kids.

Amazing place for those with kids, there are many activities to do. I underestimated the amount of time needed in there, as some of them are only open certain hours so need to factor in the waiting time as well. We did not manage to complete all but that's ok, gives us another reason to return. One tip is to bring food and water in with you, as they don't sell any in there.

Children Liked It. From adult point of view it is average only reason being; - dated attraction - half of the "attraction" are poorly maintained or out of service. - most instruction or description are in Thai only. - staff on site most of them do not speak english. The good: - free entry, just bring along passport to register, get ur wrist band and enter. No need any tickets. - there is water play, so bring along ur wear gears if u wish to play. - 4D cinema experience, only 5mins show, and it is in Thai language. - washroom is available - BTS Mo Chit, exit from (1) and 10mins stroll to the place.

What a great find! Kids had hours of fun with the different activities whilst the wife and I switched out for some JJ shopping. Just need your ID and you’re in, too easy. Wish we had found out about it earlier!

We were very unlucky as it started rain after five minutes after we arrived. The sections are open every hour for 45 minutes and then closed for 15 minutes of cleaning which is a good service but was a bit annoying due to the rain and not being able to use the outdoor play area.

No Entry fee , only need to show any ID card and get inside the children’s discovery museum. Nice place for kids to enjoy the day. Lots of activities here. Unilever building is amazing. And have 4d cinema , for 4d cinema we have to register before entering.Cinema only 10 mins and give good awareness about cleanliness

A ATK self test is required, taken in the last 24 hours. It is mandatory for kids above 7 and for adults, starting March 2022. You can buy a kit outside for 100 THB. Very nice place, free entrance, close to the weekend Market. Children above 10 will be bored quickly; it was great for my 5-year-olds. Some of the sites were out of service, too bad. The water play ground is stil closed.

Free admission. There's a time schedule for certain play areas. And age restricted rooms. The outdoor playground is nice with a water play area as well. The building has 3 floors, a bit hot even with aircon. Run down in a lot of areas. Limited car park. So come early if you want to get a spot.

Stopped by before taking the train to Chiang Mai. Some areas are old and not working. Some areas are not interactive at all. No guidance from staff. The most fun my 5yo daughter had was in Rainbow City and playing with the construction set to build your own city. The fact that it is free is a plus

Nice new building. Good for independent visit. Bad for school trips. The guides dedication to the museum varies as some don't give much info about the activity or plan disorganized activities. (Moving back and forth buildings, long wait times, not informing how much time is left) They also tend to use their personal devices freely, disregarding the students in their vicinity.

Kids love it here! It’s free for both kids and parents. ATK tests for visitor aged over 7 years old are required at the entrance (please check the updated requirement again before you go). Many activities for kids at different ages are offered. There is no restaurants and cafes in the place, but you can find them at the building opposite to the museum.

My girl enjoys all the activities there. It’s totally free and worth for a day spending for children. You are required to show the ID/passport and Covid test results for the entrance. The test kit can be purchased from 7Eleven easily.

We had to show ATK test results to enter. Some visitors who cannot show test results were asked to buy ATK kits at a nearby convenience store. The museum was free to enter, but one third was still under renovation or shut down due to COVID (as of 15 May 2022), and one third was either full or temporarily closed for cleaning. Kids can enjoy the remaining one third, but of course it was jam-packed...

What a delight for our 2 and 4 year old kids while Mom shopped at the Chatuchak Market next door. Such a good variety of hands-on activities for them from arts and crafts, building, science, library, water splash pad, outdoor playground, etc. Perfect way to spend the day. And the best part is it’s free!

Great place to spend a few hours out of the heat with small kids. Some bits are a bit tired but giant lego room, rainbow room and water park (3 times a day, bring your swim wear) were brilliant. Good food court across the road to pick up snack and nothing sold on site. Also it's FREE Just bring your ID

Went during the Makha Bucha festival and it was free that day. Not sure what normal admission is. Had a blast for a couple of hours and didn't even get to do everything. Even with some areas closed off like the water area. Has several playgrounds that kids can use in between cleanings. Exhibits and activities are opened for 40 minutes with a 20 minute cleaning in between. No food inside, but they didn't stop us from bringing in water or snacks for the kids. Best part was digging up dino fossils, but the kids loved playing with brick and making a city. They've also got a dress up area, science hall and kitchen (we were too young to make bouncy balls or take cooking lessons) Looking forward to exploring the rest of it.

Our kids had a fantastic time at the Children's Discovery Museum. Firstly entrance was $Free (just remember to bring Passport for ID). Inside had many different types of activities. Highlights for us were the outdoor adventure playground, water play area, fossil discovery and Level 3 of the main building which had Lego building, city planning building and animal stage theatre role play. Unfortunately, most of the Level 1 and 2 exhibits were old, broken or not working as they have been clearly not maintained perhaps due to lack of funds. Nevertheless, our children still had a great time overall and we spent many hours here.

An interesting place to bring the kids.. Free entry, just need to show the passport for registration. Playgrounds, excavation fossil site and many more activities. Didn't had the chance for the waterplay as it was closed since it was raining. More crowded on a late weekend afternoon. Tired the kids out before heading to Chatuchak market.

It's a nice place for kids. It's free to enter. But it gets very crowded on weekends and classes for kids might be full unless you go early. You have to register to enter your kids in the classes. There is a splash pad but it's only opened specific times. Same for activities and exhibitions - they close it every half hour or sp for cleaning. I find the whole process a bit complicated. But its fun for kids.

This place has a lot of nice attractions for kids, we visited on a weekend so it was quite full and we would have needed to wait around 20 min to enter the more fun sections of the museum which we chose to skip. There were parts that were out of service. The best sections for the kids where the dinosaur digging sandpit and the outdoor play area and the splash pad. Overall I feel if they make it ticketed and use the extra funding to get all the facilities up and running that would be amazing. It was still a fun experience for the kids

(Translated by Google) Thematic children's center in the Queen Sirikit folder. All in all an interesting place. There is a large climbing platform, plus smaller platforms, plus an area with fountains and two buildings with different attractions. In the first one there are zones of creativity, archeology, constructors, master classes, shadow theater. In the second - a library (there are books in English), a playground for kids from 0 to 2x, a playground for older children (like a city of professions). The kids loved it! Now they carry out antiquarian treatment every 20-40 minutes, depending on the zone. And it's all free!
