Well it is always good to have a pure vegetarian restaurant whenever you are travelling. This restaurant served delicious food and was also conveniently located near Nana BTS station. Well we had paneer Subzi, parathas, samosa chaat and dosa here. Although the chutney and the sambhar were ok in taste. They can still improve that. The plain dosa was perfectly crisp and relishing. The North Indian food was very good here. Everything was freshly served and was relishing. The staff was very good. They had a prompt service. Overall we enjoyed dining at Dosa King restaurant.

Loved the place. Nice authentic South Indian food. Mr. Diwakar was very helpful and guided me for the tourist options. Have visited Dosa king many times in the past as well. Consistent quality and fast service is their hallmark. I asked for fast service as my cab was about to arrive in 30 mins. But they served my order in less than 10 mins and I was free in 25 mins. Loved the green chutney. The staff is equally courteous and prompt. Location of Dosa king is near by and easily accessible. It has passage from back also in case you want to visit from the back street.

The worse service ever. Nobody treats you well and they are very rude. I asked for one meal, they bring me another completely different and told me that i ordered that one. As if i wouldnt know what i ask for. Despite that, its expensive for what really deliveres. Wouldnt recommend for anyone, horrifying experience. Im sad bc im vegan and always support full vegan restaurants.

Food quality is very good. Service was nice. But prices are super expensive. Paid 750 baht for 2 dishes and 2 drinks. But compared to Dosa Express nearby they don't have fake reviews and genuinely good.

Some really good Indian food in the streets of Sukhumvit. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for some Indian authentic food. Mango lassi wasn’t the best we’ve had. But it’s good

Had a masala Dosa and Aloo Gobi (hopefully the spelling is right 😂 which is potatoes & cauliflowers with gravy). Food tasted great but it would have been better if they had some chilli or spicy puree for the Dosa. Other indian restaurants I've been to always provide those. The staff told me it doesn't come with the Dosa and didn't ask if I would like to have some. Service would be much better if they take more initiatives in asking. Pricing is slightly high in my opinion for the two dishes I ordered. Spoke with the boss during billing and he was a friendly guy. They provided two small packets which I'm unsure what is that. He took time out to explain it's to clear the bad breath after your meal consumption. Overall,a great experience of Indian food here in Bangkok!

It was our last night in Bangkok and we were craving authentic Indian food, our tailor at Paul Bespoke recommended us to dine at Dosa King. Our group (1 Taiwanese, 2 Hong Kongers, 1 Singaporean) arrived 20 minutes before closing time, but the staff served us well nonetheless. The food and ambience were great, but the price was a little steep though, having tasted equally good if not better Indian food in Singapore. I'd probably visit again, the spinach masala dosa/thosai and chutneys are to die for.

It is extremely sad to see the quantity of sambhar & Chuttny with one plate of idli. Sambhar is just half of the small box & chuttny is packed in a tiny box that too half. I asked for 2 white chuttny as i cancelled the green one. When I asked to Atleast fill box until Top the waitress straight away refused & asked for extra charges. Both the things are watery & doesn’t seem to be appealing. Overall bad experience

Quite pathetic service and stingy mindset. I ordered for Sambar rice, they give separately both. I ask why its like that, the staff tells me this is how it should be served. How dumb, have they seen dal kichidi given separately rice and dal. None of the restaurants charge you extra in Bangkok if you ask for little more Sambar or chutney. Unfortunate restaurant

Having dined here on multiple occasions, this is surely the best Indian Restaurant in Bangkok. Delicious fresh food made whole heartedly with an honest desire to feed the people. Staff very polite and attentive, and Anandbhai being an amazing and good hearted person. Going here is a must on any trip to Bangkok. Enjoy like I did.

The best option to have vegetarian food in the whole of Bangkok! I tried Pav Bhaji and Butter Dosa. Plus the restaurant owner’s son is very friendly. Talk to him if you are curious to know more about Thailand from an Indian origin’s perspective.

