If you are hungry and planning on eating here, please look for the next restaurant. From waiting a 1+ hour for the food, to the food with a really low average taste like. Staff is friendly, i only saw one guy taking care of the people, there was another girl working too but she was busy. Had high hopes for this place but all I got was a really big disappointment, oh! Did i mention that in order for you to come and eat you gotta pay first? They don't let you eat if you don't pay their "minimum" with is 700 pesos per person. So yes, first and definitely last time coming here.

The hotel view is breathtaking but that's is all it's .. swimming pool are dirty, rooms are dirty and the floors. We stayed in the fourth floor with no elevators. FOOD was absolutely flavorless.. I won't go back to this hotel.. It Could be a great hotel if they clean it inside and outside and change the chef..

I went there for food, taste was 1.5/5 , waiting time was about 1:30 hour for the appetizer & I had a bad experience

First let me say that the staff is great! They are very welcoming and friendly. The views are breath taking. Love the pool area as well. We were a group of 8 and needed two rooms. Each room had a king size bed and one queen size bed. The rooms were spacious with a pool and beach view. However the rooms were not well maintained. Tye floors were dirty & it seemed as if they hadn't been mopped in months.There were ants everywhere! I was also attacked by mosquitos & was not able to sleep because I kept getting bit all night. The rooms have no phone, no wifi, no coffee machine, and they don't even provide water. We could've called for some, but because there was no phone in the rooms and no wifi, we couldn't. We were also on a 4th floor walk up and ended going downstairs late night to see if we found someone to sell us some water & no one was available. We even went inside there kitchen looking for some staff members and we found dirty dishes from the night before in the sink. We expressed our concerns to the owner. His demeanor was defensive and nonchalant. We was also very arrogant and blantly told us that there was nothing that he could do & that it was a small hotel and that because it was a small hotel, they didn't function like a regular hotels. Oh and they dont allow outside drinks & if you do happen to bring your own drinks, they will charge you $2000 pesos to be able to drink your own liquor in their establishment!

Nice view that is it. Filthy dirty. The food was gross. Fix the place. The doors dont close, dirt everywhere. Will not return. Owner is arrogant and thinks that 500 tylenol left on the floors is funny I could post pics ,you will not go here but google doesn't allow them. This place is not child safe nor is it healthy. Stop giving the hotel 5 stars because of the view.

The kitchen cannot handle more than 5 customers at a time. The owner gave us attitude because we brought up that we'd been waiting for 1.5 hours for our appetizers. The waiting staff was very nice, the owner wasn't.

There is a pool and restaurant service by the sea. Staff is friendly but service is not the best and the rooms are quite basic and not in the best shape. Stayed there once and upon arriving to the room, the concierge/bartender girl said that she forgot the key and A/C control, but that she'll be back shortly. No soap, toilet paper or shampoo in the bathroom. 45 min. later she had not yet returned. Came downstairs for dinner and she apologized because she got busy (it seemed more like she didn't want to go up 3 flights anymore). After dinner went up again to the room, but the key was for a different room. Came downstairs and there was no one visible. Had to start calling out for assistance. A friendly staff apologized and gave me the right key. Went back up, entered the room only to discover the A/C control does not work. Went back down and started to call out for assistance and the same friendly guy came with another control. After that, all was good. On a separate occasion, I left after sitting on a table waiting to be tended by a waiter. There is loud music on outdoor speakers, but you can ask them for a different type of music. They own another hotel in Palmar de Ocoa and are opening a fancier one next door. Maybe their focus is on those facilities.

The Food Took A Horrible Downfall, and almost nothing had flavor. Sad—

This is a Great, Hotel Pure, Great Services. Playa Salinas is beautiful. I enjoy the music here the view and a very nice staff. I will definitely return. Try the Paella

This is clearly the Place to be. Nothing compares to the Hotel, Marina and Restaurants run by the owner that by the way is also English speaking and a great Chef

We went for a late lunch. The food was very good and the service was first rate. It was my first time visiting but I will definitely visit again for the whole day as they had a pool. Cheers

I have been in the restaurant several times for the last 6 years. I love that is not crowded and the landscape is spectacular. Reading the other reviewers it seems that kitchen speed is an issue, but that has not been my experience. There are several settings / areas through the restaurant for family, weddings and romantic gatherings. Every time I visit Bani, I make a stop here.

The worst service I’ve ever got in a touristic restaurant, the manager was very rude, the way they talk to us was very aggressive, my family and foreign friends were very disappointed.
