Love the majestic feel you get as soon as you step foot on the place. The building is beautiful from the inside out, the lawns are well kept with a great flow around the premise. One of the prettiest buildings in DR imo, really transports you to a time and place. Once inside it’s well ventilated with ac and the seats are comfy. A cultural icon.

I love to see art. There were different works of local art and the attendant was really friendly and answered all my questions. Two floors of art I really enjoyed my 30 minutes walking around in this beautiful building. So, five stars all day and the staff is more than five stars, overall, it was a fun time. Good luck finding a place to park I had to walk a few blocks.

My wife and I were invited to an art exhibit and were a little skeptic about the place. Really great ambience and facilities. Last renovations have turned palace in a magnificent place though I would work on the surroundings and parkings worn better illumination and security. Really beautiful place!!

This majestic neoclassical building that serves for the presentation of plays, concerts, award ceremonies and exhibitions, was built during the dictatorship of Rafael Leonidas Trujillo with the aim of promoting the development of art and culture in the Dominican Republic. This building houses official institutions dedicated to the fine arts: the National School of Dance, the School of Dramatic Art, the National School of Visual Art, the National Classical Ballet , the National Folkloric Ballet and the National Symphony Orchestra.
