Rented a bicycle for only 60baht for the day. I used it for a few hours and enjoyed the views and the ride. The park us not too big but it is beautiful. It has a lovely little coffee shop where you can stop for a nice rest and relax for a while. It has beautiful picnic spots around the lake too.

Highly recommend to come :) You can rent the bicycle here. The distance is good for family with young kids. You can buy water and snack in the park however if you can pack some food for a picnic will be great !! Transportation: By boat 🚤 at Bangna Pier By car 🚘 the road is small but still convenient

Rent a bike to cycle your way across the island and through the park. Several hiking and biking lanes through a verdant jungle.... some wooden walkways closed for cycling but open for pedestrians. Coffeeshops dotted across the park and through the island. Come earlier in the day before heat builds... and maybe an umbrella or poncho if the rain hits... fun day out...

This place is so nice to look around by bicycles than by walking. you can rent bicycles in front of gate of that park. This large fertile park with numerous kinds of plants is home to various kinds of animals, for example, birds, butterflies, squirrels, bats, etc. Especially, i think it's the best site for watching birds on the way to the birdwatching tower. This park is the best date site for couples riding bicycles ^^

It's a must-see when you are staying in Bangkok longer than 4 days! The perfect contrast to the busy, loud and hot city - a nice place to cool down, enjoy nature and learn something about Thai forests. I recommend renting a bicycle and driving around the island of Bang Kachao. Really enjoyable tour - 5/5, would do again!

A great place to visit if you like to find the greenery nearby Bangkok. It’s good to visit here late afternoon or evening as it’s not too hot. In winter, weather will be so chill and you find a good bike track and where you you can feed the fish in the canal. There are few places to rent the bike starting from ฿40.-. You will find interesting plants and birds here.

A short boat ride but it feels a million miles away from the busy city, didn't even feel like we were in Bangkok, great to experience the beauty of nature, highly recommended. There are places to rent bicycles if you want to cycle and a few cafes dotted around the outskirts of the park.

Small but clean and plenty of greeneries. Beautiful trees. Ideal for cycling. Relatively smooth but windy roads around the lake. Can easily rent a bike at the Bang Kra Jao jetty. 30-40 baht/hour (depend on simple or mountain bike). 1km away from jetty. There were a few cafes. Public toilet available Place wasnt busy on a friday morning

Basically like a park with a beautiful lake in it. Free for entrance. Its a large park, you can feed the fish on lake by buying the bread nearby the lake. it was cheap, around 20THB for a bunch of bread. there is a bird watch tower with a good view. This place usually busy on weekend. There is some food and beverage store (some are small cafe) inside the park area with reasonable price, so you can take short rest in it after cycling. Worth to visit if you're tired of the business in Bangkok. Have a great short escape!

Huge park, great for cyclists, lots of small cheap restaurants dotted around. Wear sunscreen and bring shades. M Bike hire out bikes with baskets for 100 baht per bike. Bring I'd as they keep this until you return the bike. 100 baht buys all day.

Great place for a day out of the big city. You can rent bikes everywhere at the pier and drive around on the island, also called as the green lung of Bangkok.

This place is known as the oxygen of Bangkok is the perfect place to relax on the off chance that you don't have much time, or for those who don't like long trips to other provinces. This will allow you to absorb the natural atmosphere as well. For traveling, we recommend you take the BTS then the boat across the Chao Phraya River because the parking lot is limited. When coming off the shore, we will find many bicycle rental shops for the trip. You will find many bicycle rental shops you can rent the bicycle with only your ID and they will have a map where you can cycle along the way, soaking up the nature, when you reach the park, you can park and go for a picnic. Most notably, the wooden bridge is a popular photo spot in the park, so you can cycle in the park because the garden is quite large and has many parts, or you can take your pets for a walk, it is also a place to relax and relax. After working hard, it has been really good.

A beautiful afternoon exploring Sri Nakhon Park in Bang Krachoa known as Bangkok's 'Green Lung' for the natural forest & clean air. It's a very popular place for renting bikes or walking and feels worlds away from the bustling streets of the city. Boardwalks over waterways, mangrove forests & coconut groves all providing a strong connection to nature.

Though small, this park is beautiful and well-maintained. It has network of waterways/river and a lake. Perfect for cycling and walking. There is also a spot for bird-watching. There are some coffee shops surrounding the park where you can rest and have some cold drinks.

It's a remote local park from the main touristy area in Bangkok. There is a bird watching tower. During my short visit there I've seen many species of birds. I took a cab there and we asked our driver to wait for us when we went into the park because there were no taxi readily available. Also, the number of butterflies there is spectacular.

the atmosphere is very calm, and being in the park is like being in a different province- it's hard to believe you're in Bangkok anymore. i personally recommend renting a bike and going through the dense forest areas along the bike route. it's a unique experience. however, one thing i don't recommend is renting a bike from a location very near the park itself, those are a bit janky- you should rent a bike outside the general park area and bike into it. if you'd like, you could even bike all around bang kra chao, but you should refer to some locals or maps first. the biking trail in that area is superb, though.

