What did we like? We liked everything. PLEASE LEAVE A LIKE IF YOU FIND THIS REVIEW HELPFUL, THANK YOU🙋‍♂️) Breakfast options are offered every morning. Fresh brewed coffee fresh every morning. Strong wifi throughout the hotel. Strong air-conditioning in every room. Super comfortable beds. Clean rooms and active cleaning crew. Awesome location down an quiet alley tucked in the corner. Super close to river. Probably a stones throw from the from door- can't see the river from your window but trust me, it's very close. We deeply appreciate how genuinely kind the owner Game and front desk managers are. The managers are sweet but Game the owner takes his time to accommodate and explain details clearly and effectively. If you're new to Thailand and it's your first time in Bangkok, the front desk manager or Game will guide you everywhere convenient. Don't be afraid to ask them anything. We wanted to stay longer but we gotta get back to Mongolia! I highly reccomend this place to first time travelers and seasoned nomadic veterans. Come to Bangkok Saran Poshtel❤️

A beautiful, modern hotel/hostel located on a quiet street, about 5-10 minute walk from Khaosan Road. You can tell the owners have thought about every little detail. Our room was a good size for 2 people and very clean. The bathroom is small, but everything was clean and worked properly. WiFi and air conditioning worked great. Soundproofing could be improved, it was easy to hear other guests. Breakfast was simple but filling, and there is free bottled water, tea, coffee, and cookies always available in the lobby. All the staff are friendly and helpful, really great customer service! We already booked this hotel again for our return to Bangkok.

Good hotel. The rooms are a little small but space has been well managed. They provide good breakfast and most importantly unlimited bottled water through the stay. Choose the place if you are looking for a hassle free budget stay option.

This place was awesome. Helpful staff, decent breakfast, a huge fridge full of free bottles of water!! They sorted us a taxi for our early morning flight which was great. Not the best area for public transport but they seem to be building a new metro station nearby and river boats are a short walk away.

I recently stayed at this hotel in a great location and found it to be an ideal choice for travellers who spend most of their time exploring. The prices were reasonable, making it a budget-friendly option. The hotel's convenient location allowed for easy access to nearby attractions. If you're planning to be out and about during your trip, this hotel is a suitable place to stay for a few days. Overall, it offers good value for money and meets the needs of travellers who prioritize being outside while travelling.

Nearly faultless. One issue was the mountians of free plastic water bottles. It's a nice gesture to offer these to guests but personally due to the waste I would definiely have prefered a water dispenser where I can refill my own bottle (instead had to go out of the hotel for this). Other than that - great hotel.

This is a great place to stay. The room was clean, bed comfortable and with A/C, shower with hot water and good pressure. Breakfast was very correct too, with good coffee, fresh fruit, juice, cookies, bread, butter and jam, and eggs cooked at the moment the way you want. The common area is very nice, and there is free cookies, coffee and tea 24h. Also, they offer free bottled water as much as you want, which is really nice. The hostel is 10min walk from Khaosan, but in a quite street so there is no noise at night. Well connected with buses, 7-eleven very close as well. It's a great place to stay, but what makes it even better is the kindness of the people working here. They have always a smile, they help you with whatever you need and they speak good english! We had to be at the airport at 4am and they let us leave our luggage the whole day at the hostel, and even spend all the night in the lobby until we had to take the taxi to the airport. We could have a shower for 100bhats, which was great after the whole day walking around the city and before taking a 14 hour flight. Thank you for everything!!!!

    1. Great location, not far from the night market and bus station, also close to the river, can see some night scenery. 2.Including really good value of the breakfast buffet, simple but really worth it the price. 3.Staff really friendly and always smile, greeting to customer. 4.Provide free bottle of fresh water!! This is the best part of the hotel! Very generous. 5.Even you already check out, you can leave your luggage in the lobby for free(not over night). Really sweet for this part. Disliked : For this price not much can complain!! everything really good. However, I want to suggest they add/improve the vacuum air conditioning system in the bathroom otherwise always smell a lot humidity and can heard too much noises from outside.

Great place to stay - large, comfortable rooms, hot showers, quite good breakfasts and free water. You can borrow a book from them, print something, get recommendations or help with reservations. When you want, you can stay downstairs for a free tea/coffee and buscuits.

Room was very clean and the service was excellent. Lots of freebies (free bottled water, coffee, etc.) only downside is that since it’s in the old city, there are no nearby train stations but still accessible via car rental or buses. Such a lovely place.

An amazing hostel! Friendly staff, decent breakfast every day. Clean and functional rooms. Located a quick walk from the busy tourist area so remains quite quiet which I realised afterward was a HUGE bonus!

Stayed here for 3 nights in one of their private rooms. It was clean and excellently located. Staff is very lovely and the value is great! We had zero noise issues, in fact found it very quiet.

