Hands
down
the
most
underwhelming
food
I've
ever
had
by
a
Michelin
chef.
I
was
looking
forward
to
GAGGAN
for
the
longest
time
when
I
first
heard
about
it
years
ago
and
now
this
first
experience
was
ruined
by
mediocre
food.
The
only
saving
grace
was
the
service
staff
which
did
an
excellent
job.
I
went
for
the
lunch
on
6th
Feb
with
high
anticipation.
At
a
cost
of
$675.95
inclusive
of
GST
for
2
pax,
you'll
be
expecting
either
simple
food
done
right
or
high
quality
ingredients
that
will
blow
your
mind
away..
but
no,
most
of
the
courses
are
uninspiring,
one-dimensional
tasting
and
cheap
ingredients.
The
only
dish
that
blow
my
mind
was
the
yoghurt
bomb
and
everything
went
downhill
from
there.
The
rest
are
as
forgettable
as
the
lunch
you
had
yesterday.
For
the
same
amount,
I
can
get
much
higher
quality
ingredients
at
other
Michelin
restaurants
like
Caviar,
Uni
and
Truffle.
Instead,
what
was
served
are
very
cheap
ingredients
with
no
creativity
or
effort
to
make
it
taste
like
Michelin
standard.
Texture
of
the
GANDALA
bar
was
deflated
and
tough
to
bite.
Sea
bass
broth
was
mild
tasting
and
lumped
with
low
quality
vegetables.
The
only
saving
grace
was
the
monkfish
liver.
A
mini
pancake
with
duck
meat
and
curry
spices.
How
is
this
creative?
While
it
taste
good
but
its
definitely
not
Michelin
standard.
Breaking
point
was
the
noodle.
My
partner
commented
to
me
that
this
looks
like
a
bowl
of
mee
goreng
with
small
pieces
of
crabmeat
slapped
on
it.
I
would
have
gone
to
a
hawker
center
if
I
wanted
to
eat
this
dish.
Visual
point
is
zero
It
feels
like
the
chef
has
lost
his
inspiration
in
Singapore
and
asked
someone
else
to
create
the
dishes
on
his
behalf.
Did
I
mention
that
I
was
charged
twice
for
a
bottle
of
still
water
when
I
only
had
one?
I
only
realize
when
I
got
home
and
saw
the
receipt
