The Unknown and Outstanding Arakere Kere is about 27km from Mysuru, 4km from Kodagahalli village.260 acres of pure heaven.Ideal place for picnic, swimming and photography.Fishing is done using boat, nets and angling. The walk around this place is eye soothing. Sri Narasimha Swamy Temple, Sri Maruleshwara Swamy temple and Sri Channakeshva Swamy Temple are some of the other attraction around this lake. Ancient Chola Dynasty Temple believed to be connected with the Sri Pathaleshwara Temple in Talakadu. The hill view from this lake adds a special touch to this lake. Overall the mesmerising nature surrounding the place and the blessings of Almighty Lord Eshwara makes this a must visit with Friends and Family
