Beautiful little museum and coffee shop. It showcases the history of Portuguese-Thai relations in the past century. The Portuguese were the first European country that had trade relations with Thailand, formerly known as Siam. Reaching back to the Ayutthaya period in the 17th and 18th century (Ayutthaya was destroyed and fell to the Burmese in 1767). This quaint house introduces the visitor to the influence of Portuguese in every day life in Thailand. Including vocabulary that was adopted in the Thai language. The coffeeshop is nice as well. The whole neighborhood is worth a visit.

Really love the coffee shop at Baan Kudichin. The small coffee shop and museum in the riverside settlement along Chao Praya. I really like the thai tea and drink it in the small garden at the void. You can chit chat and take a photo with your friend in the garden because it's so instagramable. The museum can tell us when Portuguese came to Thailand. This housing area was related with the story, it's proven by so many Portuguese snack and architecture in there.

To be a learning source of local culture including tradition , language , religious, as well as cooking culture and food recipes of the Siam – Portuguese lineage who still lives in the area.

Excellent little museum. The displays are all well signed in Thai and English and informative without being too detailed and boring. The conversion of the house is well done and the personal flavour it has gives the while place a human dimension that these venurs often lack. The cafe is also super: good coffee and food, excellent service and a terrific ambience. Easy to find from the church.

Baan Kudi Chin Museum... Take a coffee break and look inside the museum... Ms. Navinee... the owner welcomed and chatted warmly... Land in this area... King Taksin bestowed it on foreign soldiers who helped to save the land... Including Portuguese soldiers...who have passed down the line from generation to generation to the present...

(Translated by Google) Use a beautiful, 3-storey old wooden house to showcase past appliances and tell the story of the Portuguese origin of the community of Kudichin. The ground floor is shady with trees and is a corner selling food and coffee. Recommend to try the Portuguese Recipe The museum is open for free admission every day. Impressed by the staff who were very welcoming and hospitable. A lovely small local museum with cafeteria. This house is dedicated to the community and turn to local museum. The story inside is over hundred years history of community that Thai Portuguese and Chinese live together from Ayutthaya period, very interesting. Also they have a cafeteria inside serve with good coffee dessert and food. Staff are nice and friendly. This musume is located in the middle of community area you can only access by foot. However the nearest parking space is in Kallayannamitr Temple. Also, boat trip is recommended for this area.

Interesting musem of the history and role of the Portuguese in Siam. The house itself is carefully preserved by ancestors of the Portuguese, who settled here. Several artefacts are exhibited upstairs. Nice view on the Kudichin community and Chao Phraya River. There is a nice cafe downstairs with good coffee and desserts.

The place is clean, has a lot of interesting past stories, not far by boat or car. There are some shops selling delicious snacks and a coffee shop with nine tables. You can sit and drink. It's next to Santa Cruz Church. You can also walk along the Chao Phraya River to see Kuan Yin Temple and Kalayanamit Temple. In conclusion, it's good, beautiful and worth taking photos.

This museum is privately funded and the level of the quality exceeds some of the publicly funded museums! If you happen to be around this neighbourhood, I strongly recommend you to take some time and visit this amazing place. Also, Muffin, the cat at the place, was so cute!