Good food and mainly suitable for vegetarians in Bangkok. This place has a variety of Dosa, and other options of South and North Indian food. spread. Tasty food. Accepts visa card. This place is very close to BTS and walkable. It has seating at the ground floor. Mostly post 11 pm, Dosa King stops taking orders. Do not serve alcoholic drinks and beer. Accepts visa card

When I first landed in Bangkok on being transferred there, the breakfast was bland and lunch missed due to not being sure whether it was vegetarian. Then, in the evening I landed at Dosa King! Next 15 days until I shifted to the apartment, each day I had dinner here. Great food, great service. I have seen a pride in the eyes of the staff, surely the owners cares for them the way he takes care of the quality of food! Thai waitress asking Whether the Dal should be the yellow one or the black one was totally unexpected. Entry is from two sides and the accountant even helped me on where to get groceries etc once I shift to the apartment.

Dosaking is an authentic pure vegetarian restaurant located in the heart of Bangkok. It serves both North and South Indian food. Though its quite expensive, but its worth it. Food quality is quite good. Staff is polite. Many options under Jain Food and No Onion No Garlic food category. Overall, its a good restaurant and a must visit for vegetarians.

Experience was average .. asked fr ghee thosai the waitress took it as ghee paper thosai..(note: ghee thosai means I don’t want it crispy!!) ; the table next to me , Sikh couple made a comment , they charged extra for chutney, lol 🤣.. I mean how much does it cost to make a chutney ? The quality of chutney was not up to my South Indian expectations, I’m sorry to say this .. coffee was served like a Nescafé not even an indian coffee .. not coming here fr indian experience food

DISCLAIMER As a matter of total transparency & honesty, I will be specific with my review. My evaluation is strictly based on 3 dishes which I had every single day for the past 5 days. And I ordered two dishes per visit. - Masala Dosa - Paper Dosa - Rava Masala Dosa WHAT I LOVED - The owner is always working in the restaurant and makes sure each and every one of his guests is well taken care off. - The food is absolutely fresh, delicious and well made. - The staff though Thai, are very well-versed with the Indian cuisine. And I found out later that they have been working there for many years. - The owner & the staff both speak Thai & English very well. - The entire team/management that is totally focused on ensuring 100% customer satisfaction - there is no way in the world you or anyone else would give anything less than the best ratings. CONCLUSION The owner literally makes sure he is there right from the time the restaurant opens to the last minute where it closes - you cannot but admire the attention to detail this owner gives his Brand. Which is why for me - Dosa King is truly the King of Dosas in Bangkok. And I absolutely and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone. LM PS - I tried 2 other vegetarian restaurants (which I will not name) but it was a terrible experience. So yeah - if its vegetarian & its Indian - this is my recommendation for you.

A crowded Indian restaurant in Nana area, and accessible via BTS. Serves 100% vegetarian Indian dishes, specialising in Dosa. Tried the onion pakora, fried papad, samosa, butter cheese dosa, masala dosa & paper masala dosa. All was nicely cooked and the portion is a plenty. Definitely worth to check out if you’re in the area. It can be a bit crowded during dinner time, but they’ve kept the seating area with good distance with each other.

Very good place specially for the vegetarians. It is not very easy to find the vegetarian restaurants in Bangkok. This place is like a heaven for vegetarian people. Very lavish ambience and cooperative staffs. Situated in the main road of Nana chawl. Here you will find many Indian restaurants but trust me this is one of the best. Taste as well as quantity of food. Do visit if you are nearby. Incredible India 😊 Incredible Taste .

I feel I have missed out by not coming here before. Food was cooked well and tasty. Pakoras were nice and crunchy Thai was plentiful and solo I struggled to finish it. Mango lassi was delicious Only small gripe I have was the dosa was a bit soggy but still tasted delicious. I will definitely repeat with the crew.

Had Poori Bhaji with Dahi today ie 13th Nov. Poori was more like a Bhatura and the Aaloo ki Subji was Sub Standard. I'd Rate it 6/10.

This restaurant deserves his good reviews! The selection of food is enormous and worth the money. The staffs are very customer oriented and understand English. I find bad reviews very inappropriate because these people work hard to give the guest a good time. Please think about it.

