A well-priced quirky hotel in Chinatown. This hotel is unusual looking in a good way. It has exposed plumbing and an old heritage yet modern feel to it. Facilities are fantastic. Comfortable bed, great air conditioning and a rain head shower. There is a games room located on the 2nd floor that serves free tea and coffee. I enjoyed my stay, but did move to a different hotel after five days to a something self-contained with standard kitchen facilities.

For the Price this is a great little Hotel. Clean rooms, staff are great, they have a guest area with a big TV couches, pool table, laundry, coffee, tea and as much water as you can drink! They do have rooms that the only window would be pointing indoors so just be mindful of what room you select!

Right in the middle of Chinatown. Very friendly reception staffs and super quick check in process. Room - sparkling clean, spacious enough with high quality amenities. I was pleasantly surprised by a Panasonic ionic hair dryer with a diffuser attachment (for ladies hair styling) provided in the room. I would have appreciated though if the hotel provided in room slippers, however, that's just a minor issue. The hotel has a coin operated laundry machines and dryers, which is a plus side for us. Common areas are really spacious and well equipped. No breakfast is provided at the hotel but it's not a problem since you have the whole Chinatown for the best savory foods.

Hotel right in the heart of Chinatown BKK. Brilliant vibrant location and top class service as always in Thailand. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. Absolutely incredible. And the price is amazing. Bangkok is the greatest city in the world 🌍🇹🇭❤️

Our group of 13 people stayed two nights there. Great price, location and services. Rooms are not big but clean. Breakfast has very little choice but ok with that money. 5 minutes walk from metro, 10 minutes from china town. Highly recommend

Friendly staff, good service, a very nice lounge to spend some time in and helpful doormen. Rooms have windows, though they cannot open (or at least the ones in my room couldn't) and the shower in the bathroom "leaks" water to the rest of the bathroom floor (where there is nowhere for it to go). Power outlets located under the TV and behind the pillows of the bed - a bit of a weird placement, chose not to use it. My room also had a safe, a TV, a mini fridge, hairdryer, kettle to boil water and an "open closet".

It's almost really good, but there's two significant drawbacks: 1. The location isn't quite the nice part of Chinatown; walking around the area isn't very pleasant. 2. The water is totally messed up. The pressure seems to change between weak & excessive every 30 seconds, and the temperature in the shower keeps changing from too cold to too hot and back again. At least it's clean and the rooms are a reasonable size, though.

Pretty good. Sketchy location, but close to the good Chinatown stuff. I found it a little expensive, but the amenities are nice : free unlimited nescafe, 2 bottles of water a day, the lobby is nice, and there's an upstairs lounge with an exercise bike, a pool table, and a clothes washer/dryer (pay to use.) nice decor in the common areas and extremely nice furniture for some odd reason.

The moment I walked in I love the design of the hotel. There's many vintage bikes. Many spot inside great for photogenic guest like me. Location is very close to everything. I asked staff for the recommendation of the places in Bangkok. They are very friendly and helpful especially K. Patrick the Front Office Manager. He knows about the information and great recommendation of the restaurant. Thank you again for all great service and hospitality for all staff. I will definitely return to your hotel again for my next visit in Bangkok.

Thank you to Tew(Teuw?) and Joe, and all the other front desk staff. They were extremely friendly and always quick to react. The area is actually not that bad, only at night you will notice some girl workers on the street but I never felt once in danger walking by myself. You are close to a mini mall (I’m Chinatown) which has a good, clean gym to work out at (Jetts) The room itself is very simple and the bed is very large and comfortable. For the money you are saving here it is totally worth it, you are a 10-15 minute bike ride away from the mega malls and central districts. I totally recommend this place and if the price is relatively the same I will come back again. Work area in the lobby is very nice.