A wonderful place to stay. I highly recommend this hotel. The rooms are clean and the service is excellent. The breakfast is plentiful and varied and it’s very convenient that you can help yourself to bottles of water at any time. I’ve already stayed here twice already and will definitely come back.

Good place to stay in Bangkok. It's near the Khaosan Road. Breakfast is simple but good to start in the day. The staff is super friendly and helpful at all time.

The staff are the nicest people that you will ever meet! They try their hardest and always have a smile on. Although it is very cheap, it is impeccably clean and feels very secure and comfortable. Providing the cheap price, the breakfast if quite narrow yet it was sufficient for us, and the rooms are quite small, but again, this is expected. Honestly, it was way better than what we expected for that low price.

You won’t get the most stylish and insta-worthy accommodation, but it’s very clean, in a great location, staff is super friendly and helpful plus breakfast is okay for the price of the room too. Maybe more vegetarian options, less meat would be appreciated more by the general crowd. I booked it for the affordable single room, because I needed a break from dorms after backpacking for a while. Not a lot of places offer this option, which is great.

The hotel is clean, well located, quiet and the rooms have nice beds. The staff is super friendly and they gave us a lot of very useful tips to move around and visit nice places. Most recommended, we would definitely come back.

Staff was extremely helpful. There is an offer of breakfast dishes such as different types of eggs, spring rolls, meat. You can choose. The interior and the room was modern and clean. We enjoyed our stay.

    Nice service and everything clean

  • 5/5 K B. 11 months ago on Google
Extremely clean & comfortable stay in a convenient location - close enough to walk to all the main sights in Bangkok and only about 10 minutes to Khao San Road - far enough that it’s extremely quiet and peaceful at night. Free water was provided, wifi worked great, the rooms were spotlessly clean, the ac was cold and the showers had good pressure and hot water. The breakfast was good with eggs and meat/mushrooms cooked to your liking and then self-serve fruits, yogurts, breads, etc. This was our first time in Bangkok and this was a perfect base to see everything we wanted to see!

It was a very nice experience. The staff was very helpfull and spoke english fluently, at the least the people at the reception. Price for quality was great. Thats always how i measure the quality of things like this, but if it was a little more expensive i would still say the same. I had my own room with my own bathroom. When i rented a bike somewhere else they just let me park the bike jn the garage. I would not recommend the ‘western’ breakfeast. Some people may want to get this because they are used to eat eggs, sausage and bread for breakfeast but i would just recommend to adjust and eat a thai breakfeast. With that being said, my girlfriend liked the ‘western’ breakfeast :) The location is perfect in my opinion, especially when you rent a bike.

The first thing that I noticed when entering this modern and excellently maintained place was the scent, it just smells so nicely, with a gentle perfume sprinkled in many public areas. The room that I took (deluxe private room with bathroom) was sparkling clean - and nicely smelling too - much like the rest of the building. Everything was in perfect condition as if it were built just recently. The heating of the water in the shower could be improved to higher capacity heaters (the water was above warm but not so hot), but other than that I don't recall maintenance or technical issues. The breakfast, albeit on the modest side, was tasty and clean, with fresh ingredients and consistent quality. The tables in the seating area had this weird quality that whenever I had coffee, something fell and caused some of the coffee to spill, maybe the legs of the tables are not designed well. But really this is just trying to dig some minor problems. Another tiny problem was that the drainage canal near the public toilets on the ground floor is easy to trip on, happened to me twice. But really, if you're a couple and looking for a pleasant and extremely clean place to stay, not too far from Khaosan and the river, then this will be an excellent option at this price level which is very affordable. You will not regret picking it, and it may be one of the nicest places you've stayed in your tour. However: for solo travelers / backpackers, unfortunately I have a significant difficulty recommending this place in the same way - for me the vibe was too "sterile", with all kinds of strict rules that have in fact made several guests (not just me) feel uncomfortable and misinformed, in particular the fact that no visitors are allowed in the premises past the reception desk - even though this was not stated clearly at all when I booked the place. I would say, if there are certain strict policies for whatever reasons (such as - no external visitors allowed, only one dish per person in breakfast, no option to shower anywhere after checkout time - even for a fee, scary price list for extra laundry of the bed sheets and covers, etc.), then it would just be *fair* to state all of this clearly before confirming the booking, as part of well-communicated "house rules", and thus to let people make an informed decision about their booking. Otherwise, meeting those rules for the first time only after you're already there, just causes unnecessary frustration and negatively affects the stay for some of the guests, because at that point it is impractical to do anything but to accept these rules. Therefore it is with a heavy heart that I give this place only 3 stars, at least until those house rules become communicated clearly before the booking. If I were a couple, I would surely give the hotel 4-5 stars (half a star off is because of the location, that is actually a quarter of an hour walk from Khaosan), so I'm only trying to reflect an aspect that is applicable to certain travelers. Again I repeat that it's the cleanest and one of the best maintained places that I stayed at in this category of hostels during my trip -- but even with the understanding that the rules have reasonings, I cannot ignore the fact that being a solo traveler, I felt very surprised to learn about these rules only at arrival, and I am pretty sure that other solo guests shared similar feeling - to the extent that maybe I would skip this place and wouldn't stay here if I had known. I will add that the staff was very helpful, informative and kind, and went an extra mile to assist and explain -- within the boundaries of the house rules and policies. To summarize: excellent building, maintenance and hygiene, 4.5 stars if you're a couple, but carefully consider if the rules fit you if you're solo / backpacker.

