For a tiny little shotgun restaurant on Sukhumvit, it was pretty good. Its not as nice as their other one around the corner. Its prstty basic, but the food was good. The tandori chicken was real good and comes out on a little smoking grill. The Palak Paneer was good, and the bhiryani was also good. Shrimp masala, same. I think its a little cheaper than the other restarant as well. They serve up cold suds, too. Ill go back

I and my family attended to Indian Essence Art restaurant for a Sunday Brunch. We were treated so well. All food is delicious. However more than that is a service mind which all servers have it. All of servers always take care of customers. So impressed and absolutely recommend this restaurant for an Indian Food Lovers! ♥️

Really great tasty Indian food, probably some of the best you can get in Bangkok. Freshly cooked in a kitchen behind glass so you can check on the process. The food service is let down by fumbling service, and despite us being the only guests an early afternoon they forgot one dish, which still showed up on the bill. It was quickly deleted, but no real excuse. On a second visit almost a year later, service was still shaky, and the food had a bit less enthusiasm. Still recommended.

I don’t often eat Indian food but I believe I know all about food, taste and the chef's skills. After a long day work I headed to, Indian Essence Art in Sukhumvit 22 to meet a friend and enjoy a great meal. We ordered couple of things, the service, staff, food, cleanness were really awesome, food was served in just 7 minutes and the staff were really friendly and welcoming. The price and the portion are reasonable, not to mention it's the best Indian food in town. Try it and I believe you will enjoy it.

Best place to order delivery from. I usually order the vegetarian thali set and a samosa. Tasty meal overall and not to oily like other restaurants. Highly recommend this place

We ordered a Dosa and it was one of the worst.. we still charged full price even though the waiter said it was not right. It should be crisp but it's beyond soft.. the chef told the server, this is how it's done. I am busy...

Went here for dinner last night through Eatigo. Ordered the butter chicken and roast chicken on the side with rice. Everything was very tasty and would come back again. Staff was very accommodating when we asked for additional onions and chillis. Recommended. Venue was small and got inside. Even though there was 2 air-cons. This may be because the kitchen was right behind me.

We have visited Indian Essence Art from time to time. Things have always been good but it was great this time. From starter to fish course to meat course to dessert, all courses were fabulous. Cannot really miss this place.

Very modern and stylish restaurant with great delicious Indian food. The service is warm and welcoming, the food is excellent. We ordered several dishes from the menu for more variance and each dish served was excellent. We will go back soon, one of our new most favourite places to go, they have a very nice bar integrated into the restaurant too.

Definitely the best Indian food in Bangkok. .being a Indian this place is heaven and very reasonably priced. ..The food is finger licking good and the place is overall very hygienic with great staffs that have the knowledge of all the food on the menu. Definitely a must visit when in Bangkok.

Went there for a romantic dinner with my friend on a Monday evening. Really enjoyed the scenic view and the very relaxing lounge decor. Chairs were comfy, music was good. The food was delicious and the service great. Nothing to complain about! We paid 2000 baht for four dishes + extra rice + garlic naans + 4 glasses of wine (excellent wine selection). Great value for money! Will definitely come back soon.

I had my dinner here tonight and I can easily say that it the best restaurant in Bangkok that I've dined. The staffs are friendly, the service is awesome and above all the food is amazing. I recommend this restaurant to any tourist who is looking for authentic Indian food at a decent price. I am sure I will dine at this place every time I visit Bangkok. Hats off! keep up the good work!

We could visit Masala Express at the last evening of our Thailand visit. What an Indian would like? Tasty Indian food with amazing views of Bangkok city. The food was awesome and had taste more than expected. We also met the chef behind the food and tanked him too. Thumbs up! Keep it up guys :)

I occasionally visit Indian restaurants, but this proved to be by far my favourite experience. The presentation of our food alone was very elegant. The service was great. The ambience was perfectly pleasant and the live band was a total treat: very soulful singing. They offer the entire package - delicious food, terrific service, and lovely music. Excellent job!

