What a fun, casual and classic pub! Heard music and walked right in. Friendly staff. First ordered a couple brews at the bar then found a seat outside. Tip: Left side seating is if you are ordering food/dining. Right side seating are drinks only. Wall of Denial (A Stevie Ray Vaughan tribute band) were the performers this Sunday and totally digged the music! Friendly locals bar. The bartenders were great! Definitely heading there again. $3.50 drafts the day we were there!

The bartenders were attentive and had good suggestions. Fast service even when they were busy. Beer garden is a great place to hang in the shade on a hot day.

Just a very pleasant surprise to find a great Pub almost across the street from the High wood metra just a hop, skip and jump from Kenosha. Great selection of beers including Zombie Dust. Good restaurant adjoining it and parking in the back. Outside patio with music on weekends and Sunday afternoon. Personable owner, Tommy who bartends and a mellow crowd and not a hip-hop crowd 🙂. Friendly oasis.

Being that I’m not from Highland Park or Illinois, it’s been interesting finding a friendly regular spot. Toadstool is a gem, from the service by everyone, especially Tom/Toad and Susie to drinks, I love it here!

If you are looking for a place to relax and have some good drinks, this is the place! They make excellent margaritas!

Went to see Pub Room Allstars. They were fantastic and the crowd was great.

Great local place. Damn good freaking amazing garlic bloody Mary! I crave them! Fun ambience, friendly people and staff.

I can't totally pan this place because they gave me no chance to fully experience the joint. Here's the story... reached out to them via Messenger when I saw they were hosting a band I wanted to see. But for us we see and we dance, swing dance. This band, The Westerlees seemed to be very danceable. I asked about space for a couple to dance. They said "hopefully more than one couple", a direct quote. When we got there it was standing room only in the area where the band was playing. Absolutely no space to dance, especially swing dancing. We drove an hour for a really good band and only enough space to tap our feet. We found a place outside in 20 degree weather to dance. Could only handle 4 songs because our hands were freezing. They didn't need to miss lead us. They had plenty of people there. I own a small business and when I seriously doubt our ability to satisfy a client, we back away and tell the truth. The truth will set you free!
