Nice place, cozy restaurant, delicious food, excellent beef Wellington, good wine! Welcoming owner and friendly atmosphere! Excellent service!

Classic French cuisines, skillfully executed, generous portion, homy setting, simply delicious. Proper escargot, not too salty but nice and clean, with special contraption to hold the shell. JP salad is humongous and super tasty, combination of fresh lettuce, balsamic dressing, poached egg, big tomatoes, foie gras toast, and cold cuts, really yum! Penne carbonara, perhaps not french, but it's really proper pasta, good for kids. Duck confit is nicely fried with crispy edges, the duck jus is really the star of the show, thick, complex and absolutely delicious. Beef wellington is the best one I had so far, good quality tenderloin, cooked to perfection, nicely seasoned mushroom filling and flaky pastry. High value for money and highly recommended.

Lovely little French neighbourhood bistro. To be honest if you did not know about it, you would probably not notice it. It is a little bit off the beaten tracks so I was grateful to my friends for introducing me to it. The food is very nice and the wine choices are good too. The only complaint would be that the menu is very limited and apparently also has not changed in a long time. Service was very attentive and the ambience very cozy. If the owner would add a few more items to the menu, I would certainly rush back very soon! Got the hint🙂?

I was craving bouchées à la reine au poulet et champignons but it’s hard to find it in Bangkok so ended up coming here for dinner. The food was delicious, staff and owner were welcoming, and French music in the background created a great atmosphere. My dinner consisted of: - Fresh & Warm Baguette with Butter - Mushroom Soup - Beef Wellington - Scalloped Potatoes - Coke Zero I will definitely be returning to try other menu items!

Great rustic restaurant that serves up delicious French cuisine! A French native vouches for this place and he was on the money! The food was excellent and the owner is friendly. Had the steak tartare, foie gras, and duck confit. No complaints on any of them! Highly Recommend!!

Certainly the worst french restaurant i did the last 10 years in Bkk. Heard about Jp for long time but we never had a chance to try it. To start our dinner we had some really poor quality of cold cut and was slice way to thick! not enjoyable to eat. Being in a french restaurant you except a nice quality of bread, they bring us bread who was even worse then what you can get in Big C. The tartare as nothing of a tartare!!! look like the meat was mixed with a mayonnaise sauce.... there was no tabasco, no shallots, no cornichon and more ingredients missing. Very dissapointed!! The waitress is nice but don't understand much of what she's doing... We order some lamb chop pink and she bring it medium well. When we complain she say that we should ask for our lamb chop rare, quiet surprising! The wine list is very disappointing for french restaurant... all the bottles under 3000 baht are not really attractive and otherwise way over price. And to finish the owner stay at is counter talking to is friend all evening but never take the time to go upstairs to take care of his customers... maybe to much exercise??? will not recommend this restaurant!!! really upset

This is one of our go to restaurant for my family. The food here is really great on both the freshness and the taste. The menus is not over-priced for the quality you get. Staffs were very attentive. There is no parking beside the restaurant however, you can park at the Young’s Place parking basement and get a free parking stamp.

For me, This place is one of amazing french restaurant with affordable price in Bangkok. Service is very nice, All dishes are delicious. Definitely come back.

Wonderful taste/price ratio for a French cuisine. Some standout dishes including the escargot, cold cuts, tenderloin and beef Wellington. The beef are especially tender and strike a nice balance of texture and taste. Highly recommended 👌

Overall a very enjoyable meal and would come again. Friendly service in a classic restaurant of may be 7-8 tables. The complimentary appetizer + baguette were good. Ingredients feel fresh and chef gives good portions for the prices. Duck confit and sauce very flavorful/ a little salty for me but great with the mash). Escargot sauce fragrant/ chef gives extra for the bread. (Disclaimer: honest reviews with limited knowledge of French cuisine though)

Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at JPs tonight. We went for an evening meal to celebrate our 20 th wedding anniversary. His food was absolutely beautiful. I had smiked Salmon to start and Ribeye cooked to perfection with the best Dauphinoise potatoes. He asked the chef to cook something not on the menu for my wife because she was vegetarian and she really enjoyed her food also. He introduced us to his family who also worked there. I would highly recommend paying JP a visit if you want French food in Bangkok. Great guy . Great food.

Had an excellent meal at JP's. Everything was tasty and reasonably priced (for French cuisine). Service was solid and the conversation and vibes were welcoming and relaxed. Will come back. This spot should be full every night but luckily no wait was required.

The atmosphere was good. Service was fantastic. Food was excellent. We truly enjoyed our dinner at JP French restaurant. Would definitely recommend this place for their Beef Wellington, Fried Frog Legs, Beef Tartare, Escargot and for dessert we had Creme Brulee, Ice Nougat washed down with their House wine. Cost THB 5530 for a family of 4. A Truly amazing French dinning experience tucked away in Bangkok. Great Job to the Owner, Chefs n Staff.

A small cozy establishment that serves excellent French cuisine. I usually return for their Beef Tartare. If you plan to visit by car, you may park at the Young Place's parking lot located about 300m away.

Excellent meal, Beef Wellington superb, my wife loved her stone fish or snow fish or whatever it was called. Nice break from the normal fare around these parts. Older style decor and vibe but I think it's intentional.
