The photos you see is how the hotel use to look. It is awful. The beautiful reception is now on 3rd floor and only one lift is in use. Only one floor in use. is the gym and massage open NO The whole place is run down. Pool has broken tiles in it and whole area uncared for. The bars are all closed. Breakfast is one choice. Eggs how you prefer them served with one and half toast.a tiny yakky sausage with a warm piece of ham and a tiny banana. No coffee or tea is available except from your room and even then they are skimpy with what they allow you to have. Feel sorry for the staff. Only thing it has going for it is it is in a great position and markets just outside. Very sad as it is a dark and gloomy hotel

This is a very old hotel located within the vicinity of Pratunam fashion market. The building itself, both exterior and interior is relatively run down. The central air-con control in the room is not functioning for the temperature you desire, the shower head loose and there is humid smell along the hallway.

Cannot recommend due to following reasons No buffet breakfast and give very poor set menu meal ..same meal everyday. Not sufficient for one person. Not giving a single bread slice on request. Breakfast is not worth for money. No lunch or dinner by paying... no room service There is no proper reception desk on the ground floor. Carrying bags to upstairs by ourselves. No toilet kits in the bathroom There is no iron in the hotel, and we have to give outside laundry to iron the clothes .

All shop in lobby closed, no aircon in lobby, all hotel restaurants closed. Breakfast served as a packet of bread and butter outside the room door. Rooms are old.

Location is easy to location in the heat of Bangkok, just near the tallest hotel in Bangkok, Baiyoke Sky Hotel. Room service as well as food is excellent. Shopping mall at ground and second floor, banking etc.

It might be old, but still my favourite hotel in the city. It is well situated for shopping. When you step out the front door, you walk into a very buys and well stocked market. In the walkways of the market you will find many things to buy. Nice clothing for cheap...if you can barter well. The rooms are well maintained and suitable for the short time you will spend in them. Under the hotel there are nice food stores where you can stock up on supplies. The Buffet breakfast at the hotel is very well prepared. The small pool is just right to relax in. So spoil yourself for a good stay here and spend the money you save on the outings you take away from the Hotel.

Stayed here a few years ago and it was great but my recent stay was horrible, the place is dead, they cram everyone on one floor so its always noisy, the beds are rock hard, the suit guy always hassles you in the lobby and same goes for the taxis out the front, not only that but i had gotten mud on 2 of the hand towels and they charged me 250 baht per towel because they couldnt wash it off in the sink, maybe try the washing machine? The website mentioned breakfast included, this isnt a buffet breakfast its hardly a breakfast at all and they wanted a 3000 baht deposit on arrival.

One of the worst experience we ever have. Location ok (just nearby pratunam night market), but everything else all poor and less than satisfied. Room furniture and equipment are old and minimal, just acceptable only. Bad and lousy service from all departments except the old chinese lady cashier is polite. It stated buffet breakfast in agoda so we topped up money to opt for it, however when we arrive the cafe for breakfast we were told the breakfast menu is fixed, only 2 hotdogs, 1 slice of ham, 1 egg and 1 banana with cordial orange.. Yet all taste bad except the banana. The stated 'buffet breakfast' is misleading/cheating your customers. We checked in at 3pm and immediately requested for extra pillows, we waited until 5pm and it never came so we called again and was told they are on the way. We waited until 9pm then call the reception again, but was told all room service staffs already off from work nobody can send us the pillows, what the fk... After 9pm the whole building and area basically dead and dark... The street lightings, front porch, lobby, whole building is dark.. We choose to use taxi to come back even though just 5 minutes walking distance. I'm sorry to say I will never come back and I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Worst place I stayed in a hotel so far. I was in there for quarantine for 7 days and trust me for me was like living in a jail. 1. they had a very odd timing to serve their meals and if you ask them to serve they won't change it as per your convenience. 2. It charge you 80 baht of you're not added on their line app, the receptionist are greedy and trick you to charge more but if you order anything from outside they charge you service fee it doesn't matter if you ask them to buy or deliver it to hotel. from hotel reception to room 50 bath service fee. 3. they won't give you new cutlery, you have to was it in bathroom as per their suggestions. 4. won't give you new towel. Overall: the worst living experience. would not recommend to anyone.

My room was on the 6th floor...so I didn't have a view but there was enough light when needed. The rooms and hotel premises are cleaner than the heaven...I don't know how they manage to keep it that neat and tidy. The staff is disciplined and caring, funny at times. The lobbies are very quiet so one must whisper or the sound may echo. The location is perfect for tourists or locals. The entrance is royal and I wish they have more guests so they make more money and hire more staff. As per me, everyone who comes to Thailand must stay here only, it's the ideal residence for any country tourist...other hotels must learn from them. God bless Indra, will visit again!๐Ÿชท

Worst hotel ever. Please donโ€™t think this is a 4 star hotel. I had cockroaches twice in the three day stay. One of them was dead the other was alive. Room service and Guest service poor Breakfast absolutely pathetic Neatness poor Rooms average Washrooms subpar, they do not even provide proper toiletries The only one star is for the location. It is close center World and other local shopping areas. I would never come back to this hotel. This is a 2 star hotel at best

Best affordable accommodation in pratumum market. Safe location for night shopping, with friendly staff. Has KFC, Macd and 711 in the building.