I can honestly say I have eaten Indian food all over the world and this is the best by far. It's not a big place but is beautiful inside and staffs are attentive. Had a very big menu. I've been coming to Bangkok since 2018 and it's always the first and last place I eat when I'm here. Always worth spending the extra money to eat food where you know that quality has not been skimped on.

Indian Essence Art is my choice to go if it comes to Authentic Indian restaurant. Butter chicken and the biryani is the best seller menu in here. Very recommended, 5 out of 5.

Indian Essence Art is located off the busy street market area on Sukhumvit. The restaurant is a comfortable place, with a relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. The food is excellent and the servings were a good size. There is a good range of curries on the menu, so if you want a meal with a bit of heat, Indian Essence Art is a good place to go.

This is one of our favourite Indian restaurants in Bangkok. A but mild to our taste (preferring Southern Indian spicing), but one may eat veg, or non-veg here, and do well. We have brought Indians (from India, as well as some currently living in other countries), and all have been content.

I eat at Indian Essence Art at least once a week. It's amazing with very traditional flavours. I have recommended to many friends, both Indians and foreigners and there has never been a complaint. You must try it. Especially chilli paneer and Chicken korma. You can request the spice level according to your liking. Guarantee satisfaction. Reasonably priced, excellent food quality. Must try. Thumbs up!

Indian Essence Art is a culinary gem nestled in the heart of Bangkok, offering an enchanting blend of authentic Indian flavors and a vibrant dining experience. The restaurant's ambience is a delightful fusion of cultural elements, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. As you step inside, you are greeted with a pleasing aesthetic that complements the rich tapestry of Indian art. The star of the show is undoubtedly the food, a delightful symphony of spices and flavors that transport diners straight to the streets of India. The menu boasts an extensive selection catering to diverse palates, with an impressive array of vegetarian, non-vegetarian, and vegan dishes. Each dish is a culinary masterpiece, meticulously prepared to capture the essence of traditional Indian cuisine. For those unaccustomed to the bold flavors of Indian spices, the staff at Indian Essence Art are accommodating and encourage guests to inquire about the spice levels of their chosen dishes. This thoughtful touch ensures that everyone can savor the experience, regardless of their spice tolerance. The ambience is further enhanced by the soulful tunes of Indian music, creating a nostalgic journey through the decades. During my visit, the restaurant embraced the spirit of the '90s with a playlist featuring classic Bollywood hits, adding an extra layer of charm to the overall dining experience.

Highly recommended Delicious authentic North Indian. Our waiter been so friendly and attentive. They explain the menu and also recommend the food according to our liking. Due to his recommendation we ordered the Butter Chicken and we eat the best butter chicken of my life in Bangkok. Full marks to chef of Indian Essence Art.

During our stay in Bangkok we had visited this Restaurant many times. The service was very good. Food was also delicious. The portion they give is good to compare to other restaurants. It is value for money place. My friends enjoyed the food so much that they didn't want to go any other restaurant.

Appreciate meals during the pandemic situation; I went to this restaurant before the second lock down in Bangkok. I order goat mutton seems like it melts in my mouth like butter and rich taste and balance. For the drink I recommend “Sizzling Brownie with Hot Chocolate” which is worth trying once you will love it. I appreciate all of the services from all of the staff.

I am having their food from last one year, but I never share my feedback in any social media. They are maintaining the same quality and quantity with a consistent taste. And always welcoming and attentive service staff. Excellent work by team Indian Essence Art highly recommended place.

I was at this restaurant recently for a friend's birthday party and the food was delicious, well presented and the staffs are friendly. I would say, on average, it's about 1,000 baht per person. The location is also great. Don’t expect a fancy restaurant as it's not but the food is great. Will definitely go again.

I was at this restaurant before and liked their food. Went back two days ago and it was very bad experience. I have been having diarrhea and stomach pain since then. The meat was lamb, never had such bad meat, look blue, extremely dry, definitely old and cooked long time ago. The sauce was strange taste. I am extremely disappointed at Indian essence art.

