Room was pretty antique when I think. But condition especially cleaning was not so good. Big mirror and underneath bed was not clean. Air con, fan was good working. Anytime there was a clerk in counter. So before I check in, they took my luggage at 7 am(fare 15baht). Television, wifi also working. Refrigerator existed not working. Restroom hot shower possible. Water closet not clogged, but need long time to flush. Sometimes machinary noise. I guess it was from outside pond(?). In this street, even nights, quite many motorbike or tuktuk are passing Very cheap price was satisfied. No bedbug or other worms. Close to khaosan road.

I WAS ROBBED AT THIS HOTEL. I stayed 2 nights here and asked them to clean the room for only 1 day, I don't know who and when, but someone from the staff at this hotel stole a leather bag from our room when we were not there. We noticed it when we were packing our things to check out, then we went to the reception to complain and it was bizarre, they didn't understand what we said and laughed in our face. After a while, an English-speaking receptionist arrived and I explained to her, I asked them to look into the camera who came into our room and try to locate the bag, she said she would send me an email with news, but it never happened. I sent an email asking if they had found it and never got a response. I strongly do not recommend this place, for sure this employee should steal things often and the hotel did not seem concerned about it. The rooms are dark, the furniture is old and broken, the bathroom is filthy. There are many other options in this region, do not stay in this hotel.

Spent an afternoon here to recuperate after travelling for a few long flights. Private wet-room, the air-conditioning didn't work but there was at least a ceiling fan. Well located close-by taxis and tuk tuks, close to museums and the river. Was fairly quiet for the 5 hours I spent there in the afternoon. Staff were very helpful, also assisted in getting me a meter-taxi and translating were I wanted to go to.

The room was mold, there were bugs everywhere. Bathroom wasn’t clean at all. Water was coming from right side of the toilet whenever we flushed it. Staff wasn’t helpful. When we asked them the room we booked is different in the picture they laughed and said the pictures are from 10 years ago. I don’t recommend this place.

You get what you pay for, dirty shower head, and bathroom, no views out. It's about 10 min walking distance from kawason market sot it was nice. We asked for another blanket yet they said they can't give us more.

I booked a room here and upon arrival was told that they had no rooms available. I had already paid for my room online, and I was treated as if I was an intruder in their hotel. The front desk woman did not even look at me when I was talking to her. She kept counting money on her desk while I desperately tried to show her that I had paid for a room there. She insisted that I did not book a room there and that I was lying. I couldn’t believe how rude we were being treated. If you are in Bangkok, do not go here.

Great location, cheap prices. The rooms aren't the nicest around, but for this price it's definitely worth it in my book.

The location is very good, in the old town neighborhood among the locals. All main attractions are walkable distance but there are also many buses to take you all around the city, just check the lines at Googl maps. Khao San road is also near and places to eat, many temples are in the area. Muay Thai arena is also 15 minutes on foot away. Location is great. But... The hotel itself is very old and shabby. The photos you will see on the bookig sites do not match what you will see on the spot. The room were covered with tones of dust everywhere I touched, the fridge was not working well, turning into ice anything put iside to cool. In front of the windows there are some panels so there is no air circulation inside and is always too hot. I don't know when the hotel was built but seems since then was not touched a single thing nor repared, nor cleaned. At least the bed sheats and towels were clean. The toilets had the worst condition I have ever seen. And there are a lot of small yellow ants all over the room. I left opened a small bag of pinuts inside my bag and in the morning found it full of them inside. Sometimes they got in the bed. Left side of the hotel is very noisy in the morning, a bunch of small birds and crows are making such a noise since 5 am that wakes up from a sleep. Or a neighbour doing some early works in his yard, or very often someone is riding a motirbike there. The staff do not speak English well and you will not see politness, only the young boy at the reception was giving his best. Not so comfortable stay, the price tells everything but what is presented online is misliding

And old hotel that has not seen any paint or maintenance in years. The atmosphere is quite depressing and dark. For just a little more or perhaps not even that, I would advise to opt for an other hotel. If you book, book only for one night, you may always extend because there are enough vacancies, this as by Booking and other sites, payment is by credit ard up front without reimbursement in case you decide to leave earlier than planned.

For a very inexpensive backpacker experience -- almost like going back to the 1970s -- this hotel is also located in a quiet sidestreet. The streets around it have tons if food stalls, along with many small bars and restaurants at which to simply relax for an entire afternoon or evening.

I guess this is an okay hotel. It's very old and very dated. Much to be desired as far as look. Also can hear the noise in the hallway of people talking. They could afford a little bit bigger TV 24 inches just not big enough for the room. Probably wouldn't recommend this hotel, except if you want someplace cheap for one night. And that's about all it's worth. Don't expect much but I guess it's a place to keep cool have a bed and keep the rain off my head. But that's about it.

Nice place, well located near to khaosan road but in a very quite area. Good hot coffee the morning for 25 baht... The rooms are not new but they are clean. Staff is nice, friendly atmosphere between guests.

I have stayed at this hotel on and off for over 11 years mostly with my Son. They've always been helpful. 6 years ago due to having surgery, I stayed on ground level, at times, inconsiderate guests drinking in the wee small hours were noisy and staff did nothing, except to keep selling them beer, other than that it was fine. This time however is a different experience, for some reason, most of the current staff refuses to walk up to another to talk, instead they choose to YELL from a distance at the other in a disgusting high powered Screeching. This,is Not the Thai way. I'm on the ground level due to my lack of mobility, but trying to sleep when it suits myself is,impossible, and ear plugs haven't worked, consequently exhaustion has set in. Take rooms in the 300s and definitely bring good ear plugs too. I have spoken to the reception staff more than once, but change seems an impossibility. Apart from that it's a well priced clean hotel and you'd be hard pressed to find one better.

Reasonable expirence for what you pay, walking distance from a couple of main streets for food and drinks.friendly staffs and environment. Room bed was not the comfiest but was acceptable, room had a fridge as well which was nice to help keep water cold etc. Also had a TV which was a nice addition. Can be easy to walk past the building if you don't keep your eyes open for the sign.

Still 1 of the best deal in this area. Quite busy so don't forget to book in advance. The 4th floor have been completely refurbished. The rooms are spacious. Not so new but clean. The rooms are cleaned everyday at your convenience and the sheets changed as well if you wish so. There is a small terrace with few tables downstairs and beers and soft drinks are available too

best thing about this hotel is it's location - in a quite neighberhood not far away from quasan rd., but not too close either. the rooms are old but nice, decorated in simple naive way (bottom half of the walls is covered with wood ) which gives it authentic atmosphere. rooms has air condition, cable T.V (french and english chanells) , hot water and free wi-fi, and prices range is 15- 25 USD (most expensive are the rooms with 3-4 beds, for 4-5 people). around the hotel, in small quite streets, can be found small cheap restaurants, with friendly thai people, and 50 meter away is the hectic qausan rd with all it's travel agencies, so it can be a good stop for planning and buying trips and tickets out of bangkok.
