The nicest young owners ever! They are so nice and happy to help you with anything (they both speak very good English)! I’ve had a vegan Tom Yum Soup and I love it! 🥰 please make sure to visit it! It’s perfect after visiting Wat Arun Temples, just take the ferry (4baht) from that side to this and you’ll immediately find it on the corner! Thank you so much ☺️

A great restaurant hidden in plain site of the Wat Pho site. Despite the location the food is very good and not what you might expect from an area teeming with tourists. The food is authentic full of flavour and the right amount of heat. The sticky rice went perfectly with the green curry, one of the best I had in Bangkok. The interior is very welcoming and communal with a relaxed Thai feel. Recommended

Great place to eat Thai foods with chic ambience. The people are very attentive and warm. Ordered Tom Yum and Coconut Water with very reasonable prices for a touristy area. Definitely will return when there’s another Bangkok trip.

Best tomyum I’ve had in Bangkok. So rich in flavor and loaded with prawns. I wish I could inject the broth into my veins. The pad Thai is also great too and comes with prawns. The ambience and interior is also really nice and it catches a nice breeze being outside.

If you are visiting the Grand Palace and nearby areas, don't forget to visit this place. We had to wait around 30mins to get seated but the queue moves quite fast. Tom yum soup and Pad Thai was amazing.

Well, I will be absolutely honest here. I have been in this restaurant 1 year ago through a friend’s recommendation and it was one of the best experience of my life. Food was superb, staff was amazing, the environment was super relaxed and friendly. I mean, I dream about this restaurant and if someday I return to Thailand I will be there for sure! Just a little secret, during my stay in Thailand, I went there 2 times!!

Great place to eat in between temple visits ! The pad Thai was great and the waiters very nice. We Aldo has the mango sticky rice, so good!!! They even give you a bowl of ice just to refresh yourself. 100% recommend

Highly recommended for the prize and the place, located in a traditional market surrounded by other similar restaurants. We ordered a pad thai that was exquisite and a rice with green curry with chicken that, although less surprising, was also tasty. Plenty of food and very friendly service. For dessert we tried the natural coconut, very large and cheap. Without a doubt, we would repeat.

Absolutely great - do visit after your tour! Very very tasty Thai dishes (Tom yum, pad Thai, mango sticky rice etc.). Staff is very helpful and great. Prices are very reasonable for this location. Place is typically packed so you might wait 5-10 minutes but it’s definitely worth it. One recommendation - be careful with spice level! Don’t take “Thai spicy” if you cannot handle it! 🥵 Highly recommend this place 😀

We came in here for a quick stop between temples to try their pad thai and ended up falling in love with their “fried noodle” dish. We added some honey roasted pork to the dish and it was perfect! The staff were extremely helpful, fast and friendly. Portion sizes were good and the ambiance was great.

Cute place, nice and tasty Pad Thai. Good serving size. The owners go out of their way to make sure you are happy. They helped us spice the dishes with the correct sauces. They were out of mango sticky rice but somehow the owner was able to go to the market and 15 min after we were served the beautiful yummy dish. Highly appreciated the extra touch of personalized care and attention to detail.

I’m not a fan of SEA food, however this place and Pad Thai is amazing! So tasty! The service is excellent as well, thank you! However only cash allowed, no cards. Something brown was leaking on me from the ceiling, and they gave me a complimentary drink. As I had a sore throat I was removing the ice from the drink, and they brought me a second drink without ice. So kind and attentive, no wonder why there are 1-2hs queues during the lunch time. Will recommend it to my friends

We stumbled here by accident while waiting for another reservation to another restaurant crammed Tonkin annum which ended terrible but that’s another review. Owner was very friendly and helped us with recommendations. Tried their Tom yum and it was amazing. Had their cold drinks and it was refreshing. Rating this high simply for their hospitality and the little sample of food I had. I’m sure their whole menu will be just as delicious. Check this place out.

Lovely little spot for a quick meal. Service was fast, staff were very friendly and considerate. The food was good, and although the menu is limited it is quite nice not to have a million options. The fresh juices were refreshing and the layout is very cosy. It’s very much a place where mostly tourists go but definitely recommend it!