An unassuming little place on sukhumvit that has surprisingly good food. I had chicken Handi Lazeez and some paratha which was amazing. Big servings and a decent price :)

I have been to many Indian restaurants, but India Essence Art was by far one of the best! High quality food, great taste, great staff - very friendly and attentive, delivering a warm and welcoming service. Also, the contemporary communal dining style is a great way to dine with friends or family! A truly entertaining dining experience with the chefs. Will be back for sure to get more of it.

Our search for Indian food in Bangkok ended with India Essence Art Cuisine. Visited multiple times during our stay and always enjoyed. The menu is not as big as we would find in India, but the taste is really good. They even had live Indian music which enhanced the experience.

  • 5/5 Chandrapal S. 2 years ago on Google
The restaurant decor was fresh and very refreshing in design, but I really enjoyed the food and its preparation. We ordered the set menu and each dish was well executed and very tasteful, using traditional Thai flavors/ingredients with a blend of modern and western cooking. I would love to go back and also try the other sister restaurants.

We asked a taxi driver to take us to a nice Indian restaurant and he brought. We had no idea what to expect however it was an excellent dining experience and the price was also reasonable given the level of service which again was excellent. I strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys good Indian food prepared to the customers taste and even to the extent of dishes which are not even on the menu. The chef was most accommodating and excellent in his preparation.

This restaurant is amazing. It is just the best fine dining Indian food that you can find in Bangkok. We had the luck of meeting the manager which provided us a great meal experience we believe that people like this make a great house. We hope he gets recognized.

The best Indian food we've ever had! In Bangkok .We have dined at Indian Essence Art Sukhumvit 22 with friends and family multiple occasions. We have consistently been super impressed. The menu, food presentation, service and ambience are excellent. and his team are very attentive and friendly. Highly recommended!

They have beautifully decorated and with very attentive staff. But the meal....the meal......Fantastic. Even the simplest dishes, like Dal and Cauliflower, were extremely tasty. My top favourites were the meat dishes. The chicken was moist and the two top dishes were Lamb-chops and the Leg of Mutton. Perfect. I shall be back again and again.

It’s a great place for some good North Indian food. With key locations in sukhumvit 22 India Essence Art is a good option for someone looking for a decent meal, value for money. It also provides deliveries to your place of stay even if it’s a hotel. We gave our order over the phone which was politely confirmed; we had some special requests which were taken care of. The food was promptly delivered. Go for it!

Went with an Indian friend and we both agreed that it was a fantastic evening. Service great, food fantastic, cocktails delicious... but what really pushes it over the mark from good to excellent is the creativity you find throughout the entire restaurant. The restaurant decor is great and gives you plenty of details to look at. Food extremely delicious! We will be back

The food is really great for me, they are very rich and delicious and there are many varieties to choose. I mainly focus on Indian food and they were great as I expected. The restaurant itself have a very great ambience, the table was comfortable. Chef is really kind and presents us with special dishes that we never tried before. It was a very present experience having bunch there. One tip: Try eating curry toward the end because due to it will make you really full.

  • 5/5 Dishu G. 1 year ago on Google
3 of us ate here and having travelled India previously we found the food at this place comparable and great value. The two chicken curries we ate had good quality meat and the curry was well spiced and had a good depth of flavour. The vegetarian in our group was equally as pleased with her curry. With a beer and a curry etc. Service was spot on for the cafe type environment it is. Enjoy

Went there for my friend’s birthday as a last minute decision for my friend to celebrate. We didn't make reservation but inform the manager that it was his birthday; he surprised him with a big and beautifully decorated cake and happy birthday played by saxophone. Was amazing! We are not big meat eaters and were so impressed with the quality of seafood on offer, try the seafood platter. Wines are affordable and good selection. Service was personal and attentive.

The place came highly recommended by a friend. Never eaten Indian food before this was an amazing experience! Guided in to a world full of sent and aromas you arrive in an amazingly decorated reception area with an open kitchen. Very nice dining experience and amazing service! A place not miss while in Bangkok!
