Had a pleasant time there. First, coming in being greeted by the owner feeling warmly welcomed. Second, the ambience was so comfortable and the service was incredible. Third, clean and proper toilet & praying room. Fourth, they sell souvenirs! (Not the magnet or the key chain). Last but not least… I guess I had the best halal meal in Thailand (after spending a week there). Plus the price was very reasonable for the taste and portion!

This is literally the best Thai food I ever had! The service was good, we didn’t had to wait too long. And above that all the price was reasonable. I would defiantly come back again to this restaurant next time I’m in Bangkok!

One of the worst things of hotels in Thailand is that the dining area is smelly because of their kitchens. But things were different at Usman Hotel, the place was extremely clean. The staff was very polite and nice. And talking about the food, no doubt the food was very delicious and well served. After having all these food, the price was nothing, it was extremely cheap. For all the food you see in the picture, I had to pay only TBH 340. I recommend this place for every one and after a very long time I am giving 5 stars to a place.

Found this halal Thai Muslim restaurant while googling for Halal food in BKK. It was so delicious that I have to come back here for the 2nd time during my vacation. Day 1 & day 2-still not enough! Sadly, I should have came back on my 3rd day as well. Portion served is just nice for 2 pax. Affordable and delicious! Everything is fresh. Tom Yum soup, Pad Thai, Grilled squid, Sambal prawn - I can't get enough of it! Will definately come back here when I come back to Bangkok!

We had Usman Thai for 3 days in a row. Most of the food we ordered was heavenly except for their seafood tomyam with river prawn which makes the tomyam taste off. Their friendly staff can speak Malay. Just avoid peak dinner time. Ps: please try their deep fried beef with garlic!

Usman is a pure gentleman. My family enjoyed his company and will not forget his kindness. The food was prepared with love and we could tell with every bite we took. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I visited this restaurant 3 times in the 5 days o was in Bangkok. Don't bother with anyone else, get down here for a real taste of authentic Thai Cousine.

Found this to be the highest rated halal Thai restaurant near our hotel. I asked the waiter for her recommendation about the best curry, she recommended the green curry. It was delicious! The food came quick even though they were busy and it was during peak dinner time on a Friday night. Looks like a beautiful family run business

Excellent halal Thai food. The menu is extensive and everything was done well. I particularly enjoyed the grilled beef with the fish sauce, onions and chillies. Sadly, no pictures. The four of us were too hungry and smashed all the dishes before I could document them! The servers speak Malay too, if that helps.

Our favorite dishes were the stir-fried chicken with basil leaf, the green curry chicken fried rice, and the stir friend shrimp with red sweet chili paste. The Mango sticky rice dessert was great too! Staff was amazing, the food came out in a timely fashion. We got medium or large portions. We asked that the dishes to be medium spicy. The dishes came out perfectly spiced. Thank you for a great experience !

Despite our Grab driver took about one hour to reach here (which was supposed to be half an hour), we felt blessed to be served with delicious foods for our dinner. Every meal that we ordered was tasty with good portion. We ended our dinner with mango sticky rice. A perfect dining experience 👍👍👍

Super delicious. Low prices. Great service. Highly recommended. It’s really testy food. Nice spicy test in the food. Fresh lemon juice. Don’t miss tom yum soup. Take very very long time to serve the food. 50 minutes to serve the first starter dish.

Tasty authentic Thai food. Well priced. We ordered for takeaway and used online menu pages but they weren’t uptodate so check with the restaurant first. The menu numbers don’t correspond correctly. Quick service. Think the workers/owners part Malaysian. Inside the restaurant is quiet even though it was full with people. Clearly a popular option for locals too. The restaurant was slightly tricky to find. Apple Maps location wasn’t accurate. We used Google Maps to find this spot.

Tasty, authentic, Halal thai food at good price. Had a full meal for two (prawns, tom yam, egg, chicken, drinks) at less than 1000 baht. Owner was bubbly and friendly and service staff were polite too. Would have gladly given 5 stars BUT the waiting time for the food is ridiculously long. Waited close to an hour for all our food to come without any explanation for the delay. Had to remind the service staff about our two remaining dishes before they came. Hope the restaurant improves on this and will definitely pay a visit again in future.

From the moment I arrived at Usman, the staff was tops in courtesy and accommodation. The restaurant was exceptionally tidy albeit small. I reviewed the menu and found several dishes that looked and sounded very tasty. Alas, it’s only lunchtime, so I chose the Fried Beef with vegetable and rice- lunch portion. I also ordered a Green/Honey Hot Tea that I am very fond of. Food was served promptly and looked very well plated. At the first bite- I knew I had made a good decision to eat here. The beef was evenly cooked and tender as it should be- very little fat. Rice was cooked to perfection. All in all- I gave this place high marks best here it’s not a question of what they could do better, but rather how many things Usman is doing right! I will be trying dinner at a later time and I’m looking forward to it. Thank you and hope this helps.

