I shopped at Pantip Plaza for many years. It was such a great place for everything IT. I had not visited for a number of years. What a shock. I was expecting a lively place where I could view all things technical. I found a Ghost Town.

Stores start to pick up to their normal activities after COVID restrictions. Great place for IT shopping: computers, phones, TVs, speakers, IT equipment and accessories. Price is good too. Things are easy to find here as the store is a circle at every floor a d you could spot anything from the center.

A sad old shell of its former glory. The mall is mostly empty with a few computer/electronics shops on ground floor and 4th floor. I saw only one shop (Yiwu trade company) that looks to be related to trading. Nothing about AEC wholesale food businesses whatsoever. On the upper floor, it seems there would be a new food court. Tables and food stalls have been installed, but left empty as of Feb 2024.

Everytime we visit Bangkok we go here. It has always been one of our favorite malls. It has been a paradies if you wanted to buy electronics, 5 floors packed with stored and it was always busy with people. Today we went the first time after the COVID lockdown and we were shocked. COVID seems to have killed it. There are only a few stalls left in the third floor and even there were a lot of empty stores. The food court was also closed. It was like a ghost Mall; I really hope that next time we visit it will be in it's former glory again. This was a really sad experience that really showed the effect that COVID had.

There are a lot of vacant slots. It looks like a ghost building. But on the 3rd floor, there are some PC gadget shops. I found various kinds of motherboard and graphics care and so on here. Probably here is one of the good places to buy PC gadgets in BKK.

I visited this place 3 years ago. It's was very lively. This is the place to come to for your electronic and digital fix. But now ( Dec 2022 ) it's like a ghost town. The COVID situation just killed it. Hopefully not too long from now..... things would get better, and Pantip could show what it was like in its heyday. Update: visited December 2024. The situation is the same. The place is still empty

Currently opened Shops are only on the 3rd Floor. All the other floors are closed. On the 3rd Floor, not all shops are opened. I will say, around 30% shops are opened. The products price are quite expensive and it's not the high quality products... 😏

Empty place, the 3rd floor have computer shops but they are wayyyy overpriced...if you want to buy parts get them from the malls just the same price.

Indeed, the first two floors are empty, but there is a lot on the third floor (computers, printers, speakers, cameras, accessories, etc), for good prices.

Wholesale Computer and repairs . Cheaper place good and nice to buy a new laptops.. but this time of pandemic covid 19.. some store inside the mall are closed, but there some are still open....

This used to be the best place for IT related things. I visited today, Dec 9 2021 and there is really nothing left anymore. On the first floor they were even making some kind of food exhibition. If you are looking for IT things you can better go to Fortune mall or MBK. This mall is really a waste of time.

first time visited pantip mal in 2018... sonce from far that tto... now 2022nov.. everything change. not much crowded ..many shop remaining Close...! many under renovation.. i buy my computer ram and laptop ram... and some 64gb pendrive .. yes low price... but compare to fortune IT mall and pantip it mall i prefer to go fortune it mall.. very nice and cheap good to get all you need... smile..😀

This is the electronics mall in bangkok. One can repair and buy any gadgets here. Also wholesale food market is there

Once an IT geeks paradise, now an almost empty multi story mall. Sad to see. Only a handful of stores left. More likely a COVID casualty.

Adjacent to the Platinum Fashion Shopping Centre and centrally located, I most recently bought a USB stick here on the ground floor, from a spread out concessionary stand which had a humongous range of such accessories (with varying storage capabilities) in addition to their main offering of notebook-style laptops. Good service indeed.

Everyone is your best friend until they try to rip you off. Prices are too high right now, and they won't negotiate. Finally. I just bought what I wanted online because it was so much cheaper.

Pantip plaza has gone way down since the covid outbreak, but although it’s only at about 10% occupancy, there are still several options for new and used equipment. Maybe not enough to keep prices at their lowest, but I found the sellers eager to make a sale. Saw some good deals on second hand laptops, if that’s what you need. And plenty of repair services. Still a few software sellers on the 3rd floor too. Food court is gone. Renovations are in progress, so hopefully this place is on the rise and can one day return to its glory days.

