I love this place. All the staff are very lively and attentive. You can paint your own cake and get nice creative coffee as well. They also offer accommodation as a hostel.

The decoration is so nice. Spacious and clean. The drink is also good. I ordered Premium Matcha Milk which is highly recommended. This place has a special menu called 'Canvas Cake' that you can paint and decorate your very own cake! So cool and fun!👌🏻💗

Though the location may not be the best, I was really satisfied with my stay at this hostel. They provided me a fresh set of towel and slippers upon my arrival, was really thankful for this as not every hostel includes such miscellaneous items. While I was out, they even help tidy my bed and provided me a fresh set of towel, something not every hostel do for you as well. My stay comes with breakfast too, and although it’s similar everyday, I never want to miss it, cause it was really tasty and a great meal to start the day. The bed was comfy, toilet was clean, and you can see their staff consistently cleaning the place, keeping the cleanliness top notch. Something about being aboard alone, it was really nice to have warming staff to chat with me, they are always asking me what’s my plan for the day before I leave, and would share tips and places that I could check out as well. And when I’m back, they’ll put in effort to make conversation with me, something I truly appreciate. I really enjoyed my stay here, and it’s such a waste I couldn’t give a higher rating, I’ll definitely recommend this hostel if you’re crossing my Bangkok!

This is in the touristy district west of Talad Noi. For those who happens to be staying around here, with kids. And with kids that are no longer taking an interest in all the historical buildings, whom keep asking “are we done yet” time and time over. Well, deviate your waking tour plans and head on into Fun Café Bangkok. Here is where you get to paint a cake and then eat it. There were a couple of tourists when were here. Looks like this café is also well known beyond the shores of Thailand, probably thanks to social media. The café serves a variety of fusion food, coffee and tea of course. Makes good for late breakfast and lunch too. The highlight is in the activity obviously. It was rather queer everyone was so engrossed in their own world, trying to do Picasso on their cakes. The staffs also went around inspecting art in progress. Fortunately, when you paint utter rubbish, they don’t smack you on your head like how art teachers of a time gone by do. It will be a nice hour of something different for tourists. A great place to beat the heat too.

First time, I thought it's only cafe, but also there's a room for rent which is hostel. When one step open the doors, many staff welcoming me and my friends. Before going to the upstairs, we ordered the food and drink first. I do like the vibes and colorful.

I enjoyed the cake painting so much! The staff is very easy to talk to and nice. The cake also tastes good. I bought their signature blank canvas cake which has three layers - lime, lemon, strawberry. They prepared salt to add to the cake to balance out the sourness, but I liked it without the salt. The painting colors are red, blue, yellow, and white. The staff told me that you can refill the "paint" unlimited. It is a cozy place to enjoy food and painting. The music choice is also really good. Will definitely recommend this place to my friends if they travel to Bangkok!

The Café is very creative and the staff is great. It was a lot of fun to paint on my cake. Afterwards I almost didn't want to eat the cake but it was very delicious.

DIY cake painting cafe with coffee, croissant & some iced refreshment. A few seats are available due to Covid. 2-3 parking space in the front. You may not be able to get seats in the afternoon.

The restaurant is located in a wide and quiet alley. I love the idea of the customer being able to freely create the cakes. the prices here are also very reasonable and the quality of the drinks is ok for me

Perfect location with cheapest price. Friendly staff, clean room and rest room, great decorations, fit for solo or group travellers. I love the space between bed and wall that I can storage all my belongings inside my bed not on the sidewalk like other hostel. There is lot of street food around that you can find food super eazy when you sleep here.

BEST STAY ON MY TRIP! I booked an entire room for 2 instead of beds in shared room and it was amazing. Clean, amazing air conditioning and first of all - superb staff. During check-in they found out it's my birthday and surprised me with a little celebration later on. Can't stress it enough how it totally made my day.

Loved this hostel- it's definitely one of my favorites of all time! Super clean and modern/updated. Gam at the front desk was soo nice and helpful- very welcoming. She arranged a taxi to the airport ($500 baht) and answered all my questions with no problem. They have binder full of ideas of things to do and helpful tips. The shared bathrooms were always SO clean- they frequently clean them. Every morning I saw them putting clean duvet covers on the down comforters (I've always wondered if hotels I stayed at actually wash the duvet cover after every guest.... well, this place definitely does!). Kitchen is not for cooking but you can store things in the fridge, get free water and make (instant) coffee or tea. Not a party hostel but it is a fairly social one with a nice little hang out area. Loved my room and this place. Great location near the Marina Park (?) ferry stop which will take you quickly up the river to all the main sights. Or walk the other direction towards Silom for nice restaurants. Near Chinatown as well. I will definitely stay here again.