Stayed here for 2 nights during my recent trip to Bangkok. Saved this place for quite some time, was actually to stay before Covid 19 happens. this hotel is strategically located inside the Chinatown of Bangkok. The nearest metro station is Wat Mankon which is about 5 mins walk away. Check- in was a breeze and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was was rather basic but cozy. You get all the necessary items like air condition, hot shower and etc. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and really had a 2 good nights of sleep. i was assigned to a room on the 3rd level, there are 2 lifts around but i find walking up and down the stairs faster. There are eateries and convenience stalls nearby the hotel. The only thing that bothers me was that the location seems a little bit complicated with vice activities within the hotel's vicinity. Apart from that, i would still recommend this hotel without a doubt.

A classic Chinese style hotel with modern touched. Rooms are quite big with high ceiling. AC working really good. Bed are really good and comfortable. Wish they provide more pillow. The lounge is good and you can see the owners motorcycle collection. At the second floor they provide mini gym, pool table, water dispenser, and laundry. Washing cost you 60 thb, dryer cost 60 thb also. No parking at all, if you park in the street police might impose a fine. Nearest parking building will cost 360 THB / day. There are night market at 22nd July monument near the hotel.

Cute oasis in the busy streets. We were delighted when we stepped through the lobby doors, after walking the streets from the train station. Beautiful reception, super friendly staff. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Would stay here again. Highly recommend!

I and my fiancé stayed here for 4 nights and the room is clean, all necessary items provided. The hotel rate is good. The staff is friendly. They are happy to store our luggage before check-in and after check-out. If you want the janitor to clean your room, do inform the receptionist when you give them back the hotel key when you go out. Located in Chinatown, W22 is only 7 minutes from the train station by foot. Quite convenient to grab delicious food from street vendor at reasonable price. However, at night the neighborhood is quite dark and some 'suspicious ladies' standing around even though they do not approach you or anything.

Affordable hotel. Good location, walkable distance to Chinatown. Lovely reception cum lounge and restaurant area. Beautifully done and dont miss the Harley Davidson display near the courtyard. Breakfast is outsourced. Good spread. But this means, you don't have lunch or dinner options at the hotel. Who needs that anyways, Chinatown being so close-by. Washing machines and dryer facilities available at an extra cost. Tea-coffee machines, snooker table etc on the second floor. They provide luggage storage services free of cost. They also have a tour provider available in the reception area.

I had a good experience staying in this place. The rooms are not very large but as I was traveling with my partner it was adequate. If you plan to work or stay for a longer period then the size of the rooms may cause you trouble. We didn't opt for the breakfast so can't talk about that. The location is the best thing about this property. From street food to grocery to public transport to tacky Bangkok vibe, everything is in walking distance. We were using Wat Mangkon station for commute (including hotel to airport). There is a Seven Eleven very close to it and the Famous China town is 5 mins walk from the hotel. If I ever visit Bangkok again, I will definitely try to book this hotel.

A bit colonial, but reasonably nice hotel, with it's best feature being it's location: near china town and the old town. Friendly staff. There are washingmachines available.

i am unhappy. we booked a room which should have a view on the city. the reality is that the windows in most rooms face to the inside of the hotel, aka the lobby which has no sunlight. this makes the rooms dark and depressing. i asked reception if i can change, but they told me all rooms for 3 people have windows facing inside. please don’t let the cool pictures of the lobby fool you EDIT: Few hours later, we asked (another receptionist) again to change our room, because one of us was getting depressed. We immediately got a new room with windows to the street. So there were free rooms! The first receptionist just lied to us.

The staff was friendly and eager to make our stay comfortable. Our room was nice and very clean. They have a locked area where we left our bags after checkout so we could explore. The location is perfect if you want to stay in Chinatown at a good price and the metro station is only a 5 minute walk.

Nice and clean room. It was small but convenient. The location was great. Close to many restaurants and a bus stop. After check out, our luggage could be stored safely behind the service desk. In the evening before our flight, we could use a shower room to refresh ourselves. The only downside was that there is no bar.

very good place for little money. the main advantage is the location. the hotel is located in the center of china district. rooms clean and spacious, beautiful lobby. the only minus is the poor breakfast, it's better to go outside and eat something from a stall

We stayed here three nights. Not problems with the stay. The room was clean and quiet. Everything advertised on their website was in the room. The building and lobby were very neat and updated. Front door security was there 24/7. Location next to Chinatown could not have been better for us. The rooftop was not open when we were there but looked like it could be a really cool place.

