A little hard to find but well worth the adventure! You will have to go through a bar on the first floor to get to the stairwell that will take you to the third floor cafe. The place is bright and homey, cute decor and a very friendly, English speaking staff. We were there for breakfast and I had French style scrambled eggs with hollandaise sauce, crispy bacon and some very well seasoned home fried potatoes. My girlfriend had an omelette that was expertly prepared. Then there were the pancakes, fluffy and perfect with butter and Vermont maple syrup <chef kiss>. I had an excellent latte but my girlfriend’s orange juice was a little off, the only misstep in an otherwise perfect breakfast. We look forward to coming back and trying other menu items. Highly recommended.

They know what they're doing here. Must be one of the best places to get breakfast in Bangkok. Everything on my plate was perfect and they may have the best breakfast potatoes in town. Aside from the awesome food, the service is super friendly and professional. I don't know why it took me so long to try this place. I'll have to go back soon to try the pancakes which look great. We went around 10:00am on a Sunday and it was busy so you may have to wait for a table during peak times, but it's definitely worth the wait.

Visited Breakfast Story with a few friends for brunch one Wednesday morning, we were seated right away. Staff was really friendly, service was quick. Aesthetics were really nice, gave brunch vibes. Menu is vegetarian friendly. Food was very filling and really delicious. Price is $$. Definitely recommend checking this place out!

I can see why this place is so popular. Super friendly service from all staff members. Really uplifting. Food is American style, big heavy portions. It was good value for money because I was stuffed. Coffee is overpriced though. It's a little tricky to find on the 3rd floor of a craft bar. But it's a great breakfast option in the area.

I seldom give 5 star reviews, just because it’s hard to meet expectations, especially at certain restaurants. And western style breakfast places usually never come close to what you expect after reading a review or post. But this restaurant gets it! The focus is on food and efficiency. Service, fresh ingredients, and they keep things going to keep up with customer demand. Prices might not be the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. The two floors are small for seating but they lay it out very well. If you’re craving for a good, hot, fresh western style breakfast, with good service while in Bangkok, this is a great choice.

An all day breakfast place, located on the 3rd floor of Hair of The Dog bar. Small and tiny. Few table. The food was very good and tasty. Some coffees and tea. The staff was nice and friendly. Good service but the food was quite slow to serve. The price was expensive. Beer was available at the first floor.

First time eating food at this location. We ate at the Chit Lom location several time last year! The salmon stack was good but wasn’t as good as I remembered from last year! The blueberry bliss is alway very good! A bit on the expensive for breakfast when you’re in Bangkok but it always remind me of how the US doesn’t know how to make scrambled eggs!

The entrance is pretty quiet and you have to go through a club and climb stairs to reach this restaurant, but the moment you enter, the staff warmly welcomes you. The food was delicious but i think the staff made all the difference. They were so cheerful and so genuine with their questions and suggestions, I really feel that’s missing nowadays. Also, they didn’t complain about the 7-11 coffees we brought inside! Lol, I appreciate that, guys!

The breakfast club is a bit hidden. It can be found by walking through the door to Hair of the dog and taking mysterious stairs that leads you upstairs, it's almost like finding the magical land of Narnia. The place is simple and clean with a bright and easygoing surrounding. The staff is very friendly, service minded, and have a sense of humour. The smoothies are good, well balanced with flavours and texture. The food is very good, the freshness, flavours and texture of the healthy choices is really good. They definitely have a good concept for the menu and have topped it with good service and kindness. I will be seeing you again soon.

Original taste & choices for American breakfast; from Egg, omelette, pancake, French toast & burgers with big cup of black or Cappuccino coffee. Feel a bit weird with the bar & the darkness in 1st & 2nd floor.

Such a nice place, a little hidden as you have to go into a bar to get upstairs. But worth finding it, good cappuccino and food. Really enjoyed the burger and blueberry pancakes.