Location is key. Hence I keep staying in this hotel very often. But no guest relation service at all. Just two ladies trying to do everything at their own pace. They keep u waiting until 1pm for check in even if the rooms are available. Not like any other hotels in Bangkok or any other parts of the world. Very rigid and not friendly

Everything about Indra Regent hotel is 5 stars, from its fantastic location to the reception lady who welcomed us and made us feel welcomed. Housekeeping staff is seriously friendly, room is spacious, clean and had a beautiful view. Bed was spacious and quite comfortable. In short, I highly and sincerely recommend it.

The only plus point for this property is it's location, rest all are unsatisfactory. The property is very old and now without sufficient staff and not maintained (specially pool area and other outdoor). We literally feel like haunted. There was only one reception staff serving all. No buffet breakfast, it was with only two options with few items.

Amazing stay we have. Firstly location 3 min walk from Airport Suvarnabhumi train line Ratchaprarop station. 40 baht per person. 10min walk to Platinum mall and 20min to Siam Paragon. Very friendly Hotel Reception Name GES whom welcome us with heart during check in and check out. Friendly Hotel cleaner who provided what we want during stay. Tips if staying: Entrance at south of building and at 4th floor. Bring own toothbrush and toothpaste as not provided. Request extra pillow from cleaner if want and do tips them for their extra work. Reception only available 6am to 11:30pm. Weekend traffic around hotel during peak hour is traffic stand still position. Walking is faster. But weekend is smooth traffic. Enjoy your stay. Thanks for reading.

The only good thing about the hotel was its location. Otherwise the hotel looked haunted as there was no staff plus no amenities. Only two female staff who did the entire work. Breakfast had only toast tea and egg.

Run for the hills! There is a reason why its rated so badly. They have hands down the worst management ive ever had the displeasure of dealing with. They treat you like a cash cow and will do absolutely anything to extract every last penny they can from you. Both middle and upper management were the most deplorable scoundrels. Im in disbelief of what transpired. Think that might not apply to you. Risk it all and try your luck with these slumlords. The floor staff are cute but they are limited in what they can offer you working under such cowboys.

The Indra is not what it used to be, I was super dissapointed with the low standard of or even severe lack of service. The breakfast was dissapointing and the reception staff extremely slow and rude. They will not see me again.

Service is terrible, way understaffed. Breakfast is mediocre. Toilets locked in lobby and then they struggle to find the keys to unlock. Wouldn't recommend them.

Its great for its location, 200m from Ratchaprarop railway station on the airport link, 18mins walk to Siam BTS. But still feels dated, despite being renovated in 2016. Didn't get hotel pictures from inside, but you can see the Indra hotel in the third picture, taken from Platinum Fashion Mall. Its also very Popular choice with Indian tourists.

Pretty decent room but everything seems to be closed and god, the breakfast was terrible, in fact it would be better if they didnโ€™t even offer, the location is the only thing here..

Attach with a complexes for those love to shop. Walking distance to night market. Convenient area with 24 hours shop. Easy excess by public transportation and foods to find nearby instead hotel itself. Old hotel but still interesting place to stay. Huge lobby at 4th floor. Very fast and efficient check in procedures arrange by super friendly staff. Breakfast at level 5. Not much of verity meals served. Choices of breakfast bit limited for international tourist but it still served good meals. Inexpensive and suitable for big group with its locations and budget.

The Indra Regent used to be the grand old dame of Bangkok hotels. I first went there in 1988 and have been back many times. Sometime in the last few years it must have changed owners. Gone is the bustling foyer. Gone is the brilliant outdoor buffet breakfast with staff everywhere ensuring everything was perfect. Gone are much of the lovely wood panels and carpet. Gone is the atmosphere. In it's place is a generic bland hotel which very few people seem to want to stay in. It's cheap but that's it's only selling point with very hard beds and a leaky slippery bathroom. I used to rave about this place. Now I can only recommend you don't go.

I first stayed at the Indra in the eighties and have stayed there around 30 times now , love the location and staff . Over the years I have seen many changes from reception on the ground floor , the bar and music on the mezzanine level with Ding Ding the still great barman. I do wish that there was some entertainment there again , even in the Thai building where they use to have shows at night I prefer the breakfast on level 4 now but the breakfast needs to have variety, it's the same everyday , this last stay I was there 21 nights and after a while the breakfast gets boring & the toaster needs replacing! The beds are the best , so comfortable and rooms lovely and clean . There is a fridge, safe . T.V and kettle. Supplied in the room : Tea , coffee etc. , drinking water and shampoo and liquid soap . There are several 711 stores close by if extra things are needed. The hotel is in the heart of Pratunam , great for shopping and a shopping mall on the mezzanine and ground level . Key cards are needed for the lifts if going about level 4 which is great for security. Love the Indra and the friendly staff .
