It's beautiful, such a nice place to take photos. It is extremely hot, though. You need to make sure you wear the appropriate shoes for the hot sand. You also need to be careful if it's too windy, the sand may hurt your eyes.

(Translated by Google) Dunas de Las Calderas Natural Monument, popularly known as "Las Dunas de Baní", are the largest dunes in the country. Its sand is of terrigenous origin or is not formed by the remains of organisms of calcareous origin and it contains a lot of iron. Its fauna and flora are characteristic of the dry forest, highlighting the olive plant species (Simarouba berteroana), which is endemic to the dune region itself.

👍👍 A beautifull little escapade amongst bani, peravia. Might be a bit tricky to get there since i got a bit lost myself, but the friendly locals even offered to escort us there. Beautifull clear water and small waterfalls to jump from. Hint: try the local made "mabi" at the only store near it

👍👍 We loved getting to know the Salinas de Baní, at first it was a bit scary because we got on an ugly side, but then we went on the side of some rails and a small village and it was super exciting hehehehe
