Masjid Kampus UGM is a campus mosque owned by Gajah Mada University which is the largest campus mosque in Jogja. Initially the mosque was called Masjid Sholahudin UGM. The architecture of Masjid Kampus UGM is a blend of architectural styles of the Masjid Nabawi, Chinese, Indian and Javanese culture. In the yard there is a pond similar to the pond that found in the Taj Mahal building.

I came here several times long before the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic. On the main gate there is an announcement that UGM Mosque is closed for the public until Juni 30, 2021.

This mosque is so beautiful and comfortable, it has a unique architectural design. Love it!

Really love the design, the details, and how it can be stay cool without airconditioning. It has a lot of ablution area, inside and outside the main building. The front park and gate also beautiful and instagramable. Car parking area is big enough, but during peak hour, like during sholat Jum'at, sometimes you have to park outside on the street

My favorite occasion for visiting this Masjid is when Ramadhan coming. Usually the preachers are prominent figure of Indonesia. For those who seek ifthar, this Masjid will serve you a variety free meal each day from established culinary stall around Jogja.

The Nabawi Mosque, Chinese, Indian, and Javanese architectural elements are all combined in the design of the UGM Campus Mosque. A pool resembling the one in the Taj Mahal structure is in the yard.

I was graduated here but this was the first time I visited this mosque. The mosque is really spacious. The building concept is nice. If you have trip around the city and want to have a rest, this can be your choice. Btw, the wudhu place is on another building.

First time visiting this big and popular mosque. Really comfortable and well designed both the main structure and the garden around it. The toilet and ablution place are very clean and complete with hand soap everywhere. No bad smell and broken toilet. It has wide and green parking area. Really recommended to pray here.

Lil bit hot when humidity is at its peak, but aside from that all is good! Good place for taraweeh n itikaf, not too noisy/packed, sometimes they provide free sahoor, n iftaar,even itikaf snacks. Their bathroom n wudhu place is way cleaner now than before, n there are some quran n mukena to borrow. Reguler kajian n friendly people there, barokallah

It's very clean and neat, there is a security service that will take your belongings or bags to the lockers. So you'll feel safe while doing some prayers. The wudhu area is also spotless, I think this building has such a good maintenance and well services in every corner.

This mosque is part of Gadjah Mada University, but it open for public. It's became one of Gadjah Mada University icon. Mostly people call it "Maskam UGM". Almost all Islamic activities of Gadjah Mada University students are carried out here. It's big mosque for a university, and the architecture looks so awesome. Luxury, clean, and has many facilities.

Today I visit this masjid to pray dhuhur. The situation still quite. Just some people come and go to pray. Masjid are relatively clean, and I am sure the Takmir always keep it. Just always pray, hope the Covid19 will be decrease and decrease... aamiin...