Best food we’ve had during 4 days in Bangkok. We had fried spring rolls, coconut soup and 2 Pad Thai to share - all delicious. The soup and spring rolls were especially outstanding - some of the best we’ve ever had! During the brief waiting time we were served complimentary blue rice with spicy sauce. Staff were extremely polite and service was lightning quick. To top things off, the place is very affordable even for Bangkok standards - almost all starters and mains cost 100 Baht or less. We highly recommend AMA, worth visiting even if you’re not in the area.

Quick service, good food, good location. I had the chicken pad thai. It was good, but not the most amazing I've ever had. The atmosphere is nice and it's close to the reclining Buddha. More expensive than other places for pad thai, but overall, a good experience.

The Tom Yum we had for lunch was pretty good. Pad Thai was also decent. It’s a pity that for dinner we had the best Tom Yum of our lives in a stall near Khao San Road, because now I feel this wasn’t as good as I thought it was while eating it. Place was full of tourists. Portions on the smaller side, not that much meat per plate. Very few tables, so there’s always a short line. Overall, it’s a good place to try Thai food for first timers or if you are still a little worried about the street food hygiene (I get it, I’m a microbiologist, but I also like to take calculated and ~tasty~ risks every once in a while). They can also prepare non spicy versions of the dishes.

Straight A for this restaurant, they deserve 5 stars. Foods are really good and super cheap. The he services are top notch. They gave us a bowl of ice cubes to calm the heat on our body as we're waiting for an empty table. Waiters are very kind, they provide an empty seat just to put my bag. They have suitable amount of employees so the foods can be served quickly. You can hear someone playing some kind of musical instrument at certain times. Came here without anyone's recommendations, didn't even know the restaurant's name until I looked it up on google, but I will gladly recommend this restaurant to anyone who's going to visit Wat Phra / Wat Pho.

They serve a mouthwatering Tom Yum soup with shrimp, I could not get enough of it! My only complaint is that I couldnt try everything on the menu, so I have to come back :) The service is quick and friendly, they even give some tips on how to eat some of the dishes for the best effect. The cooling bowls are a nice touch too. Will be back for sure

I had one of the most memorable experiences during my vacation in Thailand when I tried their delicious pad thai. The service was exceptional, and the owner or manager, I presume, was incredibly accommodating, going the extra mile to show me the best way to enjoy the pad thai.

We came here with really high expectations to try the pad Thai. However it was far from the best pad Thai that we ate in Thailand. Besides that the staff wasn’t really friendly either.

Chic restaurant. Clean and comfortable atmosphere. Polite and friendly service. Reasonable prices. As for the food, too much peanut (not those on the side) buried under Padthai noodle for my liking.

I think this is my favourite Thai food place so far... It can get crowded but I am amazed that the staff are still keeping a cheerful spirit and still providing good and quick services after a long day. They food is really lovely. My family ordered fried flat noodles and they found it a bit too light but I found it just right, and sauces are good with it as well. My green curry with chicken is gorgeous! It’s tender chicken thigh meat other than dry chicken breast like most places. Their rice is well presented as well, it’s blue!

the food was exceptional! the price is mid - range but it was all worth it. the restaurant is near the famous site in Thailand, so you couldn't miss this one! i recommend to order fried noodle and green curry!

Tom Yum Going with blue rice. It's right next to Wat Pho/Reclining Buddha. Definitely geared towards tourists like me. Menu is nice and abbreviated in comparison to the typical Thai encyclopedia of foods. Flavor was great. Portions were not American sized, but priced accordingly. Not pictured is a plate of chicken wings.

If you are near at Emerald Buddha. You should visit to this restaurant. 1- Must visit place if u are the place and enroled Buddha temple 2- Once u exit from the place ...take left (opposite of navy office )...u need keep walking around 500meter. restaurant is at junction itself - English name not written at restaurants 3- U may need to wait for 30min....it's always crowded. 4- I would suggest to eat Pad Thai and Tom yum soup.