Good quiet location for China Town. Immediate area is a bit rough. If you are just ordering taxi then totally fine. Service is accommodating if need you ask.

Amazing value for the money. They perfume the lobby so when you walk in, it's like walking into a spa coming from outside in hectic Bangkok. Our room was clean, bathroom included, and the shower pressure was incredible after being very disappointing in our previous few hotels around Thailand. We only had housekeeping come in every other day, so they would hang a bag of water bottles and toilet paper on the door on the off days, which was much appreciated. The safe was big enough for my laptop, camera, and other valuables when I wanted to lock them up. Location was perfect for everything we wanted to do, easy for Grabs to pick us up and plenty of cool spots within walking distance. Stayed for a week and would stay again!

We were part of an Exotica tour that stayed 3 nights here. The rooms are tiny and the bathroom even smaller. Their free breakfast was sad. No restaurant. It's in China Town and a good distance from any attractions. We would never stay there again.

This was a budget friendly hotel at Bangkok. The lobby was lovely and they keep a collection of bikes for show. The rooms were just perfect. I wish they had more items in the toiletries section. Their baggage keeping policy is good and safe.

Had the most pleasant stay in this hotel. Despite being located in a shop-lot in Chinatown, the hotel was quite luxurious and exceeded my expectations. The overall interior of the hotel is very European-esque. The lobby smelt great and the rooms were very spacious, more than comfortable for 4 people. We stayed for one night and checked out earlier than the supposed check out time. We kept all our bags at the hotel in this designated store room in the lobby that they have for guests to keep their bags in and came back in the evening for our bags before going to the airport. Overall, it was a lovely stay in this hotel and it was unfortunate that we were only able to stay for one night. Highly recommended!

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The check-in process was smooth. The room itself was impeccably clean. The bed was super comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep after a long day of exploring the city. What impressed me the most was the staff's genuine friendliness and willingness to assist of the staff here. The hotel's location was also ideal, conveniently situated close to major landmarks and public transportation, making it easy to explore Chinatown and old town Bangkok.

The hotel is unique, has a different feel. Positives are: the hotel is clean, rooms are quiet and WiFi is good. The lobby is big and has an area to work in. The negatives are the location (not the best neighborhood for walking), and the size of the rooms. Bathroom is also fairly small. Ideal for 1 person.

What a nice little find near the heart of Chinatown. The rooms were large, clean and private. The beds were comfortable with clean sheets. The shower had good water pressure and hot! Air conditioning worked well too. The bathroom did have a funky smell when the exhaust fan was on and hand soap in the bathroom would be appreciated. We felt the breakfast was overpriced for the area and the restaurant was expensive in general. Never got the chance to eat there as we never felt welcome or approached when we walked in. Felt lost and confused. The decor however of the lobby and hotel throughout was trendy and hip. The hotel in general is good value however as mentioned the restaurant was not in sync with the hotels standard.

Outstanding hotel with beautiful decor all round and beautiful designed rooms to match. I was very impressed indeed. Great value too. When you step outside, China town is right at your doorstep! The assertiveness and quality of English spoken by staff members here was on another level to what I'm used to in Thailand. Full marks for sure. Brilliant bar here too.

  • 5/5 Niels N. 4 years ago on Google
Very nice and stylish hotel with everything you might need. Friendly and helpful staff, too. Breakfast is not great for the price, but on weekdays you need to get up reasonably early to find something to eat in the neighborhood, because they cater to people going to work. Be sure to get a coffee at the place around the corner, on the big roundabout! The neighborhood is super interesting to explore, with lots of little alleyways, but it can be a bit rough at night (although it never felt dangerous).