Pros: Clean and close to Khaosan Road. The breakfast is not too much (not a buffet), but it is delicious. Cheap. Disadvantages: The rooms are very small, you can hardly fit in them. The bathroom is also small (we had a room with our own bathroom). The equipment is poor, not even a TV.

The receptionist couldn't be more helpful and supportive. He knew all about bus stops, closes ferry stops and markets. The Rooms where clean spacious and probably the best AC in whole Thailand. The breakfast buffet was delicious. It's 10 min to khaosan and plenty of busses around the streets, so perfect location.

My 3 year old son drew small lines on the bedsheets with a temporary marker unknowingly while playing. We got a notice saying that the mark is not going in the laundry and needs to be sent out. And following day they said it not gone and and had to pay 600 baht to cover the expense of the bedsheet. They gave the bedsheet and we washed it and it's gone. I have traveled many countries and stayed in hundreds of hotels but faced this issue first time. Not recommended to stay there as a family. Too small and any mistake costs a lot.. Rating of 1 to 2 and would never stay there ever..

This place is fantastic as far as Hostels go. Very professional, polite and kind reception with a surprisingly welcoming foyer. The rooms are clean and the overall service is more than good. Considering the price this has been a hit

A beautiful, clean and cheap hotel. At first I wanted to stay in a hotel with pool but cheap hotels with pools are mostly not good. Luckily we stayed here. You'll get a good breakfast, free cookies and water all day long. It is protected and you can just enter with a card so no strangers can come inside. The staff is kind and helpful! The rooms were clean with a modern equipment. We had an own bathroom. It is small but good for the price. Nothing to complain about, an absolut recommondation.

Brilliant hotel and vibe. The hotel is really clean and modern. There is the spacious main lobby where people chill out with free coffee, snacks, and a book case with over a hundred books. Also 2 computers with internet and a tv with Netflix. It’s really unique for Bangkok as stayed in over 30 hotels here and haven’t seen these extra facilities outside the hotel room. The hotel room has great facilities with a huge tv, really comfy bed, multi option air conditioning and a hot shower. I plug my Netflix stick into the tv to watch and it works perfect and fast being high quality without any stoppages. Most other hotels in Thailand the wi fi cuts off so this is another great positive. There’s also an elevator to each floor which helps with baggage. The hotel isn’t too busy as just restarted after 2.5 years closed due to covid. The staff are very helpful, friendly helpful and down to earth while also speaking good English. They also organise transport to the airport which is half the price than when I got a taxi before. The hotel is also 10 minutes walk from Khao San so close enough while being in a quiet location if staying in for the night. I would highly recommend the hotel and wish the manager Game and his staff the best of success for the future.

Me and my friends visited Bangkok for the first time and was glad we found a decent and affordable hotel. Good for budget travellers. The rooms are not cramp up and they have elevator for the five floors hotel. Although have limited choice for breakfast but overall a satisfied stay.

Great hotel to stay during your trip in Bangkok. Nice and quiet place to retreat to after a busy day in Bangkok. Hotel is modern and brand new. First time arriving is a bit of a surprise because you don't expect this hotel in the street it is. Staff is nice and helpful and speak English very well. Used the common showers and bathroom, were all very clean. All in all just a nice hotel for a good price.

Overall the Guest House cleanliness is superb! The staffs are generally courteous and friendly. Keep up the great job! With special mentioned to the Guest House owners (Game & Pink) whom are extremely helpful and patience in attending to my inquiries and requests. I'll definitely come back to stay on my next trip in Bangkok.

This hotel, was TOTALLY amazing. We stayed there 8/1 - 11/1 2019, and we totally loved it. Hotel is really beautiful and nicely decorated, there are lots of plants. Room was very comfy and clean. Staff is very kind. There is also free bottled water! On breakfast, you can mix your own plate from eggs, vegetable etc... At last but not least, hotel is located in quiet street, but near city centre. You can find streetfood almost 2 minutes by walk from hotel. On our next trip to Thailand, we will definitely stay there. <3

This is like a hostel in Bangkok. The hotel is very clean and tidy. The cost is reasonable and the staff members are really friendly and helpful for the tourists. Many people from outside Thailand stay here. I was staying here for 5 days which was really pleasant. It has a common restroom in each floor which is indeed clean. I would recommend this hotel for others as well. It is located in a very quiet place.
