The only place in Bangkok that understands Jain preparation for food extremely well and still prepares tasty food. I have been coming to Bangkok every 3-4 months since 2005 and I always eat here. I have given up on most fine-dine restaurants in Delhi because of their sub-standard food, but I am always looking forward to dine here. This place is that great! They constantly work towards improving their quality and ensuring base standards every restaurant should provide. I highly encourage to eat here.

I had a delightful experience in February at Taste of India Restaurant in Bangkok, in the vibrant Khaosan road. The food was exquisite, bursting with authentic Indian flavors. The service was prompt and friendly, adding to the enjoyable dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant for those craving delectable Indian cuisine (Halal) while in Bangkok.

Taste of India Bangkok is located on Khaosan main road. It can be easily accessed. There is a marketplace outside the hotel. Various vegetarian and non-vegetarian food options are available. The taste of veg food items was good. We had two to three meals there. The owner Mr. Vikas welcomed us. What can be more satisfying than getting Indian food in foreign land. The restaurant is open to dine in from 11 am to 11 pm. The restaurant also delivers the food.

Really amazing Indian food. We had Indian food in 5-6 cities in Thailand. This was one of the best and pocket friendly place we tried. The chole bhature, gobhi paratha and chicken curry is awesome! It is better than few of the restaurants in India :D

Visited here on 19th & 20th May 2022. Dishes I had were really tasty and cooked to perfection. The restaurant is upstairs and had air-conditioning which was lovely. The waiter was really polite and helpful. Five Stars from me ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

The food is delicious for the Thai people's taste. The staff is very friendly and helpful, always recommend the food to our group. Also, the restaurant is quite hidden in the Kaosan road but not difficult to find it.

Just awesome. Really enjoyed the food here. If you want to taste Indian food in Bangkok and then go blindly to this place. It will not upset you. You will definitely enjoy here. Prices are also fine not too expensive. Must try Rasmalai.

This is very unique restaurant in the area of khaoson unique not just because of its taste but also because it has located about a club and in the daytime it's very easy to eat but at night time you have to pass through the club and go upstairs meanwhile the loud music keeps on shaking your chairs on the first floor. Having said that still their taste is good one for the price they are charging and every time I visit the restaurant it is full of people and most of the people apart from the noise and as far as the taste is concerned are having good time

The food was delicious!!! We order a variety of naan breads, curry, butter chicken, yoghurt with cucumber and one with potatoes and honestly I couldn’t stop eating. The only problem was AC running on full mode but the owner turned it off when we asked him

Authentic, flavorful and a comfortable environment. The garlic naan & chicken tiki masala were so tasty we scraped the bowl for every last taste! the portions aren’t super big for the price but i think it’s worth it based on how good it was! The server was so polite, helpful and friendly. It’s also very calm, quiet, and comfortable in here. It’s upstairs and tucked away from the noise of the busy street. If you are a lover of Indian food, come here!!

Great restaurant, warm service, and even better food. After eating local food for 5 days, this place was just heaven for us taking our taste buds back home, moreover the restaurant isn't too pricy so it won't pinch your pockets.

Food was decent, didn't really feel like there was love in any of the cooking. Food 3.8/5. Service, terrible. I walk in and sit down, no one bats an eye. Girl walks in, immediately receives a menu. I go find my own menu and then have to return to the counter to wave someone down to order. Same thing for paying, return to counter to pay to grumpy owner. Would not return. Sorry for potato photo

One male staff was friendly and female one was normally ok.After the meal, you'll be asked to rate them on Google map and it's a bit annoying personally to be asked and checked several times to be honest.Tastewise, garlic naan was tasty. My main dish was normally good.

The best Indian food I've tasted. It's been 5days in Bangkok and we have had dinner and dessert here every night. It's our best food destination until we leave Bangkok. If only they had a franchise in South Africa. Their Veg and non Veg meals are packed with intense flavor and wholesome goodness. Tastes that will never be forgotten. When in Bangkok make a stop here and you will definitely not be disappointed. 100stars

Some of the best Indian food you will find. Everything is fresh and made to order and the owner is amazing and hospitable. Right on Khao San Road. The chicken methi is really good! Very authentic and the meal just has a home made comfort feeling.

This is a small cosy air conditioned and clean enclave housing one of the best Indian food I've ever had in my life. Prices are highly competitive for the quality you get. My partner and I ordered the channa masala and the chicken tikka butter masala with saffron rice and garlic naan. The spice levels were expertly curated by the owner when we asked for varying levels of spice. The garlic naan was thin and crispy. The saffron rice was very tasty and not overly spiced. This place has beaten every Indian establishment I've eaten at in Singapore where I'm from. The owner explained that it is because their food is made only upon being ordered. Highly recommended place to eat at if you're an Indian food lover, and a great introduction to the cuisine if you're new (although prepare to be disappointed henceforth for every other Indian food you try thereafter). The masala chai was not overly spiced as well and was very flavourful. My only regret is I did not take pictures before eating so I can only share the aftermath.

We've been eating in this restaurant for 15 years and we're never disappointed. The food is delicious and nice service from gentle staffs. The price is reasonable considering the quantity in the dishes. 😋👍❤️

Excellent food and service. Also they have wines from Chile in the cave 😍 Highly recommend the “pani puri” and “panner butter masala”. With “garlic naan”. 🙏

Best Indian food I had in Thailand! A friend from home recommended this place to me, and I’m so glad it went! It’s a little pricey but well worth it. The food is delicious and the service is impeccable!

Amazing food!! I have loved everything that I have tried here since my visit. Samosas, cutlets in snacks, all the vegetarian Indian sabzis. I cannot stop eating the dal makhni here. It’s my favourite sabzi and tbh it’s better than most places I have tried in Delhi. Even the ingredients that I am not very fond of like Matar are really well prepared. The food tastes super delicious that it makes you feel like a great evening at Khaosan but also is healthy enough for your stomach to take it all.

So I give it a 4 for Indian food in Thailand, it's pretty good, not on the level of places in Hong Kong or Singapore but pretty good. I will warn you though, and I only knock one star off because it didn't seem to bother the person I was eating with. The tables literally shake at 7:30pm on a Thursday nite because it's right above one of those many all-night party bars in Khaosan Road. If you're looking for a quiet meal, this isn't the place. Lassi was great though.

Air conditioned, no mosquitos and amazing Indian food! We went as a family of 4 and enjoyed being tucked away from the main street and still hearing the hustle of koasan road. Mango lassi is a must get, samosa chat was amazing! They even helped us and recommended the mint sauce to try on top. Would highly recommend!

Polite and friendly staff. Food quality is not so good, Especially Rice, it tasted old and quite dry to eat. Also the curries didn't taste that good. Roti and gulab jamoon was good

  • 4/5 Gregor H. 2 years ago on Google
Reliable Indian food on Khaosan road more like 3.5 stars but uprated due to friendly and swift service. Bhindi could have had a bit more actual Bhindi inside but overall OK. Not sure how people have difficulty getting there - there's a big sign and you just go up the stairs.

👍👍 Undoubtedly the best Pad Thai. This beats all the others. A note of caution - since November 2021 they open for TAKE AWAY ONLY between 10am and 5pm. 👍👍 We waited for 3hrs after arriving at 9:30am, and finally eat our food at 12:30. I suggest to arrive before the shop opens, maybe around 8-8:30am. The omelette is not too flavorsome, just full of crab. The fried fried rice noodle is shockingly good, the texture of the noodle itself is super stretchy,...