I had an amazing breakfast experience at Breakfast Story Phrom Phong in Bangkok. Not only was the breakfast menu impressively cheap, but the quality of the food exceeded my expectations. The banana bread, in particular, deserves a solid 10/10 rating – it was simply divine and left me craving for more. The restaurant offers a nice selection of drinks to accompany your meal, making it a well-rounded breakfast destination. While the omelette was delicious, I did find it a tad bit oily, which was a minor drawback. However, overall, it was a satisfying and enjoyable breakfast that left me with a positive impression. In conclusion, Breakfast Story Phrom Phong is a gem for breakfast lovers in Bangkok. The affordability, delectable banana bread, and inviting drink options make it a standout choice. Despite a slight oiliness in the omelette, the overall experience was great. I highly recommend giving it a try for a delightful morning meal.

I have gastritis, so lots of food places in Bangkok were making me feel sick. This place tho became my savior and we ended up having our breakfast here every day of our whole trip (and even tried delivery which was also top quality). Honestly the best European breakfast I could’ve ever imagined is all here! The variety of dishes I really wanted to try was so big, but at the same time I fell in love with the way they cook eggs, so I had them like every day almost 😂 In result I enjoyed my good a lot and only felt sick from being full cause portions are biiig 🥰 The service is also very polite, lovely and so damn fast! So in general with good vibes pop music, delicious food and top service this place gave us amazing start of each day in Bangkok. Can’t wait to be back again for another plate of the Classic Stack!

A cute little spot with character and charm on the 2nd level in Mahatun Plaza. Access using the stairs right next to La Monita. It has a hipster diner vibe in the best way - commitment to quality, great service, being awesome and doing it in style. The menu is breakfast comfort food and they clearly take pride in using quality ingredients. I was delighted to find a place cooking eggs in butter instead of oil, and I could taste the difference. When I saw that I could order a side of peanut butter to go with pancakes I knew I was in a special place. Vintage metal signs hang on the walls and there are interesting toys and knick knacks on shelves throughout the space. The staff speak excellent English and are friendly and helpful. Rock music from the 80s was playing both times I visited. It is very clean and there were sanitizer bottles at every table in line with the best practice pandemic measures. Be prepared to add tax and service charge to the prices on the menu, which is common for many restaurants in Bangkok. Even with the taxes the prices are reasonable for the portions and quality of the food. I have been back a couple times because I think it's definitely worth it. I've had the same thing every time (Breakfast Story) because for me it is perfect.

Found this place by chance when staying at the carlton Hotel across the street. The staff are so warm and welcoming and couldn't do enough for me and my family. On top of the excellent service the food is also incredible... In particular the scrambled eggs are possibly the best I have ever tasted. We returned another day and I tried their home made maple and pecan Granola which was also out of this world. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone visiting Bangkok.. Hope to come back one day! ❤️

Great option if you crave for western-style breakfast. My recommendation is Egg Sandwich with Avocado (yumm). The place itself is rather small located on the 3rd floor, which may get a bit crowded during weekend.

A decent small cafe in the city. Fresh and well prepared breakfast style dishes. Well made eggs and both taste great and full filling. Comes before 3pm for deals on coffee ~. A bigger portion of fruits would be nice. More choices with cocktails would be a plus plus~! Happy cafe~

One of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had… 100% recommend coming here. Sad we only came one time during our trip. The food and coffee were served very quickly. Very high quality and delicious tasting meals! And the staff were very kind and caring! This place makes Canadians feel at home! 🍁

Breakfast Story is the perfect place to eat an amazing breakfast with friends and loved ones without feeling rushed. Sit back, eat, drink, and enjoy some conversation or get some work done. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food you get. Coffee is wonderful! Highly recommend!

Food is generous in portion and delicious. Coffee is ok, can be better. The date oat pie is very yummy despite look bland. The staffs speak very well English. I couldn't finish my french toast and they packed it nicely for me. It's not very convenient if you're wearing heels to this place cuz you need to climb two floors. The ventilation is pretty bad... Not very ideal to stay long or visit right before business meeting.

As people say it’s a bit tricky to find, look for the “hair of the dog” bar, go through and up to the 3rd floor. Some of the bar decorations are really interesting to see in the way through, like the steam punk hat!!Service was super fast and the smoothies were excellent and reasonable value. The food however was not so good and small helpings hence the lower rating. The Berry blaster smoothie bowl is so small and hardly any fruit. Not recommended!!

Had a really wonderful breakfast here. They serve a wide variety of breakfast. When you step in, the place is filled with the aroma of fried bacon. Food is generous in portion and taste good too. Will come again.