The dosa king is one of the best places for dining in Sukhumvit area of Bangkok. We had dosa, samosa chat and Punjabi thali. The food is overpriced, but the taste is authentic Indian. You can try dinner and enjoy the Indian menu here. Of course it is heaven for vegetarians.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Dosa King, a remarkable vegetarian restaurant in the heart of Bangkok. Established in 2002, Dosa King has perfected the art of vegetarian cuisine, leaving me thoroughly impressed. The restaurant's operating hours from 11:00 am to 10:30 pm, according to Thailand timings, make it convenient for any mealtime. As a devout vegetarian, I was delighted to find a place that exclusively caters to our needs. The menu at Dosa King is a true celebration of Indian cuisine, offering a diverse selection of South Indian delicacies and North Indian favorites. With plentiful options ranging from mouthwatering dosas to comforting paneer curries, there's something to satisfy every palate. Dosa King also offers an impressive selection of beverages and enticing combo offers. Whether you crave a refreshing mango lassi or a traditional masala tea, their drink menu is sure to quench your thirst. The combo offers provide a satisfying culinary adventure, allowing you to sample multiple dishes at once. The service at Dosa King is top-notch, with attentive and friendly staff eager to assist in any way they can. From the moment I walked in, I received warm smiles and prompt seating. The waitstaff was knowledgeable, offering helpful recommendations and accommodating special requests. Their commitment to ensuring a delightful dining experience shines through. The food at Dosa King is exceptional, with each dish thoughtfully prepared using quality ingredients and traditional Indian flavors. The robust flavors, well-balanced spices, and aesthetically pleasing presentation showcase the chefs' pride in their culinary creations. I was particularly impressed by Dosa King's inclusion of Jain food options, demonstrating their commitment to catering to diverse dietary preferences. This dedication to accommodating a wide range of needs further enhances the restaurant's appeal. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Dosa King to anyone seeking an extraordinary vegetarian dining experience in Bangkok. The excellent food, exceptional service, and welcoming atmosphere make it a must-visit. With its extensive menu, inclusive offerings, and commitment to quality, Dosa King deserves a perfect rating of 5/5 stars. During your stay in Bangkok, make it a point to visit this culinary gem and prepare to be delighted by a truly memorable meal.

The food here is really good and I’m so glad I got the dosa thali so I could try the various yummies and stuff my belly with deliciousness. I chose medium spicy, and some of it was pretty intense, but doable and quite tasty. Service was good too and a 10% service charge is included.

The atmosphere was nice. The menu was pretty big. I ordered a set that came with two curries, nan, salad, water, yogurt, and a few other things. My husband ordered paneer curry and rice with a mango smoothie. We liked it and will probably go back again. The wait staff was friendly and attentive too.

Finally visited this place after so many recommendations. It did not meet my expectations unfortunately. I don’t like to leave bad reviews but I genuinely expected a better experience for what I paid. The food was super oily salty and spicy. It was so oily, I had stomachache before I got home. It was so salty, I had to drink an entire 1L bottled water right after. One of the items was so spicy but that’s all it was. It wasn’t even tasty. In fact none of it was very tasty actually. Disappointed.

6th leisurely Solo visit to Thailand, 2nd time to this restaurant. Visited here first with my Mum in Sep 2013. Then in Aug 2022. Still the gem that it was back then. Brought back memories ❤️ 🍜 Menu: Expensive ($$), but you'll be spoilt for choices. Very good taste. 👥 Staff: Very alert and attentive. They always ask if you want anything more, which is so important! 🍱 I had Chhole Bhature twice. Thali not served after 6 pm. Missed having it during this Trip. Thank you, for this restaurant. It is included as a reliable option in my Bangkok Plans, by default. Four Stars, because it's expensive, and also because those delicious pickles (seen in the second 'Food photo') weren't served during the first time. No complaints though. Do check my BKK YouTube vlog at 'awakenwithsagar'.

Food was very nice, and uniquely for an Indian place they understand vegan means more than putting yoghurt on the side. Spacious and well decorated, a polite and friendly Sikh gentleman seems to be keeping things running smoothly in both kitchen and front of house. The Thai waitresses seemed polite eventually… but they should be cautious when giggling-snickering-staring at observant/perceptive customers. I was put off before my food arrived and expected the worst. But the friendly manager/owner and the tasty food soothed any initial irritation :) I wish this restaurant continued success - other Indian places nearby have a lot of catching up to do. Thank you!