. One of the biggest shopping center in Bangkok . Once it's opening in September 1st , it's still quite especially for the first and second floor, . I just go to the third floor in the computer and service center

Most shops are gone!! It used to be the place for geeky boys to go, sadly not much going on anymore. Very sad!!

Unfortunately the mall is basically empty. Covid closed down most of the businesses. A few left on the 3rd floor but that's it. Sadly not worth the effort of going there.

This is a complete package of IT equiptments, spare parts of cameras , CPU, hardware, software, latest notebook, up to microphone condenser, etc. everything you will find here up to fourth floor. Restaurants, fast foods are available here also Thai food. Sellers here are friendly but seems stress for selling their items because even they approached you they're not smiling. Come here for computer repairs, spare parts, software and electronic equipment. This mall is pretty big.

Good prices for electronic devices, But the mail is half empty most of the shops closed after coronavirus All the shops are from the 3rd floor

This mall is quiet, not like previous. Anyway I found my Samsung laptop battery here. Not like other mall I went, I have to wait for 2-3 days.

As of now there are hardly any shops open compare to the before covid times... Business is dull and no tourists here... It's like a dead Mall... Will update my review next year...

Not a good place to buy a new computer. The mall is 80% abandoned. Just a few junk shops and China electronic booths. Better stuff at Fortune Town Mall.

Now it has not many people and shops. But it seems like new outlets are being prepared post covid period. Parking space available 20 baht per hour for normal time l. Late charges applied.

When I was there 80% of the shops were closed, I don't know why but I think renovations are in progress. Still worth a visit if you are looking for computers, laptops, smartphone and accessories, this is the place to be.

Pretty much all of the tech stores are gone only a few stores and I mean linke 10 or so still exist. Looks like there renovating or everything has closed down I'm not sure but this place used to be my Mecca,,😢😢😢

Quite surprised that inside this mall had a lot of outlet showcase of action figure. One of my favourite time spend at Bangkok, to take a look of these figure and took some photo. Really great.

It is a place for burgaining. Shop owner tell a price of 5 times of actual price and came down 3 times of the original price. All are cheap electronic most of them from China Some places are good at 3rd floor for electronics spare parts.

good place to shop cloths. dont go with electronics. if u want to buy any electronic should go in authorized shop only.

Update as of February 2023. This mall was hit very hard by Covid impact. More than 1/2 the mall is empty. Lights dimmed and a bit depressing. There are still some merchants holding up and doing their best to provide customer service. If you are in the area try to support them by buying from them or they too may close down. Wish them speedy recovery. Good prices on many items and some hard to find items.

In years past, this place was filled with various computer and gadget stores where you could find anything, but now it is almost empty. The first photo was made 26.06.2015 and the second one 18.02.2023.

Unfortunately, the cause of the shopping center, which has shrunk by almost 90% and has uset tu have the best IT shops in the whole city, is not Corona but a new owner of the shopping center. Exact research has revealed this. the new owner is the daughter of the previous owner she wants a shopping center with groceries and clothes (fashion) as if there weren't already enough in all of Bangkok. it seems the young lady doesn't really know much about the business.

Totally empty (for renovation / exhibition). From what I heard the old Pantip Plaza, home to an amazing IT bazar is for ever gone... So sad, just like Suan Lum Night Bazar the old days are gone.

Expected a lot more, but unfortunately only part of one of the upper floors had operational stalls (the rest - literally empty)Not really sure why but the rest of the mall appar to be empty.... completely empty stalls with no signs of any activity... Not really sure what's going on... If it's the aftermath of covid or if it's undergoing some renovation? Hopefully it'll bounce back. Having looked at previous reviews and photos, it's evident it was not always like that.

The only mall in Thailand that won't let us enter without mask! Very stupid because the mall looks dead empty. All other malls are OK to shop without mask. Mask are not required by law anymore in Thailand. Stupid decision by mall manager because we were going to spend 50,000B++ on electronics to take home. The mall will make no money with dumb decision. 11/10/22

One of the best place to buy basic electronic items in Bangkok. Now it has become more of a mobile gadget center. But still you can find computer parts and some basic electronic items. Price is not much cheap as you think. I think Bangkok has become expensive now. Almost 80% products they sells here comes from China and Thaiwan. Most items you can order for half of the price from online.
