I loved this little museum when I visited before COVID. However they are retrofitting it with weird LED lighting and it looks like a cheap night club now, what a stupid idea!

Wonderful museum of natural history. It is located in the territory of Chula University. Exciting collection of stuffed animals, insects, birds, reptiles. Classic animal body conservation with formaline. It is free to visit and open museum, no guides are provided. Some exhibitions are air conditioned.

(Translated by Google) Be sure to check out this museum. Of course, this is not as spectacular as in New York or Berlin, but there is something to see. Husbands are more like laboratories for the study of biology, but this does not detract from the value of exposure. In one room there is a general exposition, in another - only turtles, in the third - insects. There are several more rooms, but they are closed, I hope not for long. Admission is free, but some rooms need booklets to take off their shoes.

Very interesting museum related to butterflies, beetles and other animals. What I particularly liked was the aura and the smell of bygone times, a journey into the past... Chulalongkorn University, an elite school for Thai high society, is also located on the same grounds...

It's filled with plenty of stuffed/taxidermy animals, wet specimen and a skull/skeleton. It's a place you should visit once in a life, you might not into this kind of stuff but I really think you'd like it. There are a lot of informations on each specimen which I think is pretty fascinating. The human skeleton, wet specimen is kinda spooky though.

Great free, self service museum. It's a bit dimly lit and a bit overcrowded.. But it is free and has lots of wet and dry specimens. If you're interested in the Thai local natural history, or you like science and are in the area, try to visit all the free university museums, there are quite a few on the campus. Take note that many of them only open on certain days and for short hours, so do plan your trip well in advance and watch the time!

Its a small collage level museum. Its very small with few halls and a small collection. Mostly only Thai languge descriptions. Recommend to visit ONLY if you can spare the time to do so. Its also free.

Was a bit disappointed that the big room is under renovation. However, the department students & staffs here are helpful & friendly make it up for us. Other rooms are available upon request. We visited turtle room, insect room & snail room. Probably it’s best to come after renovation work is done.

More like a museum museum, shows a semi random collection of items from the Victorian era, many untouched for 100 years. Quite a few curiosities like a human skeleton with a massive rib cage. Google image translate is you friend here. There is a more modern section on insects which is interesting too. Finding your way into the museum is challenging at first as there is no sign. It's free even for foreigners

A pretty good museum but it's in a bad upkeep. Super dark even in day time, I had to use the light on my phone to shine on things I want to see.

(Translated by Google) Interesting museum with easy access by public transport or own car. A pity not to have English translation, which is absolutely understandable since it is a museum within a university. (Original) Museu interessante com fácil acesso por meio de transporte público ou carro próprio. Uma pena não ter tradução em inglês, o que é absolutamente compreensivo já que se trata de um museu dentro de uma universidade.

A little bit hidden between the campus and classes of the univerity. But when you are there, you have to climb the stairs first. Before you see the beautiful collection of stuffed / skeleten animails. Its free to visit. And we went there because it was raining, so a nice way to spend an hour or 2.

They’ve done the best with what they have. The taxidermy is in bad shape, but one can’t be upset that they haven’t replaced them with newly killed creatures. The bone displays are pretty cool.

Self service museum. No one (guest) around. No staff around. Scary. Text and information are in Thai. Cannot understand. Sadly. Peace of advice... Do provide English text for tourist to read and learn more.

👍👍 I give a shot at 5 am for dawn vibes, in the morning, they already opened, quite half of them. You can find food, has breakfast at 6 am, only on ground floor, the 1st floor (know as 2nd floor for thai people) is open around 10 am.
