The food was surprisingly really good! Highly recommend the place. It's near wat pho, just need to walk for around 5 mins. Ordered this stir fried shrimp and it was really delicious.

Great place for breakfast and brunch around Wat Pho. It has a nice atmosphere, friendly services. I had a yummy padthai 😍and also got a fresh cool pandan drink which I couldn't find this kind of drink in the other stalls 🥹

Great place for a quick bite of Thai food at very reasonable prices, considering the location close to the river and Wat Pho. Place will get busy during lunch time so expect some wait.

We ordered Green Curry, Tom Yum Kung Pasta, Som Tam, and Pad Thai. The server was very kind and spoke English well. One thing that was unfortunate was that the hygiene of the fork and plate was a little bit low. Anyway, it was very hot outside, but inside the store was very cool and comfortable.

I was there for breakfast. Around 9AM on weekdays and many tables were available. The cafe is located at the opposite side of Wat arun, right at the beginning of the alley. While I was having meal, I looked to the bar area and saw people were working there. A woman was making orange juice using their tool and talking to another women at the cashier and in the kitchen. They gave me the vibes that they were running their family business and they were happy working everyday. I ordered a pan fried eggs with topping set with sunny up side eggs, put some soy sauce then it was perfect to eat. For a drink, I ordered a pandan and lemongrass tea and I have to say it's a must-try drink in Thailand. It smelled super fresh and tasted lightly sweet. I fell in love with the drink immediately.

Pad Thai is a little like rubber. Shrimp with garlic - shrimp a little watery. Pork with garlic - delicious! Chicken with garlic - very good. Thay tea with condensed milk- very good! Rice- very good

We visited this place after a long day in the grand palace and the food was delicious! We tried stir fried noodles with chicken, fried spring rolls and my favorite- deep fried pork belly with rice, which was rich in flavor and amazing texture! Would definitely recommend this place.

Fantastic experience, especially after coming from the tourist areas where all the food is double or triple the price. Superlative pad Thai with chicken is only 90 baht! We ordered 2 entree's, a giant tom ka soup to share, 2 fresh squeezed orange juices, and 2 local beers and the whole bill was less than the cost of 2 cocktails at the overpriced tourist bar (Indulge) we went to the night prior. Went back the following day and was blown away by the Pad se ew with squid! Good AC inside as well. Really a hidden gem. Visit and you're in for a treat. Highly recommend the pad se ew with squid (or chicken - chicken runs out first) and the tom ka soup. Everything in the attached photo was under $14 - hard to find this level of quality/price/value in a sit down restaurant with AC.

Delicious food. Amazing pad thai. If you can withstand some spiciness (inform the staff how spicy you want it), go for the tom yum or green curry spaghetti. It’s a fantastic east-west fusion. Pricing here is super friendly.

Yaaass! Loved this place times 1000! I was only upset that they didn’t have the cold teas :( they ran out early so you know it’s a must try!

Delicious Pad Thai, Tom Yum Soup, and other Thai favorites conveniently located near the Grand Palace. Simple, quick, and great tasting. If you like spicy food as for the spicy version!

Very good Thai good close to the Grand Palace and the Reclining Buddha. It is located by the main street with a/c inside. The queue waits outside and the waitress gives you your number in the queue. It might be a 20-30min wait. The food is very good. You can tell them how spicy you want it and they also have a non-spicy page on the menu. They have beer which is not in the menu.

We came here for lunch after spending the morning visiting the grand palace which is right across the street. This restaurant is super trendy on the inside with clean bathrooms. There was a quick lineup and the inside was packed. Due to the lack of translation we didn't quite get what we expected to order but all of the food is delicious anyway so we didn't mind eating it up

Cozy place with delicious food and nice people. Tom Kha, Pad Thai shrimp (only 3 but king size) and Fresh lime soda - yummy!

I enjoyed the food. The price was reasonable and the food was tasty. The service was also pretty quick considering how busy the place is. It is worth a wait to get in the building.

Came here right after visiting Wat Pho. It was crowded as expected. Tom Kha was delicious and flavourful. The prawns were extremely fresh. Pad Thai however, was not as good; lack of some garnishes & noodles taste bad. Service was acceptable. Prices are considered acceptable in my opinion.

Very good place! We ate a few things like green curry, red curry, pad thai with chicken, thick thai noodles with chicken, thai omlette With minced shrimps, all great. Fresh coconut water and all iced coffees delicious. Coffee here is so intense and double shots. Prices e.g drinka ca 60 baht, pad thai 80, omlette 80. We came back here 4 times even though we tried a lot of stuff in many places in Bangkok during out week stay.

I tried the padthai. The taste is good, atmosphere is good. Cash only, better cistomer can pay with credit card. The senior staff is not really friendly

Shrimp Pad Thai (100 THB) One of the best Pad Thai I've ever had. The noodles are perfectly well boiled (al dente) stir fried in sweet and sour sauce with eggs, tofu, bean sprouts, plus, 2 medium shrimps!

  • 5/5 Pascal J. 4 years ago on Google
Ridiculously good phad thai. They also sell coconuts that they open with a machete amd you can then drink the water directly with a straw. Really appreciated on a 34C or more day.

Nice place to stopped by for recharge after your visit at grand place & wat pho. This air-conditioned place has nice sunlight. Ordered shrimp pad thai & shrimp fried rice. Pad thai is great. Definitely something i will reorder if i around this area. Fried rice however taste a bit bland for a heavy-taste lovers. The lady boss is also nice and friendly.

Perfect place to stop by after visiting Wat Pho. It was recommended to me for having good vegetarian options and I'm so glad it was! The pad thai and thai tea were 💯 and reasonably priced.

After visiting the temple, you can drop by this cafe for a cup of drinks and food plus enjoy the aircon. Their food is not nice and affordable price. 1 tea $50 and rice $120, total only $170 nett.

Love the Pha Thai. Really is the best among all which I have tried in Bangkok. Just opposite the Wat Pho Temple. Nice timing to have lunch here after visit.

Not bad, prices are quite high considering the portion. But pad Thai was made really quick which was nice! Iced coffee is okay - wouldn’t visit for the coffee

Perfect place to have breakfast when you plan to go to Wat Pho or Wat Arun. The staffs are friendly and polite. Cuisine is various. Portion of dishes is reasonable with the price, delicious also. Coffee and orange juice are both good. Good place with air conditioner 👍

Very close to Wat Pho temple so it is a nice place to have lunch or dinner after visiting grand palace and Wat Pho temple. Authentic Thai food and cozy place with strong air conditioner. Worth to visit.

👍👍 Undoubtedly the best Pad Thai. This beats all the others. A note of caution - since November 2021 they open for TAKE AWAY ONLY between 10am and 5pm. Get there early, we arrived not knowing this at 4:10pm and the queue was already forming. Excellent attentive and helpful staff tend to every need. The...

👍👍 We waited for 3hrs after arriving at 9:30am, and finally eat our food at 12:30. I suggest to arrive before the shop opens, maybe around 8-8:30am. The omelette is not too flavorsome, just full of crab. The fried fried rice noodle is shockingly good, the texture of the noodle itself is super stretchy,...
