BoBae Market and BoBae Towers. Some parts of this market are actually in Pathumwan District near the Hualamphong Railway Station. In Krung Kasem road, but to save confusion its all added to Pom Prap Sattru Phai district, after all its still all Bangkok. It is not confusing to Thai people, it’s still Bobae Market and district lines mean nothing to them especially if they work there. I love visiting this market, it’s so crazy. The narrow passageways, almost seems like a prison sentence for the people working within them. It’s confined, it’s hot, it’s humid and in many places so crowded its not easy to make progress to buy or sell. This market caters for bulk buyers and is therefore very cheap if you know how to drive a hard bargain. As you pass over the canal Khlong Phadung Krung Kasem this canal splits the market in two, then cross the Krung Kasem road, take the one narrow passageway ( along Khlong Mahanak ) leading to Bobae Towers, swift and noisy ferry boats pass along the canal creating a huge wash that gives the locals on the sides a few problems. This passageway is no more than a metre wide, so be prepared to side step before you reach the other end. This then opens up on Bobae Towers building. It’s a bit like the Day the Earth stood still. The traffic here is terrible. However, there is also plenty to see and do here. Bobae Market is a major low-cost clothing selling area. It is located on a section of Krung Kasem Road between Lan Luang Road and Bamrung Mueang Road on the northeast border of the district. Nice place for shopping. You can experience road side like shopping inside an air-conditioned mall. Spread across 6 floors with parking. But they do charge for parking. Charged me around 60 baht for 2 hours. Restrooms are available inside . Most of the shops sells clothings. For kids and adults at reasonable price. Some shops encourage bargaining. Whereas some are adamant about price negotiation.

There is a morning market in this place starting at 1.00 am. There is a huge amount of clothes specially for women and children. Hundreds of small stalls are available in both sides of the road. Some have reasonable prices.

Good place to buy clothes for the wholesale price. There's a parking structure on the back of the market. I highly recommend going early in the morning. As early as 5am to get the bargain and selection.

If you're looking for common souvenirs with a limited budget and good quality items, bo bae market is the place to be. For the same item or even better the price here is much cheaper than Chatuchak weekend market. Especially if you buy in wholesaler, you will get free item. Prepare a big bad if you intend to shop here. They collection of dresses and other items also unique and cute. I feel want to buying everything.

Hands-down my favorite place to shop for cool T-shirts and clothes with swag in Bangkok. I come here every time I visit the city and I can always walk away with a bag full of awesome clothes. Great prices and friendly shopkeepers. You will find hidden gems. The price is right.

Multiple floors of clothing wholesale stores. At a T-shirt shop, we have to buy quantity of 12, 24, 36 shirts and they must be the same size. We can’t even buy 12 XL shirts and get another shirt, 13th. But another shop would sell us 2,3 pants and we get volume discount if buy 6.