Registered through Thai Pass system. The hotel did not send registration to the hospital, so after my flight at 10:00 pm I had to wait for the hospital to get tested, where they tried to charge me additional money. Next, the results took 13 hours. I had come the week prior and it took 6 hours. When asked about the the time no explanation other than waiting for the hospital. When I checked out they received the results at 12:00 pm but refused to tell me about them until 2 pm.

Rooms are more like in a guesthouse than a hotel, relatively small and basic. However, you got everything you need in a hotel room, AC, TV and all other amenities are modern and working fine. Huge plus for the soft yet comfortable bed. However, soundproofing between rooms is not great as usually in low budget hotels. Location is a bit rough neighbourhood with a lot of small business industry and some "red light" activity but absolutely nothing to be concerned about.

For an upscale hotel at a really good middle of the road price in the heart of Chinatown, W22 is a great option. Comfortable rooms and beds, helpful staff, good location and price. Skip the breakfast though, terrible selection when you could just walk a few minutes to Chinatown and get some delicious street food breakfast!

  • 5/5 Jamie R. 1 year ago on Google
Clean and big rooms, beds were super comfy. Don’t book a tour with the people in the lobby, they tried to rip us off with the floating market. They would drive you to a place where you HAVE TO get a boat for 1,000 each person (we were 4) but you don’t have to get a boat in advance you can still get it at the market for around 250 Baht for a whole boat.

Very nice hotel, comfortable and very clean rooms. Also nice decoration, great location (super close to the train station and Chinatown). Good prices and welcoming and nice staff. Recommended!

  • 2/5 Zsanett R. 1 year ago on Google
The first impression of the hotel was good; friendly staff, clean rooms, nice lobby area, relatively good location. However, I accidentally dropped my eye shadow palette and some black pieces went on the bed sheet and the floor. I managed to clean up most of it and remove the black stain from the towel I used for cleaning. However, I was charged around £50 for bed sheet and duvet (our stay cost the same amount for 3 nights!!!). I asked the receptionist to clean the sheet in the washing machine and if the stain still cannot be removed I am more than happy to pay for the damage. At the checkout , the receptionist showed me the the sheet that was obviously smudged with water but not washed. I did not see the point to argue, payed and left the hotel disappointed.

Really amazed at the consistency of the interior design throughout the hotel (especially the Harley's collection)! Will be even better with a small fitness center (though there is a threadmill in the pantry area). Nevertheless, service staff is friendly and good food in the Chinatown area.

W22 4.5 We actually had two stays at the W22 hotel. The first room was much better, the second room smelt like ketchup. The staff were really helpful, they let us check in early for our second stay for 200 baht, giving us much needed sleep before our flight. The street that it's on is a bit grimy but with a very convenient seven eleven. Overall a good location, can get to alot of interesting sites easily. The W22 does everything you would expect of it, good air con, nice beds, clean and great showers. Definitely great value for money.

The bed was really comfortable and had most basic amenities. On our first night I was really scared as the mirror was directly facing us at the bed and called the staff, though they said they got no more towels for me to cover it up, the next day they removed the mirror entirely to make our stay comfortable! Thank you w22 hotel staff

Cannot beat the price. It definitely makes up for the location. Which isn’t too bad just not in a super tourist area. Hotel is super clean and the staff is more than accommodating. Everyone is friendly. Front desk has all the information for anything that you might need

Unique design and love the lobby deco. The counter staffs are super helpful. We checked in slightly earlier but they offer to keep our luggage safe so that we can start traveling around. We stayed for 2 nights, the room is clean, toilet cover with colorful marble tiles but overall room size is a bit small. The location is very accessible but in front there are some 'girl' activities. However it doesn't affect my stay there. Highly recommended.

  • 5/5 Mallory L. 1 year ago on Google
The staff was so friendly and super helpful. They come and straighten up the room every day and give you water and toilet paper and new towels. The fridge and AC work great. We had a great view from the window. It is located in China Town and it is easy to get to the train station. They also have a room with a tv and pool table. They have a coffee station and microwave. They also have laundry( washer and dryer) for 60 each for 14kg.
