At the new place on Sathorn Soi 1 we found the restaurant be tastefully decorated and lively. They just reopened April 30, 2022 after 25 years at Patpong 2. We ordered many dishes to taste. All were very good. The French onion soup was probably the best we've had in Bangkok.And we have been on the lookout for a while 'nough said!

Le Bouchon is still the favorite/reliable French restaurant in Bangkok for me. The place has been running for 24 years this year (2020) and hope it will do another 10, 20 more years. Some of the items that we always get Starters: - Escargots - Warm Goat Cheese Salad - Artichoke Hearts with Anchovies & Parmesan - Liver Pate Mains: - Lamb Shank in white beans (a must) - Steak Tartare - Beef Cheek - Rack of Lamb Desserts: - Poached Pear - Cheese Board - Chocolate Mousse If you are lucky, they might have “Picon” at the bar. “Picon et Bière” is my go to drink. Serge “Papa” has been doing an incredible work with the spot. And the kitchen team is dope. Glad to see them in the kitchen space every time. Merci! *** Update: New location with new menu items. For those who loved the former Bouchon, they will not be disappointed. The French cuisine served here is still one of the best in Bangkok. The improvement lies in the settings. It's bigger. The former Bouchon was a tiny talk of the town. The new Bouchon is now a bigger gem in the Bangkok world of gastronomy.

This used to be in Patpong .. imagine how did i feel at that time that my date ask me out for dinner there???.I have no idea such a gems was hiding there. The food was so good how many years ago is my first date??? 10 years later with my husband....they moved to the new area bigger and better.. here I am at the new location and even everything is perfect!!!!

I was there on my Birthday, I really have a great time with food and people, the food really delicious 💕 And the price is good and suitable. I will go to visit the Le Bouchon again when i have chance.

This restaurant is a proud ambassador of the French cuisine in Bangkok! The post -Covid location is bigger and nicer , bringing the diner’s experience to a whole new level. Typical French decor with nice white walls and paintings, a beautiful “Zinc” available for solo diner / drinkers, white table cloths on each table and red sofas to welcome your lady’s bum. Indoor and outdoor area brings an extra choice for smoker or garden lovers. Service comes with little attentions here and there that are making you feel welcome. Many French classics properly executed and a wine list where you can have fun. Bringing some “Amuse bouche” is always a great attention and a good way to get in appetite ! The “Chicken Vol-au-vent” is probably the best I had for a long while, generous with both chicken and mushroom, a great crispy pastry and a just enough sauce. Another classic there is the French steak tartare “A la monsieur Serge”. All time classic but very efficient, coming with fries. An institution in Bangkok, with a decent bill considering the food served. Returned. Will return again.

Nice French restaurant, very romantic vibes and nicely decorated. It was Christmas Eve and we didn't have a reservation but they let us in. The service is good and so is the food and the red wine! Our favorite was the salad with foie. They even made the steak tartare in the shape of a heart - attention to detail, very cute.

A great French restaurant in Bangkok. The Australian Wagyu beef cheek is melted in your mouth. The starters, main dishes and desserts are perfect! The service is excellent. I will come back here again to try other menus.

This restaurant is the perfect solution when you decide that you need a change from all that delicious Thai food: a French restaurant in the heart of the "entertainment" district of Bangkok. I had heard friends from Sweden praising this restaurant to the skies and for once, that praise proved 100% correct when I went for the first time and then returned numerous times. You can imagine yourself in France with the decor of the restaurant. The perfect host in Serge and excellent service from all the staff. The menu does change with what may be available locally, but the staples always remain. Great starters, including snails, perfect poached eggs and spinach, pâté and many more. Delicious main courses and desserts and all overseen by Serge. Very highly recommended!

Oh, I cannot describe how joyful I was. A weekend lunch with friends was way too happy this time. Ambience of the place is clean and cozy. The ladies who took our orders were nice and well knowledge on what they were serving. The food was fun and exciting for us who do not had much of French cuisine. Cheese board was my favourite, and the poached pear as condiment will be my darling for a long time. Onion soup was very on point. Duck confit was good as I expected. Trout meuniere was new for us to try, fluffy fish with light sauce. Ratatouille was so good that one girl who hates veggies were actually enjoying it. One of my girls were so obsessed with the desserts she kept talking of them even we left the restaurant.

Absolutely amazing and the location always surprises me. The restaurant is located in the seedier part of Bangkok. When you enter the restaurant though it is beautiful, calm and quiet! Food is always delicious and you could always get a glimpse of the owner inside. Definitely recommend!

Nice French restaurant, good location with free parking at the neighbor. We were there for lunch and chose their 3-set lunch menu, which was really good. We will come back again.

Great Classic French at a very reasonable price. If you are looking for French cuisine, that will not break your bank then this place might just hit your spot. The menu consists of classic french dishes such as duck al orange and chicken vol au vent. Nothing fancy nor complicate, just well cook well season classic but that what i love about this place. The Lunch set (entree+main+dessert+one sparkling) at 1490++ offers great value. Parking is available at Pantip Suites Sathorn, but it can be limited. So come early and booking ahead is recommend.

This is a top-quality French restaurant with great food and amazing staff & service. It has been around for 20+ years and the original location was memorable (back on Patpong). New location is very nice, comfortable, & upscale in a walled/gated house in the back road of Sathorn. The food is damn good! This is one of my regular stops on every visit to BKK. You should RSVP to get a table here.

Somehow I had the expectation to get the same tasty meals as in South of France (beef tartar & steaks). Maybe I ignored that this is far away from France and there will be some compromise. Ambiencebvwry nice.

What a treat! Superb and friendly service even while they were busy. Just wonderful food. Steak tartare was incredible and the farmers paté (and the desserts)was a hit with my teenage son. Will be back again very soon!

Really nice salad and pate. Generous with bread. Duck in peppercorn sauce is nice. Coffee very good. Lunch set is a decent price. Staff well-trained for proper restaurant service. It gathered a fair crowd as soon as it opened today, surprisingly.