A bit of a hidden very nice breakfast place. People were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was really good and fair priced. We had an awesome time here and highly recommend it for having breakfast in Bangkok.

It’s good, crowded we were there in a weekday and ordered eggs avocado sandwich and egg Benedict with salmon and chicken burger crispy for our son. When we enter the restaurant, first impression was good, the lady in cashier greeted us very nice and politely and told us to wait a few minutes until she finds us a table Orders came out quick and coffee was so so… rest of the food were delicious and we got a good service and enjoyed it. I see some people complained about 10% service charge and 7 % is vat which is very common here in Thailand I haven’t seen in menu that they have mentioned about it or not but I wasn’t suprised to see that.

Exceptional Coffee! Couldn’t get enough of it! Breakfast Wrap was superb! Everything you want in breakfast in one wrap. I’m a hardcore Eggs Benedict lover which means I’m a hardcore critic. I don’t think the ham was cooked well, it ruined the proportion of the meal. But that aside, the hollandaise was flavorful, the potatoes were well seasoned and the eggs were well poached! I ordered a side of crispy bacon which hit the spot! Something to note about this place is its on the 3rd floor. Its not the most accessible place for heavy people/ people on a wheelchair. Food was great though.

We went to the location where google map indicated. But we didn’t see shop. Since the ground floor entrance was Hair of the Door(pub). You need to go inside and go two stairs upwards. Then lot of foreigners were taking breakfast here. All waitress are working enthusiastic and providing nice service. We ordered pancake, French toast and Chicken wraps, americano and drip cup of Joe. The display for all of these foods looks very nice and delicious. I enjoy eating breakfast here.

Amazing place to enjoy breakfasts, great customer service, food is delicious. Their billionaire bacon is so good. Bread toast to perfection with just the right amount of butter.

The food is good but the price is insane. Reply to owner: My pancakes didn't have enough syrup, and it was "pancake syrup" not maple. Maple is an extra 22 baht. And my meal was 300+. Enough faux syrup would have made the food go down better. Also my eggs were overcooked and the packaging wasn't great. I'm happy to pay for good food but I also expect value for the money.

The best place in the world for American style breakfast. Easily worth the price. This is better than all of my favorite places for breakfast in Alaska and Colorado and I love breakfast!

I love this place. It brought me back to the states. The place can be small for some people but they do have few floors you can enjoy. I personally love the pancake more than the french toast. Coffee is great!

Had the Rasberry Rush Pancakes. Great serving size and we’re very generous with the toppings. Coffee tonic was also delicious. The Oreo shake is also very good. Staff are friendly and helpful. Great vibes!

A small & cosy restaurant with great service, food, and overall experience! It's definitely a go-to place for breakfast when you are in Bkk! Huge variety of breakfast to choose from the menu. Personally, I strongly recommend breakfast wrap & the peanut butter cookie. Love it ❤️

I walked up to the third floor, not expecting such a bustling, friendly atmosphere. Was greeted by a million smiles and immediately felt welcome. The Latte was amazing and the breakfast even more so. I highly recommended this amazing little restaurant and will visit again.

The place is located on the 3rd floor of the building. There are several tables inside, the interior is modest. A large selection of breakfasts for every taste. Prices are average for Thailand. One of the big advantages is that the waiter is friendly and speaks excellent English

Unpretentious breakfast cafe hidden on the upper floor of a bar with a funky name. Bustling with people from all walks of life. Menu selection is filled with a typical diner. If you’re in for a delicious and fulfilling breakfast at a good value you can’t go wrong with the Breakfast Story.

Went here twice for breakfast in our 3 days in Bangkok. First day I got a burger, and it was good - 8/10. Day two I got Buffalo chicken tenders. The Buffalo chicken tenders were the best. Crunchy, juicy, delicious flavor - 11/10. It’s hard to mess up chicken tenders, but even harder to make memorable ones and these were top tier. The food had good portion sizes, and the service staff was very friendly.

I came here 3 times during my stay in BKK. It's simply western breakfast done really, really well. The pancakes 🥞 were fluffy & delish. Same for french toast which used thicker cut soft bread. Scrambled eggs were creamy, perfectly done. I love that they use french butter (richer, deeper flavour) which to me makes all the difference. A basic set-up with simple decor, good service. Food quality justifies the higher prices.
