Well, I couldn't be more disappointed! The place looks like a construction site, the service is really pathetic, the breakfast is the poorest I had in this country, the food is too expensive for what it is, the parking for your car is too dangerous for the car, the pool is dirty, the "beach" is dirty and unswimmable, the room we got is super cheaply built with no privacy and with the view of a parked truck (the jaccuzi is unusable because of that), I had small ants climbing on top of me in the bed! the internet cuts for a long time (but they explain it's not the hotel's fault, it's from the provider), the normal morning scene is of a woman doing the hotel laundry in the garage... basically you get nothing of what this place is published to be. I think they're trying to be something they very clearly are not, at least yet. Not worth the trip here or the money paid.

Great place to stay if you plan to go to the dunes with some draw backs. Its right across the street and is a great place to stay if you enjoy running. I ran to the west in the morning to see the salt mines. There are very few cars out this way especially in the morning and I got a great view of the sunrise from the end of the bay. The rooms we have stayed in at this place are nicely airconditioned and sit next to the bay facing North. The bay is mostly still and makes you feel like you are staying near a lake. The place feels very community oriented with the pool and restaurant right in the same area as all the rooms. There are not many rooms so this place never felt crowded or invasive and felt very safe and family oriented. The breakfasts were satisfactory and the service was hospitable. We have stayed at this place twice. The first time staying, our room was great. Our second room had a great balcony leading out to a great view of the bay with an empty jacuzzi. The kitchen was very hot and stuffy while the bathroom was terrible. The shower had wires sticking out near the top of the head where my wife shared how she was shocked when she tried fixing it. Also the shower had a crack in the floor which made our bathroom floor continuously wet. The water was also cold both times we stayed and should be something to consider when staying here. We didn't bother trying to find out about filling the jacuzzi knowing the water would be cold.

Lovely place. Excellent rooms. Not much catering from staff. We sat outside to play cards and no one ever approached us to see if we wanted a drink or anything else. Pretty much you are on your own. Most of the food on the menu was not available. We were told it was Thursday and they buy groceries on Mondays! If they work on the food service and attentiveness to guest it would be a 4 star hotel.

Sava Salinas is a nice boutique style hotel mostly for couples but they accept families too. It has these amazing views to the Calderas bay and they have the Calderas sand dunes right across the street. I would recommend the villas with Jacuzzi, relaxing breathtaking scenery and a really comfortable place to stay.

One of the worse places i ever stayed at i would not recommend it at all. I was so disappointed in the owner that never even said really a word to me. This is a poor environment and should be closed down. Even the pool was always dirty. The so call jacuzzi took almost 2 hours to fill. People please do not stay here you will regret it.

5 star prices for 1 star experience. Ants in bed, dirty waterfront, unmaintained pool, unhelpful staff, awkward parking, bad views over parking lots, cheap construction (not deluxe as stated) - really for this price anything is better. Worst stay we had in DR. Feels like a sham.

This place is amazingly good. I couldn’t believe how much effort the staff made just for us to feel comfortable. They were available at any time, also, they always made double check in anything. Place: The location is beyond perfect. The Perfect getaway for those days when you don’t want to see anybody ( like me, lool) The food was also a major PLUS, !¡Divine hands!

Very nice view, food, and pool. The only problem is that there isn't a repellent in the world that will get rid of the mosquitoes.

Do not come to this place, me and my family had the worst experience here. The owner was rude. The food nasty. Sand fleas everywhere. We couldn’t even sit still without them biting us. On top of that the food is very over priced. 🤮🤮🤮

We waited about 1h30, for three dishes, even tough the terras wasn’t even half full. A chicken dish i wouldn’t even dare to serve at a kfc, a supposed salad drowning in mayonese and another main dish that wouldn’t even feed a child. Stay away from here, even for drinks (a beer and a wine take about 10 minutes to arrive) A waste of time, money and taste buds.

Don’t go to this place! Really bad service and you’ll never receive your food. I left after more than an hour waiting for just one hamburger and chicken fingers.

This place is lovely however the service is terrible. We arrived at 1pm and got our food at almost 3pm. The servers were very nonchalant about the lack of service and the manager on duty did very little to appease us. When the food arrived the food orders were wrong and we had appetizers missing. 5 stars for location 1 star for terrible service.

The rooms where in bad shape, the food was terrible and the location is in the middle of nowhere. I would not recommend this hotel.

This review is only about the restaurant. I Suggest skipping it. Location is lovely but service is very slow and food came out cold. Find a more switched on place.