A place that you can not miss if you visit Wat Pho. All of the food are very delicious. Make sure you don't miss to order pad thai, tom yum, green curry. They even give us bowls of ice to reduce the heat. And the owner and waitresses are very nice, humble, and helpfull. The bill cost us 870 baht ~25 usd for 4 peoples.

I recommend this local restaurant for both Thais and Foreigners. The taste is so good. I recommend you to order Pad Thai and Tom Yum Mun Kung, these 2 menu are very delicious and not to spicy for foreigner. For Pad Thai, you can choose topping such as chicken, bacon, grilled pork, and shrimp.

Hidden pad Thai restaurant alongside the ferry port, the price is not pricey at all. The drink is really special and worth a try! The owner are very friendly too! Truly recommended !!

Lovely ambience and great attention. Everyone working in this place spoke English and was nice and servicial. The pad Thai was really good, and the prices are more than correct. The food took just a couple of minutes to arrive to our hands once we ordered it, which is great if you’re hungry. The watermelon juice was refreshing and super tasty. Same for the coconut water. If you like shrimps, the shrimps pad Thai is really good, would definitely order it again. Thanks for the nice moment!

Firstly, when queued at the restaurant the waitress was snappy and abrasive; really rude, almost seeming as though she has hate for their customers. Secondly, they have a small pet dog that they allow everywhere. When we first arrived, it was on the counter next to the cash register, which hovers over one of the tables; glad we weren't sitting there. Then, it climbed up and laid on the bench seating area, which is very close to the dining tables and your food. Some customers seemed to love it, and were competing with one another for its attention. But it's gross and unsanitary, and the restaurant shouldn't be allowing it to roam around like that. Thirdly, they only accept cash; this isn't why I rate the restaurant low, but their not accepting credit cards is a bit inconvenient, and surprising for a place that primarily caters to tourists. Now, apparently the place is "famous" for its food, and its padthai in particular. The food was pretty good, the presentation nice, and for a touristy area the prices are quite reasonable, but I don't see it being worthy of fame. The dog running around so close to the food and the rude woman simply ruined the experience for me.

An amazing and perfectly located spot near the grand Temple of Bangkok. Relaxed atmosphere with very kind and efficient service, high quality local food at affordable prices. We will definitely be back to this restaurant, since the varied menu has many more interesting plates we didn't get to try.

A bit of an European atmosphere, but after so many street food places it was a nice change. The place is modern and with a lot of plants, the food is great and not expensive considering the location. I had a tom yum soup, rice and a drink for around 5 euro. Good spot for lunch after visiting the temples

Best chicken green curry ever! If you go to the grand palace, I would highly recommend you to come here before or after. Lovely little restaurant in the corner, there was a line around the block, that’s when we knew we had found a good place. Good food, good portions, fair prices and amazing customer service.

I recently arrived to Bangkok and I was dying for my fist pad Thai in Thailand, I am so happy I got recommended this place. We came here for lunch, after the Grand Palace and from the queue we got AMAZING service. We got ice cubes meanwhile we are waiting to beat the heat, the FOOD was GREAT! We had vegetarian pad Thai and we shared a Thai Omelet, even that tasted so delicious! If you are thinking visiting this place do not think anymore. Also, be patient because could be a long queue as the place is small, but you won’t regret it! Enjoy! :)

An oasis. Gorgeous food in a quality place close(ish) to the Grand Palace and very close to the Reclining Buddha. I’m so glad I looked up some GMaps reviews and checked out this place. It was hot as hell in Bangkok, so the cooling mist gently spraying down on us as we waited was lovely, and staff even handed out ice bowls to help keep us cool. They were really friendly and accommodating our party of 8, and everyone loved their food and drinks. It was well worth our 20 minute wait (at peak time). A golden nugget, for sure, with all the vibes.

Great place that we stopped by for lunch after visiting the Grand Palace on the way go Wat Pho temple. Service and food were excellent- staff gave us a bowl of ice each used to cool us down too. Only downside is the limited seating and if you come at the peak hours you can expect to queue for awhile. P.S. their resident pet dog is super cute too ;)

There's a small queue in front of the shop but it moves fast. The food is definitely worth the wait and the service is really accommodating! Best Pad Thai and coconut i had in the whole trip.