It's a lovely cafe with fun activities! The cafe is colorful and lively. They serve you food, drink, and creativity. We choose to paint our own cake. I do not remember what I ordered but I still remember the cake is not too sweet to eat. The staffs are nice and kind. They explain us details with their cute smile. I have a good memory here. I hope you will too!

What a FUN day. I was surprised that how yummy are the cakes. I thought it just for like decorating but it turned out that the cake is super good. Highly recommended for someone who admires cakes and arts.

Quite unique activity. The original cake tastes good. And that are all the good points. However, this place might not be good for people who is not so good at arts and need guidance from the staffs. To be honest, staffs can barely answer the question about the CAKE PAINTING STUFF. Like how to mix color to get the black one or how to get the brown color. It seems like most of the staffs are trained to be too friendly(?) that they used a lot of sarcastic jokes on the customers cakes. I do understand that they tried to be friendly but not all people can tolerate this kind of sarcasm or uncreative judgments. I hope they change their strategy and focus more on the service rather than insulting customers.

A great hostel to stay at in Bangkok, with very friendly staff. The beds are large and spacious, and come with a curtain for privacy, as well as a small cupboard that can be locked with your own padlock. There's a restaurant and bar on the ground floor, which serves really nice food. There are plenty of toilets, showers, and sinks, which are all kept in good condition. The showers even come with shampoo and shower gel. There's a communal space and kitchen, with two free to us computers. A laundry machine and dryer are available on the top floor, which will cost 30 baht each. The hostel even offers handling a taxi service to the airport for 500 baht, which I used on my last day to make things a little bit less stressful. I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a hostel in Bangkok.

Fun Cafe offering fun “design your own cake” service. 2 flavours of cake at your choice: lime passion or Choc cake. You then will be provided with a colourful pallet for you to design your own cake.

The staffs are friendly and the place is clean. Although this was taken 6 years ago, it’s still fresh in my mind. The Hostel was newly opened that time.

Great well run hostel. Good bunk space and security locker, curtains in the dorm. Roof to dry your clothing, basic communal kitchen and common room with comfortable mates, TV and video etc. Good location near to China Town and the Golden Buddha. My only gripe is that there are few restaurants near and the area is very quiet at night... So it's a walk or taxi etc to go out..

It's nice, but weird! They want you to be as good as posible but a bit faking all the time. The beds are great! Has space inside for putting Ur stuff and even has a small table with locker. The idea of the place is goods but somethings are missing, like a bigger place to have breeky without going to the coffee shop downstairs, and then a better service. What a lot of people complain, was about the aircon. It was freezing. I got a cold and cough for about 3 days after leaving. I didn't like the location. Is dangerous at night, but during the day is ok, you just have to walk 700mts to the train station, which is a but far and also not nice (people sleeping in the streets, strange and poor people arround there)

The name of the cafe has said it all. It's a fun place to at anytime, weekend with friends and family, or even alone. Inside was claming and warm, everyone seemed to enjoyed and focused on their very own piece of art. And surprisingly, the cake and cookies were actually pretty good.

It‘s a cafe that is very easy to travel to. It is close to Hua Lamphong. The staff are lovely and very welcoming. The drinks are delicious and the cake tastes good. You can also draw pictures on the cake. I really like this cafe. The atmosphere of the shop is very beautiful and cute. Next time, I will come to support you again.

I love the cake painting activity. It’s the highlight of this cafe. I also ordered the coffee, and it tastes good. The decoration of the cafe is cute and the service is good. The staff has taken care of us since we got into the cafe. The cafe is 500 m from MRT Hua Lamphong, so it can be walked. Moreover, upstairs there are an art workshop studio and a dog cafe too. The disadvantages are that the music was too loud, I cannot hear my friends when we are talking. In conclusion, the cafe is good and suits people who come with friends.

I went looking for old hotel employees but I was late. The last time I visited was four years ago. Now I took chocolate and sweets to the cafe staff, I hope it was good.
