I ate the summer berry salad and it was so delicious with plumb berries and crunchy coated walnuts. My mom ate the shrimp & grits and we both enjoyed our choices! We added the mason jar banana pudding and cherry cheesecake to our order to try later.

I have been waiting to try Southern Spoon until the crawfish etouffee came back on the menu and I got that chance today. I ordered the banana pudding as well. Both were flavorful and delicious. Love the southern flavors in the etouffee and the pudding is to die for. Will definitely be a repeat customer. Look forward to trying other delicious food in the future.

We very rarely eat or order out our meals for one reason. Total disappointment, I could do way better cooking at home. Exhausted from multiple days of hard-core landscaping, I decided to give Southern Spoon a try. Everything was absolutely amazing, everything!! Jambalaya, potato salad, po boy, shrimp grits, banana pudding!! Everything. Highly recommend!

LOVED the bang bang shrimp taco. Shredded pork sandwich was very good too. Owners are great, helpful with ordering! Can’t wait to order again. For a take out experience it’s wonderful. Have a couple suggestion for inside dining. Suggest simply use paper plates for inside dining - not awkward takeout containers. Napkins on the tables. Looking forward to next visit

Great food and great service. My family and I had lunch there and all of the food was off the charts! The bang bang shrimp tacos were outstanding. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I would recommend to anyone.

So I have never had to write a review before but this was so good I felt I had to. This has to be one of the best things I have ever tasted. Try the shrimp in grits and support these guys

An extremely welcome addition to Brewer! It’s no surprise that when it comes to Bangor vs Brewer, Bangor pretty easily takes the cake in terms of food variety. Southern Spoon may be a start in tipping those scales. Everything I’ve tried off the menu has been very good. Namely, the Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos, the Pimento Cheese BLT, and the Southern Q Poboy. The creative minds behind Southern Spoon seem to have a knack for meshing tastes together to create a completely new flavor experience. I would highly recommend checking them out, especially if you’re looking for something new and refreshing to try!

Food was a delicious surprise and great find! ...shrimp Tacos were delicious....Crab cake PoBoys were amazing...real welcoming Southern Hospitality from the staff...Highly recommended!!!
