This is my second time here but still impressive! I would give it a 5 out of 5. Staff are really nice. However, this time I got second floor table. It was kinda noisy because there are many groups sitting there. Advance reservation is recommended. Very limited parking.

Good vibes and good food! My favorite was definitely the unagi pot rice and the beef! I would say that we were a little disappointed by the kegani and ikura clay pot since it was relatively more expensive and didn’t have much meat. But other than that everyone was really homey and delicious. Would recommend to book in advance!

Dinner with two persons, overall Hanazen feels like a Japanese homie restaurant which serves home cooked food! There aren’t too many menus, which is a plus since ingredients will be kept fresh! Their pot rice is their signature dish, and both the salmon and eel are very satisfying! Umami. Recommend to order 20 mins in advance since the pot rice take 30 mins to prepare. A few minuses, the chicken gyoza, we ordered normal and cheese. The cheese had no flavor( not recommended) and the sauce for chicken gyoza is too salty. The Mentaiko Cream is as expected, creamy but gets too rich after a few bites(recommended for 4 persons). Topped it off with matcha pudding, also very tasty. Parking is available but limited, be prepared to move your car mid-bite! Service is great, waiters have great service mind :)

Perfect Japanese dining! Everything is so good especially the hotate and gyutan. Their homemade ginger ale is also spectacular. I absolutely recommend anyone to try at least once. There are only 2 parkings. Prior Reservation is recommended.

Very homey and authentic Japanese food. Sashimi is very fresh and everything taste amazing. They have daily special menu where you can check on their instagram before your visit. Also have homemade soda drinks. Need to book in advance for the table and only have limited parking spot. You might need to park on the parking lot at around 400m away.

Very good quality - loved both the maguro don and the salmon ikura claypot rice! Limited parking space infront of the shop. Recommend to make reservation in advance.

Good experiences Japanese restaurants, they serve really fresh with reasonably price of sashimi. juicy beef top with uni and tasty clam soup. the price of food avg. started with 400+ baht 2 serves. The staff is kind, you have to go to instagram to see specials menu. Restaurant is clean and not crowded, but I’m a bit uncomfortable with the light. *should be booked.

The reservation took a while to reserve, for me it took 1 month prior to book for servings. The food there is very appetizing, and there are many dishes to choose. Plus there will be also a daily limited dishes made on the day for customer to pick. The service here is fantastic as they would explain on the menus which one’s is which and how it would taste. But the parking here is very limited.

Parking can be quite troublesome, there’s a parking lot at “Sati cafe parking lot” but quite a walk especially if it rains. Good food - simple and delicious, egg dashi rolls, beef tongue cut in thick pieces and matcha pudding highly recommended. Good service but restaurant closes around 9.30pm so we had to leave even though we were still enjoying our talk and drinks and desserts.

Delicious food, a bit pricey, good service, chicken wings with cheese and omelett with (some sort of fish) cheese are fine, soba zoru with tempura is the most delicious one. Baked rice with salmon in clay pot is yummy. The taste of green tea pudding is exceptional!

Definitely enjoyed every dish here! Sashimi were so good and their daily menus are also fun! I love clay pot rice salmon so much!

A quite different Japanese restaurant, perhaps losing some of its charm as it has become so popular. Reservations needed.

I really love the homey style of this restaurant. It can make me really happy from the hard day. The ingredients were so good in quality. Also, taste is so delicious in every dish. Staffs is lovely, polite and have good service mind. I’m very impressed. 👍🏻 Note: this restaurant takes a reservation before.

Food was great, but the rest wasn't. Parking's a hassle, and if you don't speak Thai, the waitstaff ignores you. They even charge for an extra lemon slice, and my UnionPay card payment was a mess. Not worth it with so many better options in Bangkok.

We ordered the unagi clay pot rice and it was really fishy we were really disappointed and couldnt even finish the whole dish and the other dish were just ok but nothing extraordinary (the cheese tamago & metaiko cream cheese) the only thing me and my friend can agreed on that it is superb is the matcha pudding and that's it. probably wont be there twice.