The restaurant in general was cozy and good for families. The food was amazing. The restaurant offers good, tasty halal food at an affordable and reasonable price. Just beware of the spicy food, some people may not be able to handle the spice. The mango and sticky rice is highly recommended due to the perfect quantity and the freshness. The staff was friendly and their service was pretty good. This is probably the best halal restaurant.

You must really watch out for the sign to ensure not to miss this very well hidden halal food place. Great green curry, so so tom yum and very well balanced glass noodle salad. Place is a bit small and there are always customers in and out.

It's a nice place to dine in with family & friends. The staff would serve all the dishes ordered at one go, so need to wait patiently. We ordered the set for 6, with some add ons, & all of the dishes were delicious. To get to the restaurant, after dropping off the main road, we need to walk into a small alley to go into the restaurant.

I went to Bangkok in August of this year, forgot to post a review but this restaurant was a life saver. It serves excellent Thai cuisine which is halal and tasty. I got at least one meal each day I stayed in Bangkok and every time the food was excellent and tasted perfect. Thanks for introducing me to Thai cuisine and serving nice Thai halal food, I feel in love with the cuisine and insha'Allah will visit the store when I'm next in Bangkok.

The food is magnificent. Our 1st try is from Grab. We ordered Shrimp Tomyam Fried Rice, Thai Papaya Salad & Crab Meat Fried Rice. The spiciness of the salad was just right and both fried rice was delicious. Next, we went to the restaurant and enjoy thie menu. Seabass lime sauce, prawn tom yum, crab meat omellette, morning glory with Thai Iced Tea. The prawn was big and it was 3 prawn in the tom yum. The seabass was very delicious and the spiciness with sour is just right. The ambience of restaurant is very homey and comfort. We repeat again the next day using Grab and order Sheim Pad Thai and Red Beef Fried Rice. We really enjoy the food and both presentation on packaging and at restaurant is eye catching and nice👍🏻

Highly recommended. Overall, the food here tastes delicious at affordable prices (cheaper than in Malaysia). The ingredients look and taste fresh. Generous food portion. For seafood tomyam, they use udang galah (prawn), which is bigger than in Malaysia. The tomyam brooth is a bit mild. However, I still prefer the taste of thicker brooth seafood tomyam at Malaysia TomYam restaurant, prepared by Pattani chefs. Most of the staff can converse in Pattani Malay dialect, friendly and helpful. The premise is clean, neat, and cozy. Slightly hidden, located in a small alley.

Amazing food, great service and reasonable prices. The place is around 20 meters off the main street but can easily be located. The food: We ordered Phad thai with shrimp, pineapple fried rice, fried tofu, chicken green curry, plain rice, fried shrimps with cheese, tender coconuts and Thai milk tea. Food was amazing. Best phad Thai I had so far anywhere. Green curry had that freshness and crispy shrimp with cheese were awesome. Fried rice were nice, slightly different than regular fried rice, being a bit spicy. Service: Staff was v friendly and service was excellent and v prompt. Ambience: Place was v clean, cool and comfortable. Nothing much fancy but still likeable. Price: Very lavish lunch for 3 costed 1080 baht (30 USD or 40 sgd) which is very economical. We couldn't finish all food and had to pack leftovers. Added bonus: They also were selling black garlic, green balm and dress materials for traditional Malay attire, all v reasonably priced. Double bonus, they were selling excellent ripe mangoes too.

I recently visited this place after 5 years, but the experience and taste of food is the same. It is undoubtedly the best halal authentic Thai restaurant in Bangkok. Usman bhai is friendly as always. He made us feel homely. I was surprised to see that he still remembered me from my last visit back in 2017.

Would have given 5 stars if not for the restaurant being a bit hidden and something else I discovered but rather not put it here hahaha. My fault too I didn't see the sign even though my cab driver told me to walk inside the lane. Food was good. A lot of choices at reasonable prices. Settled for salted fish fried rice and coconut drink. Service wonderful. Left the place with a happy tummy.

The foods are beyond expectations. The issue is just we had to wait a little longer when restaurant got busy. But that not really an issue for me. The servants can speak Malay and understand Indonesian as well. The vibe is just like in the Malaysia or Indonesia restaurant except the Thai alphabets in the menu and labels. We can hear Malay or Indonesian chats because most of the guest here are Indonesian or Malay. The price is reasonable for the quality of the food. One thing that make me like to eat here is the peace of mind because all the foods are halal. That's the most important thing for me.

Usman is 1st place we go to eat after we arrived in Bangkok since covid.. came here for early dinner and yet this place is already packed. Came on a Tuesday noon for lunch and this place was a little far off the main road so be prepared for a slight walk. Super quiet and clean place with proper AC and quickly served and attended by restaurant staff. Ordered the basil beef, papaya salad and the star of our dishes - the green curry chicken which was especially rich in flavor and tender in texture - super recommended! Beef on the other hand was somewhat tough / spicy. Total damage of THB420 for 3 dishes and 2 drinks. All in all, still recommend it if you’re in the area. Pop by before 12 and it’s likely there wouldn’t be a queue. Take note it’s a Halal restaurant, but dishes are Thai authentic and tasty nonetheless.