Amazing place for cycling. You can rent a cycle for 40tbh and ride inside the huge park. The park is covered with white trees so it's always shady. They have a water body and lawn to relax and enjoy. Take your picnic basket and mat. You will love this place with your loved ones. You can reach this place by ferry or take taxi.

Always a strange feeling to rate a park out of 5. Out of all the great places in Bang Kachao, this was the highlight of my trip. A beautiful and well managed park. I was able to ride my bike through all the park trails. The wildlife was incredible too. Saw an abundance of fish, various species of birds and some Monitor Lizards! I'll always visit this place when I'm next in Bangkok.

Nice place to chill. Unfortunately, the roads for bicycles are not very long, but its still takes sometimes to go through them, and I'm happy they exist. In the front of the park there's a small shop where you can rent bikes of your own taste. (They have 30 or more) Overall, great place to spend the weekend.

The best park within Bangkok to breath fresh forest air and get away from the noise of the city and overcrowded streets. Pros: • Best air freshness and purity in the whole Bangkok, thanks to the location which is a lil away from the city central part and forest-like concentration of the trees. • You can rent and ride a bicycle for 60, 80 or 100 baht. Nice way to relax after busy weekdays, take a slowly ride on the tight roads of this park between the trees. • After a ride, you can comfortably settle the picnic in front of the park’s pond and enjoy the time with your family, friends or one week long friends with benefits. • There are few cafetières within the park with nice coffee. After few shots of coffee you’ll get decent nitrogen-like boost effect for increasing riding speed and extract from it even more fun at this park. • For the fish lovers, they can feed the fish in the pond. • It could be a con as well, to reach this park you have to take a boat from one pier to another one. Quite unique way and gives you an extra activity during the visit to the park. While swimming on the boat you can enjoy the view of Chaophraya river. • You can rent bicycles right after deployment on the pier, there are options for 60, 80 and 100 baht. For 100 baht you’ll get kind of cheap looking mountain bike. Cons: • For the bicycle ride, this park is quite small. Fast riding will let you finish one lap around the park in just 8-9 minutes, if the traffic isn’t disastrous on your way. Double or triple this time for slowly, relaxing riding. Overall, not enough road length for a decent long ride. • Some park road parts aren’t asphalted, so be ready go off road on the city style bicycles.

Fully satisfied with beautiful scenery, lots of shades and cool bike riding. Definitely will visit again. It’s an urban park, but you would feel like you’re in a deep forest. FYI, the park itself is free. I paid 80 bhat for renting two bicycles only. Since I didn’t bring my ID, I put 100 bhts as deposit and got it back when I returned the bikes.

Not far from anywhere in Bangkok this literal green osasis is a must see for locals and tourists alike. Cheap bicycle rentals afford you the opportunity to explore the grounds. Climb the stairs of the bird tower for a true bird's-eye view of the tree tops and the variety of birds. Or if you'd rather just stroll the grounds. Picnics are a natural here, although my family likes to go to one of the nearby Outdoor dinning restaurants with succulent grilled chicken, somtum and sticky rice. No matter what your choice it's a great getaway to this marvelous place. Unfortunately, things are chaging. The rude old man at the gate is now the photography police. We never had an issue before but now he says we can only take pictures with our phones. And he didn't say it nicely, he was extremely rude to my family. I think the parks department needs to retire some if these people or at the least teach them about how to speak politely. I will think twice about going back there. Maybe if enough people get treated badly things could change?

People would normally visit Ban Nam Pheung market first , then if they are interested, they can cycle over here. There are clear signs on how to reach here. There is a bird watching tower but it's just a tower you can climb the stairs up and it's quite unlikely you will see any birds if you reach the top unless at specific times of the day ? Can finish exploring this park in about 20 minutes.

If you are looking for a great place to spend some quiet time this is it. Its like being in a small piece of paradise in a sea of Chaos. Its just across the river from one of the ports at Klong Toei, yet you feel you are in the middle of the Amazon. The park has plenty of walking and riding paths. You cant see or hear the city, and the island its on has no Highrise. Its accessible by car over a small bridge. There is also a market and plenty of small coffee shops. Well worth a visit

Ok as a big city natural park. Warm, muggy, muddy in certain path with mosquitoes after the rain. Tips for bike renting:30baht bike is mostly good enough, check the front basket size that suits your belonging, a comfort saddle and hard-to- slippery paddles.

  • 3/5 L’ A. 1 year ago on Google
It’s a beautiful park that’s full of water (small lakes, canals, and brackish swamp areas). The drawback is that it’s a little bit far from the main areas of Bangkok. Lumpini and Benjakitti Parks are very nice as well and we felt it really wasn’t worth the trip to Sri Nakhon Park. When we were there in a Tuesday afternoon there were very few visitors so we had virtually the entire park to ourselves.

Do not miss coming here if you’re in Bangkok! Can be a bit of a hassle to get there but once you’re on the island, it’s so easy to rent a bike and just spend the day exploring. So beautiful and the people we met were very friendly and helpful!

One of the best and underrated places in Bangkok. Most tourists didn't know that they can find a peaceful place like this within the busy city of Bangkok.
